I've been going to the Westport location for years, and now that the Greenwich location is open, consider yourselves super lucky, Southern Fairfield County!!! When I first went to the Waxing Spot, I had never gotten a wax before, so I was pretty nervous! I had my first appointment with Amanda and she was just the best! She is so warm, friendly, personable, and professional, and she completely put me at ease. She answered all my questions and made the experience quite pleasant! We were laughing and talking like old friends by the end of our appointment, and I was feeling so great about my experience! I have been a client of The Waxing Spot (started out at the original Westport location) since 2013 and I would never even consider going anywhere else for any of my waxing needs. So as a guy it's very intimidating to get anything waxed, well I decided to clean up my eyebrows and get my shoulders, and honestly, this was the most comfortable experience possible. The girls were the definition of professionalism, and they had these different type of waxes that were better for different parts of the body, don't ask me to explain, all I could say is, they made an uneasy situation, actually pleasant. What a fantastic group! Where do I even begin? I have been a client of The Waxing Spot in Westport since 2010 for Brazilian Bikini. I recently started going to the Greenwich location. Just like the Westport location, what really stands out is how clean and hygienic they are. You will never see them double dipping a wax applicator like in other places. That is simply unacceptable. The rooms are clean, bright and fully equipped with a variety of waxes for all skin types and hair texture. Best place for a wax, hands down. They really do strive to do the best job possible to ensure that you get the results you want. All the Brazilians that I've gotten have always been perfectly smooth and hair-free. I also have my eyebrows done here. Love Waxing Spot! I've been going to the Westport location since 2010.The second location in Greenwich is beautiful and clean, just like Westport. Rosemery and Veri train everyone that works at both locations - from the receptionists to the waxers. They want to make sure everyone has a good experience. The receptionists are all so sweet and friendly, and they are always accommodating if you ever need to change an appointment. Went there for an eyebrow wax. I'd been going someplace else, and they always took my naturally thicker brows and made them too thin (think sperm brows). I really just wanted them to have a shape and be cleaned up. When I called to make the appointment and the receptionist was so nice! She answered all of my questions (I had quite a few) and booked me with Amanda. Amanda is so great! She heard what I wanted and took her time, tweezing and waxing. I said I did not want a deep tissue massage. She said it's very good for you. I said I booked a Swedish. (I have been a fan of Swedish for years.) Then I said, please don't massage my hands, I have arthritis caused by my cancer drug. (You folks with estrogen positive cancer know which drug.) --She sprang back as if she'd burned her hands. She said, "You have cancer, you have ACTIVE cancer!!" Totally puzzled, I said, "I am a cancer patient, yes. It's not contagious." She then refused to continue. She left the room. I'm there on the table, naked and alone. Vulnerable in more ways than one. I got up and put on a robe, then headed for the front desk/lectern. There she was pestering the hosts. I looked at the hosts and said, "Probably 1 out of 3 of the women clients here have cancer or have had cancer. It's not contagious!" Hosts talked me back into going into the room with the dim chicken message therapist. But the experience was absolutely ruined. By that time I was 100x more anxious than when I walked in. I still paid because I felt too emotional and vulnerable to be angry and leave. NEVER, EVER GOING BACK, though. And I am warning you about the low mental level of therapists working there. I am not asking for genius, just common sense. Who would treat a cancer patient like that?

I normally don't write reviews but I am going to make an exception this time…read more I have been going to this salon for over 20 years under different owners and never once had any issues. I have noticed on several occasions that this new owner is not very welcoming and always seems upset and rude to certain customers ( people paying hundreds of dollars) get more respect than people paying $60. As an owner of a company you should treat everyone with respect regardless of how much they spend.
