Run! This place is the complete opposite of the location in New Canaan. The staff is rushed and rude. After arriving for an appointment, the salon was nearly empty, two technicians very abruptly said "take color now". They hovered while me and my little one took a couple of minutes deciding which colors we wanted in what was the quickest decision ever made by someone under eight at lunchtime. With the same frustration and hurrying, one technician directed my little one to go off with them where we could not see each other. Both women were clearly annoyed when my daughter ducked behind me while I need time to pick a color audibly huffing and curt. In hindsight, this is was the point I should have turned and left, But then I would not be warning you about this place. When we sat at the table, the person working on my child said to me, "she won't let me cut". Yes, the six year old spoke up and didn't want her nails clipped. Filing little nails is complete reasonable and a decision which makes perfect if it makes the customer comfortable. Best part of a manicure is getting her nails filed. Add to the fact, clipping was not needed. This woman was very surprised a child had the ability to speak up for herself. The person working on me proceeded to "clip a hangnail" and cut off a large amount of skin from on two fingers. It took weeks for the pain to go away. When I pulled my hand back from the pain, she cleared huffed again after hurting me and making the side of my finger it was cut so low. This was the end of the worst manicure ever. 1 star solely for the woman who did my pedicure. This place advertises itself to be a place of "comfort peace and quiet" and couldn't be farther from that. Their own website touts a spa-like, warm atmosphere: "From the moment you enter our beautiful locations, you will immediately experience a refreshing difference. From a warm welcome to a cold beverage, every day is committed to creating an inviting and comfortable spa experience." Unfortunately I didn't experience any of that. From the moment I walked in, I could hear a couple of women cackling to each other at the back of the place, even though there are signs all over telling you to refrain from loud conversation. A gentle reminder from staff would have been great. Website advertises one price for things but in-store prices are higher. They lean HEAVY into trying to get you to do upgrades or add-on services. Lights are very bright/harsh. Was expecting more soothing atmosphere based on the website. And most importantly- I didn't see use of ANY sterilized metal cuticle nips or one-time use files. Callous scrubber was rinsed in pedicure water and put back in a basket/drawer. Cuticle nip also rinsed in pedicure water and put back in basket/drawer. Nail was used and put back. I will NEVER go back here and you shouldn't either. Atmosphere aside, the fact that nothing was sterilized and is used across god knows how many patrons, is incredibly alarming. read more

DO NOT GO HERE!!!!! If I could leave zero stars, I would. I went in about a week ago for gel tips with a design. The design came out pretty good and the starting price was 40 dollars for gel tips. They upcharged me 100 dollars for the design. I spent 140 dollars on my nails and I thought hey if they last then what's the big deal. WRONG. After 1 day, one of my nails chipped. After about a week, HALF of my nails popped off in WHOLE. That was 140 dollars down the drain, and I will not be returning. If you are looking for good quality gels or acrylics, there are many places within a three mile radius that will do a much better job. Look at Top Nails Bar in bedford hills. Needless to say I am extremely disappointed with the outcome of my visit there, and I will be taking my business elsewhere. read more

This place is over priced and scammy. Multiple times they've broken my nails while filing them only for me to then 'need' a $5 tip. They continuously find ways to charge you even if you've been a loyal customer- they have no loyalty to you. Save your $$ and go somewhere else. read more

Pretty sure the manicures I've had at Belle Visage are the best I've ever had. Super clean, very nice and patient staff, and incredible selection of colors. The lady who did my eyebrows today COMPLETELY messed them up. She cut off the ends of one so it is noticeably shorter and the shape of them is also uneven. It's an awful situation and I'm not going back for eyebrows anymore. read more

I picked this salon because I had a limited amount of time before an appointment and I was in desperate need of a manicure. I was pleasantly surprised with this little gem tucked in the corner of the Village Social parking lot. The place is much larger than it looks from the front door. It is very tastefully decorated. It was clean which is always a big consideration in a nail salon. It also smelled wonderful so it was a pleasure for all senses. My nail tech was very nice and did a wonderful job on my manicure. I've been a regular for years and they nickel and dime you for everything and ALWAYS try to upsell you (not nice when you're a loyal customer). They always screw you over with pricing and making you spend more money than you need to. My absolute favorite nail salon ever ever ever. They do an amazing job on mani/pedis (regular or gel), wax jobs, facials, massages, and more. I always recommend this place to all my family & friends. I've been getting my eyebrows done here for 7 years now, since high school. I have tried other waxing and threading places around Westchester & Michigan where I go to school, but none of them live up to my standards like Belle Visage does. My best friend will drive an hour to come visit me & get her mani/pedi here monthly. THAT'S how great this place is. Overall just fine. I made an appointment and when I checked in they took four people ahead of us while I was looking for my color, so we ended up waiting 15 mins, so why even make an appointment? I asked for the lavender pedicure, but they gave me the green tea, I feel they push the most expensive pedicure on you. We won't go back. The actual pedicure was good, service not so good. read more

Pedicure was done well but they upcharge you for EVERYTHING. A basic pedicure is $29 but any add on (callous remover, 10 minute massage, etc) were an additional $15 per service. The spa pedicures were also unreasonably priced. read more

I gave this place a try yesterday since my girl left from the nail salon that I normally go to in Katonah. I have to say I was presently surprised at how big this place is. I got pedi and Mani UV gel refill. The pedi was just okay, the girl gave me a menu to pick a service from, I said I just wanted a regular one then she kept pressing if I wanted 10 mins foot massage, I said okay but it definitely wasn't the best massage I'd gotten, and she charged me $44, definitely pricy. However, I'm giving a four star because of the UV gel refill I got. Jean was awesome! She mixed two gel colors to complement the gel color that I selected from CND, yes they use good quality products, Jean's work was just meticulous and my nails appeared as they are my own! Even though they are $10 more than my old place but it's worth it due to the quality work and product that they deliver. I will go back to see Jean for sure but don't think I would get Pedi again from the same girl, although she is super nice and sweet though. read more

I have been going to this salon for over 10 years. It is quiet, refined and peaceful. The people are nice as can be. The manicures and pedicures, waxing and massage are excellent, but, due to the distance from my home I primarily visit for facials. I get a monthly facial and waxing from Chris who is amazing. She is very kind - gentle with extractions and frank with needed treatments. I am never red or blotchy afterward but my skin is so much improved! They use primarily Darphin products which I find to be top quality. I send my friends and family members also! read more
