I've been to this salon twice now, and both times I've been overcharged for services I didn't ask for -- and it honestly feels like they hoped I wouldn't notice or question the bill. The first time, I called ahead to ask how much gel nails would be and was told $45. When I went in and got them done, the final bill was $120. When I asked why, I was told it was because I got chrome -- which I didn't. Then the story changed to it being because I received a massage. I was never asked if I wanted a massage, nor was I told it would cost extra -- let alone $80 extra. The second time, the same thing happened: services were added on that I didn't ask for, and when I questioned the total, she panicked, clearly realizing the mistake, and offered a discount for next time -- which doesn't make up for overcharging me in the moment. This place consistently adds on charges without transparency or consent and then can't get their story straight. I highly recommend getting your nails done elsewhere. You deserve to not be charged for services you didn't receive or ask for. read more

This was by far the most meticulous and amazing set I've ever had in a salon. Cindy took her time to consult with my concerns before we started. I am 9 months pregnant so being offered a massage by another nail tech while getting my nails done, I appreciated because I did not consider it originally. It wasn't a quick and lame massage hunny was getting all these knots out lol very worth it. Overall amazing amazing job I am so happy and I would definitely recommend this spot. I went to this salon with a friend who had a gift certificate. We both paid additional for quick dry. pay additional. My pedicure was so bad I had to go home and scrub my own heels and the quick dry did not dry for hours. It was still smudging five hours later after staying under the dryer. I will not go back. The person who gave the gift certificate never has a bad pedicure so I guess they save their food services for certain customers. read more

Their attention to detail is amazing and they always listen to you to make sure you leave with exactly what you want. I was in a hurry and popped in here one afternoon. The price for a pedicure is more money than any other place in town and they didn't do anything special. I thought more money more service. I even had to ask if the lady was going to give me a massage afterward. This usually comes standard. There were no massage jets in the pedicure bath. The foot and leg massage were brief. My feet hardly had a chance to soak before/during the service. The pedicure was fine. Again, nothing special for the price being more expensive. read more

I am new to the area and went here because all the good reviews, despite there being tons of nail salons in the area. I was a bit disappointed. First off: I am sick of feeling rushed when I'm trying to pick a color. This isn't the only nail salon that does it; but I have to live with this gel color for 3 weeks (due to my job), sonI want to really like it. I came in and had a friend meeting me for a pedi and she was about 5 minutes behind. I told them this thinking I could shuffle through the colors a bit longer but they pushed me over to a chair and I was half done by the time my friend arrived the 5 minutes later. The pedicure I asked for was a standard. I am unsure when a standard pedi became just a color change? I was done and scooted over to my chair for my mani in maybe 15 minutes flat. I then bid my friend farewell and I go to get my nails done. No finger soaking, hand massaging; nothing. I feel like this is supposed to be relaxing and I can't help but feel like I'm just cash being quickly pushed through the door. In the middle of getting my fingernails painted, another lady comes up behind me and starts massaging my back.. while I'm trying to keep my hands steady for the other lady painting. I get a very nice back massage which I did notice longer massages were included in higher priced packages but there where ladies laid in a chair while they received theirs and I was just sitting in my chair. I then am told I'm done, go to pay a whopping $78.00 not including tip. So the gel mani and regular polish pedi were $65.00 and they tacked on a $13.00 massage of which was not cleared or priced prior to me receiving it. I got home and noticed I had clear coat on the outside of all my nails and color gaps on the sides. My normal nail place in RI is higher end with complimentary drinks and a very nice new interior set up where I pay $60.00 for the same service and receive a complimentary back rub and full pedi with foot massage to boot. I always thought that it was higher priced than other places but now I realize how much was included in that price. Anyways, if this is the New York nail salon equivalent of a "basic economy" package and I just haven't gotten the memo being a newbie, then I guess I had higher standards going into it. This is my home away from home! I love coming here as it is very peaceful and not at all a factory. The ladies all know me by name and always make time for a manicure/pedicure. I typically get the Green Tea Spa pedicure and it is great! They take their time and are all perfectionists. Gel manicures are always my go to and their color selection is amazing. I always like to match my nails and toes and they always find a matching color for me (they even give great color recommendations too). Big and spacious. Clean and bright. TVs next to the row of pedicure chairs. And all the chairs are comfy. Everyone's nice. Suggest coming by when it's not so crazy busy, which is something you'll usually see on the weekends--especially in the morning. I went Thursday morning recently and the place was practically empty around 9:15. Worth it. They have paraffin wax here for hands and feet if you do one of the special pedis. Terrible eyelash experience!! The person who did my lashes had not washed her hands and had a terrible breath, and a cold but was not wearing a mask. On top of that my lashes were poorly done and I had to have them redone somewhere else as you almost couldn't see anything. I do my lashes since 7 years every single month and this is the worst experience I ever had and the most expensive one. I do understand it's something new for them and haven't done many but then they should explain upfront and charge less. I let the Manager know I was not happy but she didn't do anything about it. Had a very enjoyable experience here when getting a pedicure. I went at a slow time on a Tuesday morning and was treated like a King! In addition to the lady doing the pedicure itself, I had another lady massaging my wrists and arms. Afterwards I decided to have a 20 minute chair massage, which was also excellent.
