Decent place to get a manicure, pedicure, or both. There is free outdoor parking in front. However, it's in a mini mall that also has two popular casual restaurants so parking can sometimes be a problem. No massage chairs but lots of comfy chairs. Sometimes there is a wait but it's usually not too long. They have the TV on with subtitles which is fun to watch while you get your nails done. They have a large selection of nail polish on the wall to choose from. My favorite brand for a manicure is Essie's line of neutral colors and they always have them available. My go to is Ballet Slipper. I also like Mademoiselle. This time I tried Skinny Dip. I can't find their prices listed online but the prices have gone up from what's listed on Yelp and from what they were a few years ago. I got a basic manicure with no extras and it cost $20 before tip. I inquired about a basic pedicure which is $22. Mani/pedi is $42. On the wall it said a 10 minute massage is $12. My nails were so bad that I was trying to hide them all the time. I kept telling my husband I was desperate for a mani pedi. Finally he snapped at me, "Go. I'm getting tired of hearing about it. I'll drive you." So I chose to get a mani pedi here. I took a chance and walked in rather than make an appointment and, luckily, was seated immediately. The salon is clean and the women are very pleasant. I brought my own polish but decided to use one of theirs. They have a good selection of decent polish - OPI, etc. Paula did my simple manicure. As a gardener who often forgoes her gloves, my hands can be a challenge. This time, I had neglected my digits for several weeks, so imagine. I didn't have to say, "Push don't cut." Paula just pushed immediately. I am happy with the job she did and will definitely ask for her service again. Susan worked on my feet which have been covered since November. She really had her work cut out for her with callouses and ingrown toenails, rough patches on the heels and balls of my feet. Well not only did she remove all the neglected bits but smoothed out my troll feet so beautifully, I would wear sandals now if it were warm enough. Whereas in other salons, I've felt the upselling is a bit much, here the extra services are offered and there's no attitude if you decline. Very nice. In addition to being expert at their craft, Susan and Paula were gentle in their practice. I also splurged on a 10 minute foot massage. Do it! You will not be disappointed. I've had a few terrible experiences here but today was the worst and I won't be going back. The other two times I've been here I've had subpar manicured and pedicures. However today the nail technician tried to use used nail tools on me. I requested she bring a sealed clean pack of tools from the tool cleaning machine to confirm they've been sanitized. Instead of complying she got angry and said she didn't have clean tools and that she just cleaned hers with alcohol. This is how nail fungus spreads between clients when tools aren't properly sanitized and heated in the cleaning machine. She then got up and went to help the next person with those same tools! I left and won't be coming back. read more

After 3 days my nails started peeling. I got my mani on Wednesday afternoon and by Saturday night a full nail peeled off while on vacation. This manicure is not even 16 hours old and it looks 3 days old. After watching her polish with that tap tap tap polish method NEVER DRAGGING THE POLISH FULLY to the end of the nail, just on top and in the middle, my nails were predictably not good. They were worse once I hit natural light outside - with obvious new hangnails and imperfections in the cuticle, AND nail polish and top coat all over the place. I actually did the horrifying thing (IYKYK) where you walk back in a nail salon to a nail salon and express your unhappiness. They didn't get superrrr annoyed with me which was nice but it sincerely would have been great if she got it closer to right the first time. She snipped the few hangnails she created, added a layer of polish (STILL didn't cap the tips though I directly asked) - plus a top coat again, and the second time around she did actually use a detail brush and acetone to clean up all the mistakes from the first and next layer. They were REALLY messy. Essentially this was a polish change and not a good one. The other clients in the building seemed to be loving everything so I guess I just got the not good tech perhaps? This was a terrible experience. They charged me $10 more than the price that was pictured because I have "long" nails. I politely had asked for the woman to file my nails because I wanted to keep the length I had but she used the nail buffer to "file" them which left them all uneven.
