The manicure was one of the best I have ever gotten... have no complaints about the services. However there was a $75 up charge for getting gel polish for my pedicure that was not disclosed until it was time to PAY! It is a ridiculous charge for a gel pedi. I went in for a massage and when I dropped an earring, the girl immediately scooped something up I asked for the earring back and she said she was picking something else up off the floor. I spent the next half hour with bright lights on looking and looking and I couldn't find my sapphire earring. I went to the jewelers to replace one earring...$4800.00 In summary - that was the most expensive massage I ever had. They really are dishonest and I wouldn't recommend going there. Nail technician (April) squirted acetone all over me ruining my black clothes entirely. I was upset, but accidents happen so didn't make a big deal out of it. Five minutes later she cut my finger with the file. I've been getting my nails done for two decades and this has happened to me less than a handful of times. This technician was clearly very inept. The front desk staff offered a $10 coupon. That is offensive as it doesn't even cover a dry cleaning bill for the clothes the technician ruined. Overall, a very bad experience. Absolutely horrible. I have been getting powdered nails for ages but thought I would try this salon. The nail tech did not have a clue what she was doing. It took her 1-1/2 hours when it should have only taken 30 minutes. Day three and my nails are all chipped and the top coat is clumped in areas. That's what $80 gets you at this salon. This salon is beautifully appointed and clean. All of the service providers are courteous, professional, and highly skilled. I had received a gift certificate for a massage for my birthday. I was lucky enough to have Madison as my massage therapist. Best birthday gift ever! She got rid of my shoulder and neck pain-she applies pressure based upon the needs and wants of her clients. She is a massage artisan-she is highly knowledgeable about the muscles in the body and their interaction so she is able to individually tailor massages to her clients' needs. She insists on educating herself in order to provide the best service to her clients. And she does. Massages are not the only skill set in Madison's wheelbarrow. She also does facials! Her facials are just as amazing as her massages-I couldn't believe it! You will walk out of the salon looking at least 10 years younger. My friend paid an additional $8 for a gel based formula and on day 1, it all peeled off. The nail polish was not very good and we were not pleased. See attached photos. There were only two nails remaining after she showered. I've never seen nail polish peel off so quickly. I suspect the quality and authenticity of the nail polish and unfortunately can't say that I would recommend it to others. There also wasn't any attention to detail with my technician. She never offered to clean up my cuticles, rushes the paint job (hence, bumps in my polish), and went straight to painting without much prep to the nails. It was super fast. Awful. Worst experience ever. Had gel extension done and they took 2+ hours, tore the skin off one of my fingers and I eventually gave up, never even got polish on my nails but couldn't keep sitting there so I got up to leave. When I confronted the manager about the poor service she accused me of ripping my own skin off and tried to charge me $90. She was so rude and when I said I just wanted to go home and gave her my card she yelled at me that she wouldn't charge me but never come back! Horrible place. Avoid at all costs. read more

Love Posh Spa! I go here regularly for pedicures and manicures and it's my favorite place to get pampered and completely destress for 1 to 2 hours. Their nail polish selection is awesome. They even have Zoya and Deborah Lippmann (two of my favorite cruelty free brands) and their massage chairs are to die for. They have a variety of pedicures to choose from (green tea, gold, lavender) and they do an amazing hot stone foot massage with the pedicures. Some of their pedicurists are hit or miss but overall the nail techs are attentive and listen to you. The space is also incredibly clean and sterile which is very important to me. read more

The massage therapist, Madison, at Posh in Greenwich is wonderful. I travel from several towns away just to see Madison once a quarter as she is so good and skilled at what she does. I had to stop the nail tech assigned to me mid pedicure and request someone with more experience after he left me with a deep cut after snipping my skin. He kept telling me to "relax" and dip my open wounded bloody toe back into the foot bath laced with the scrub that is poured in. Another nail tech who observed his skills watched in horror. My fiancé and I went to Stamford CT to celebrate our engagement from Long island. Looking for a spa relaxing experience while doing some research around Stamford we could find any spas with good reviews, or had time for us. We came across Posh in Greenwich and without hesitation we made appointments for couple massages and facials. They had a package for couples. When I say, it was the BEST thing we did all weekend. I had a wonderful experience at this beautiful and clean spa. Walking in, you have to go downstairs and through a long al before you are greeted, which was cool with me because it made it seem exclusive. The receptionist was friendly and asked if I had an appointment (which I was able to make via phone a half hour beforehand). I believe Zoya was the name of my technician who gave me a beautiful pedicure. Everything was perfect and she was super friendly. I have been going to Posh in Darien for Years. I always make an appointment for what every services I require. The last time I went my appointment was not honored and I had to see another nail tech. Today I had An and received and call if they can change my appointment . Ok , No problem. When I show up for the appointed time the appointment is not honored again. I didn't bother having any of my services done. I walked. First because last time my nails were done very poorly and second because you asked me to change the appointment so I could have who I wanted. Pre-pandemic I went to Posh in Greenwich weekly. I always got 2 services (mani + pedi, spa pedi, eyelashes, facial or massage. I would have given the Spa 4 , but due to my first post-pandemic experience, it dropped way down due to their dishonesty. I recently went for the first time since the end of Feb 2020. I couldn't wait! Prior to the pandemic, I purchased a package (5 facials + 5 massages; and 10 each of 2 different type of pedicures, manicures and lashes -- easily $2K+ in total for upcoming services. When it came time to pay for the mani + pedi, I was shocked to be told that I had NO pre-paid services. Hmm, how did the information disappear from the computer file under my name; which was always accurate?? I've been a client since the spa opened a number of years ago and never had a single issue keeping track of the services! Unfortunately, the former Manager, Tracy, who was welcoming, had the most amazing memory and always handled issues professionally is no longer there (?). I was given a gift card, several years ago, to this salon. When I arrived today, I explained I had a gift card but not sure how much $ it was for (it said "Mani/Pedi"). I was told not to worry, they would look at it at the end of the appointment. After my manicure, I presented the gift card and was told it was too old. There had been an ownership change and they would not honor this. I explained there was not expiration date on the gift card, and how was I supposed to know there was new ownership? They would not budge, no discount, nothing. I paid and tipped but will never go there again. If you are new owners, you need to honor gift cards from prior owner. They refused to see it from my point of view or acknowledge that I had asked them to look into the card amount when I first arrived. read more

Very large and clean space. Lots of room for customers so it doesn't feel cramped, despite the lack of windows. Had a great pedicure here. Really enjoyed the massage while my toes were drying too. I've gotten great massages here before but have more recently been coming by for skilled gel manicures. You don't really need to make an appointment and there is never really a wait. They have a LARGE choice of gel colors and brand that go beyond the standard Shellac/Essie. Many of the technicians here are have awesome nails themselves and are true artists. They take their time and are able to do designs and all sorts of nail art with ease (check their Instagram for ideas). I especially like getting the chrome style, glittery French manicure and even more specific designs on the ringer finger. Gel manis are quick and fast but done with detail so they are still long lasting. Michelle, Reina are great manicurists. They also do powder gel I believe which isn't everywhere. The pedicures are great too... the area is nice and clean with big cushy chairs. Gel mani is $40 and sometimes you get a complimentary shoulder massage, think it's +$7 for designs. Not the cheapest place to go around town but worth going if you need a good job for a special event. read more

I am so glad Posh Spa finally followed me to Greenwich! I was a loyal customer of Posh in Westport for more than 10 years until relocating to Greenwich. I can safely say I have tried just about every salon here and never found an equivalent substitute for Posh. Specifically I'm reviewing the pedicure I got here five days ago. It was not an enjoyable experience at all. She used folded tissue instead of toe separators, questioned the length and shape that I wanted my toe nail, then ended up barely snipping any toe nail and cuticle. If she used top coat at all (which I doubt) then it was a very cheap one. My toe nails looked so rubbish after three days. I was made to put on cheap flip flops at the end which I left behind. No thanks. Avoid this place if what you have in mind is a treat for you feet and a good quality pedicure. Sorry Posh, you need to try harder. read more

At first, this place seemed great. Really sanitary, they fit two friends and me in for pedicures right away and sat us in a lovely private room. The pedicure itself was awful. For $80 my feet got rubbed, not massaged, I could not smell any coconut, when I left my feet were still very hard and dry, she missed glitter on one of my toes, the next day my legs peeled (never done that before), when I got my receipt it was $10 more dollars then I could have sworn the menu had said, then I had to pay the tip in cash and my feet were achy afterward. My friends seemed satisfied with the pedis. I was not and this pedicure was not worth anything close to $80. read more

Please boycott this salon. I tried today to make an appointment today for manicures and pedicures for myself and my daughter. The salon advised that after my daughter services were completed she must stand outside by herself. I advised the salon she was 7 but they insisted so I cancelled the appointment. Not safe for a child be outside alone, period! We were getting services at exact same time so completion time between should have been close. She usually dries her nails while I finish mine. This salon has demonstrated they do not care about there customers nor their safety. Very SAD and I'm furious! read more

I have gotten manicures for over 25 years and my regular manicurist was booked. I decided to try Posh for the second time to see if it was any better than my first. My experience was extremely disappointing. When I sat down to get my nails done I was asked if I wanted a massage. Little did I know it was an extra charge. This is the first nail salon that hasn't offered a massage with a manicure. The worst part was that I wasn't even informed. Manicure was so short and the woman was clearly rushing. She even used her own cuticle clippers from her apron pocket rather than the ones that had been sanitized. Needless to say, this was not a good experience or relaxing! read more

This very well might be the most professional, luxurious and clean nail salon I've been too. I had UV gels extensions put on for the first time in years!! I then had gel polish with chrome powder applied. My technician was knowledgeable and friendly. It's absolutely gorgeous inside. You must give them a try!!
