A regular pedi and gel mani takes 1hr or 1hr 15 min max. Perfect for a working mom who can't be spending hours at the nail salon. And my gel manicures have always lasted at least 3-4 weeks. I've never made an appointment and just walk-in with no issues - although I tend to go when they just open/early mornings. And no specific person because every single one is incredibly capable. I can't tell if they were careless or unskilled. 1. The kid who did my pedicure ran the water so cold I had to ask him to add hot water. He was rough cutting my cuticle and nicked my skin. He was so careless with the callous file that he literally scratched my ankle. The woman who applied the nail color did a sloppy job on one of my toes and did the bare minimum to fix it after I asked her. This was for the "deluxe" pedicure. $65 2. For my manicure, that same woman filed my nails unevenly, too pointy, and didn't even bother to smooth them edge out. The owner then upsold me on chrome, which was fine. But the lady seemed like it was first time doing it. She only buffed it on 3 nails on my right hand then proceeded to add clear polish. When I pointed out that she needed to buff the nail, she tried to tell me that chrome nails were supposed to be glittery. Once the owner intervened. She was annoyed and proceeded to complain about me while doing her job. When I pointed out that the other nails on my right hand needed buffing. She was so visibly annoyed that I told her to forget it and just paid and left. I paid $150+ for this.

Her hair was perfection, each strand of hair was in its place and the cut was so flattering as well as her color. I asked for the referral. I called Ela and scheduled 2 appointments for myself and my daughter. Last time I had a haircut this good was 17 years ago when I lived in NYC. Coincidentally, turned out we both lived in the same neighborhood and Ela knows my former stylist. She has the same training and background, we had a lot in common and our conversation was fun. . It's been 3 days since my haircut and I received so many compliments. My husband NEVER says anything about how I look, EVER!but he actually complimented my new look this time and that alone says a lot. I am very pleased and scheduled my color appointment soon. I plan on scheduling a facial and few other pampering treatments soon. Thank you!
