Great prices, service. Perfect neighborhood nail salon always clean and have availability

Awful awful experience. I went in and they told me that removal of my polish was $20. She rushed at the end leaving my nails crooked and not filed evenly. I asked her to please not rush just because another client without an appointment just walked in. Then, at the end of my appointment which lasted 15 mins because she rushed, they tried to charge me $25 for the removal. I told them they said $20 at the start of the appointment. She finally gave me the price they originally said after fighting with me on it for several minutes. Really awful service and deceptive pricing practices. Beware! They did not put lotion or anything on my nails or oil afterwards to help with how scratched they were from the speed filing. Yikes. read more

Great service, always prompt and clean. The mini back massages during manis/ pedis are great, too.

extremely over priced and the pedicure was sub par. I was charged 75 for the pedicure , my choice, and an additional 30 for gel. outrageous upcharge for gel when I already paid 75 read more

Just set up a Yelp profile to share my recent Mother's Day weekend nail salon experience--it was absolutely perfect and so relaxing! Joy comes highly recommended! read more

I felt duped, deceived, and incredibly disappointed after going to Muse for the first time. I asked for a powder dip manicure and the technician told me I should do gel since it would last longer. I agreed thinking it would be a similar price / process to what I was used to. Two and a half hours later, the technician misled me and ended up doing plexigel on my nails and charged me $120! I am not joking. The gel was poorly shaped to my nails and left big gaps on the underside of my nails - I ended up getting it removed the next day. Such a waste of money. read more

Muse Nails & Spa - Nail Salons Near Me - Greenwich, Connecticut

i have been going to Muse Spa for several years and i really like it. it is very clean, and they always have soft music that is relaxing. The attendants are all very experienced and do a good job. My nails have improved since i started coming here, and i look forward to going there every week. Rosita F. read more

Highly extensive nail color collection, always clean. Good service. Nice tough massages. Idk where the bad reviews come from. read more

Great manicure/ pedicure. Pricey but then again it's in Greenwich. $78 with tip. Yikes. Lol read more

They will get a star from me only because the salon looks clean, nice and welcoming. Besides that it is way too expensive for the services that they provide, for the skills that they have to do their job professionally. They don't know what they are doing! They don't know all the steps that they have to follow for a nail construction and even if they do know they will not respect that. Because of that my gel nails fell within a week. Horrible!!! And for all that time that I wasted there and all the money($116+$20 tips) that I spent to have this result coming, I will give them no recommendations! In the last 12 years I've had lots of nail gel constructions but never ever had them fall down in a week. Horrible! read more

Over priced & bad quality nails. Got my nails done and within 2 days the nail dip powder chipped off and my nail broke off. Nothing in their store is organic, so don't be fooled by "organic" nothing that comes in bulk from another country is purely organic. Take your chances if you want since there sooo many mixed reviews... read more

Don't bother making an appointment, they do not honor them and basically ignore you. Rude. Will not be back

Honest review. I had calls the day before to figure out pricing before selecting the salon. I wanted to go to for my gel fill-in because the salon I go to at home was too far and I am in Greenwich for the week. I was told my gel fill-in would be $65 so the next morning I called and booked my appointment. I get to the salon and get seated. I felt a little rushed when trying to figure out what color I wanted and now I'm sitting. The massage guy comes over to me and is asking me if I want a massage and I said no thank you and he was still trying to push me to get one so at this point I'm annoyed. When I get up and go to pay, the woman doing my nails says OK can you pay me now and I haven't even sat up yet, only to be told it's $85. I told her how she told me the original pricing would be $65 and instead she tried blaming me for how grown out my nails were (2.5 weeks and she goes oh we do every 2 weeks), told me it was $10 for color? And that made zero sense because I asked her clearly how much a gel fill in would be. Taking advantage of a young and new client - I will NEVER go back there. To be lied to and beat for money is not fair. read more

I was not happy with the service. They only put 1 coat of nail polish vs 2. They didn't clean my nail beds either.

Nice enough place, just don't get there after 5pm. They close at 7 and will rush, do a sloppy job, then cheat you out of services you paid for because they want to go home. My wife had a terrible experience there... read more

I guess they never saw a guy coming to get a pedicure they are very unprofessional and did not understand my English on top of that I asked for a regular pedicure and making me one of them that was $95 when I went to pay they said my total balance was $115 I said how they said because I agreed to get a special pedicure but I never agreed on that I asked them for a regular not the one that was $95 they charge my card and I told him what they're doing is wrong they did not have my consent to charge me whatever they felt like read more

Very rude when I walked in. The nail technician didn't speak to me at all while she was doing my nails and then she tricked me into picking out a $50 gel manicure! She didn't tell me there was a $40 and $45 option she only showed me the $50. Needless to say, I fought back and only paid $40. Not happy and not going back. read more

Still super happy with this place, as nothing has changed. Mani/pedi is still $35 and still awesome. This time, when my mother was having trouble picking a color, the manicurist came over and made suggestions and tried it out so my mother could see what she really wanted. read more

Today was my second time at Muse. I think that it's a nice place, but the prices are just a smidge too high for it being a slightly above average nail salon. I guess they can charge that because they're in Greenwich. The nail salon area is very tidy & clean. The nail polish colors are very neatly organized by color. When you walk in, they give you a basket for your goodies to go in (purse, reading material, water bottle, etc.) & then carry it to your chair for you. Magazines are laid out on a counter. Several tv's from every viewing angle have closed captioning so you know what they're saying. The specialty pedicure treatments are all in their own labeled baskets that the technician brings to your chair. Today there were 2 women getting pedis who were wearing skirts & the ladies made a point of giving them a towel to put over their laps for privacy. My husband gave me a gift certificate for Christmas so I went today to use part of it. I will go back again & maybe try a mani to see how that is. read more

I have been going to Muse for several years and highly recommend. The staff is friendly, courteous, and take the extra step to make you comfortable. The spa is clean, sanitized and they follow Covid guidelines for safety. I get great mani/pedis, back massage, and eyelash extensions. You can make an appointment or walk-in. A great place! read more

I just left here after desperately needing a manicure, and it was pretty horrific. I went with my sister at 6pm and they close at 7 I requested a manicure my sister wanted both mani pedi but they said no no time for manicure just get a pedicure. So that she did. Mind you the nail salon had more then enough time to accommodate her getting both with more then enough free nail techs but they still denied her getting the manicure. My nail tech was was sloppy and rude, my nails are not filed straight and she did not paint the edges of my nails and didn't remove my cuticles as I asked twice. The owner did not seem to care as she rushed us out. Needless to say I won't be back. read more

I just popped up there without a reservation, but I was greeted by warm smiles. I have done a gel Nail and a regular pedi and im really satisfy with the outcome. read more

I popped in here today for the first time and didn't have an appt. I was greeted with a smile and seated right away for pedi. It was simple but wonderful. I LOVED the paraffin treatment on my heels at the end! Then I had my nails done with gel. Amy did an amazing job! I loved the glove/lotion treatment at the end too! Very clean well run place! Thank you!! read more

I've been a couple of times now and have no complaints! Im confused on why there are bad reviews here. I have been to a bunch of places in the area for SNS and some places have been really bad. They did a great job! read more

Love Amy! She is super and gives a great manicure and pedicure! All of the technicians are very nice and friendly.

Do not get waxing services here. I had a terrible experience. The wax was scalding hot--hotter than any other salon I've been to. Furthermore, I had an allergic reaction to the product. I can't speak for their other services, but waxing should be avoided until they review their product and methods. With that said, the staff was very warm, sincere and apologetic when contacted about this issue. read more

Came here for a spa pedicure. Chairs were big, clean, and comfortable. The pedicure itself was also great- I chose the green tea spa pedicure which indluced a 10 min back massage and foot reflexology. They also had a great OPI nail polish selection, and application was clean and looks smooth and shiny. Price seems adequate for services provided read more

Love the ladies at Muse! Yes, they're a little on the pricier side but I'd rather pay a little extra and know that they use new files and buffers each time. The place is super clean and I never feel rushed. Sunny is the sweetest. Amy is the best and my go to for gel manicures/extensions. read more

Great service. Very friendly but not pushy. Everything looked clean and beautiful. I had a manicure pedicure with May. Excellent. She did exactly what I explained to her. The music is nice, lots of great magazines and very comfortable chairs. Thank you! Highly recommend it. read more

In the last 2 years, this has been my go to salon every time I visit my parents in Greenwich. Just this past year, it seems like they have changed ownership and under the new management, customer service has really improved and they have made some changes for a better experience. For example, the pedi tubs have disposable liners and the filers are all one time use. The place is extremely clean and the people are always friendly. Sometimes, I am indecisive on the colors and they would help with suggestions. They offer a large varieties of services and I could never get away without at least a 10 mins shoulder massage. If you don't have an appointment, the wait is never long and they even offer you small bottles of water while you wait! Overall, I am glad for the new management and happy to have this close to my parent's place. read more

Went here to check out the spa for a mani-pedi. The place was nice and quiet and the customer service was terrific. They even had complimentary shoulder and arm massage while you're waiting for your nails to dry. However, my nail color is already starting to chip. This place is a nice alternative to the busy salons along the avenue. read more

This place is excellent. Clean. Comfortable and they gave me a free massage. There is a huge flat screen and it is really nice inside.

It was a great experience that i had done my nails and pedi at the muse spa!! Thanks for the great job!!

Not as nice as I was expecting. Had a 6 pm appt and we were rushed out at 7:10 since they close at 7. Nails started chipping after 3 days. Not impressed. read more

I give one star for the exceptional cleanliness in the place. I give negative stars for the high prices she now charges. What happened to this place?? BIG DISAPPOINTMENT!! Used to be down to earth and a great place for a regular manicure and time to relax. Now, they carry minimal regular polishes that are old, stale, and dated in color. You don't know until you walk in and they push you to get vinyl, saying it lasts longer and is better (her vinyl polishes are not the latest and greatest in 2021 colors either) or they push to get a gel, both at additional costs. She raised all her prices AGAIN! $3 more for a regular manicure for the old colors and stale polishes she offers is insane!!! They are notorious for pushing MANY extras or to get an expensive spa pedicure package, but when you refuse, and ask for a regular pedicure, they rush the job and give an attitude!!! A regular pedicure is the same cost for both a mani/pedi at any other nail salon . JUST TERRIBLE! It's gotten to be a place where prices are constantly changing and regular manicures or pedicures are not favored. Not the place it once was. read more

The decor is pretty, as the other reviews state but the quality of the work is sub-standard. I got a full set of UV gel french nails and wihtin days 4 nails broke. I have been getting the UV gel nails for over 8 years and this has never happened before. the pedicure chipped within day as well. Also, has never happened before. I gave them a try but will not be back. They are "all show" and "no go!" read more

I recently moved to Greenwich, went here bc I needed to find a new place (moved from NYC). I had two good experiences with them then the last two were terrible. The staff is very nice, clean place with a feel good vibe but my powder gels fell off after 1 week! I complained the first time, they offered to redo them for free, then that new set fell off within a week also. The place I went in the West Village of NYC would last until they grew out so much I had to get them done... That said I can't go here again. The staff really is nice but they do a poor job. read more

Wonderful nail salon! My manacurist "Rumi" is fantastic ... Everyone is super friendly and place is always clean and neat!

After being a loyal customer since salon opened, I regrettably find the salon being taken in the wrong direction. Quality of UV gel nails is sub standard as prices have risen . Gone are original nail techs. So guess will be looking for a new salon :(( read more

This place was ridiculous, it was a very lacking and disappointing manicure. I didn't even get moisturizer on my hands, and it took incredibly long. My friend and I went together for gel manis, and for both of us they painted two nails at a time and then put the whole hand under uv lamps, there was a lot of waiting. When she put the final clear coat on she did all 5 at a time and I put it under the lamp, and as soon as I left I realized the clear layer didn't harden under the lamp and was a sticky glue texture. I had to go home and use polish remover to take off the top layer. When we went to pay, the woman told us how much to tip while she was swiping my debit card, she did not wait for me to tell her, and took the liberty of including a large tip for each of the manicurists. The total for two gel manicures was $80. And I got a 10 min massage that cost $15. this was not including tip. What a rip off. read more
