I have been coming here for at least 2 years now. I have always had a good experience. The owner Sarah is very kind and has great customer service. Unfortunately, I had the worst experience with their texhnician, Nancy. She was so rude and unprofessional! She rushed my daughter and I during our initial visit with her and was very rude to us. Her manicure was horrible and when we returned for her to fix it, per Sarah's offer, she was horribly rude to us and told us that she never wants to see us again. The cuticle care was not there, I left without having a proper manicure and pedicure done. Would give zero but will give 1 star because at least the manicurist was nice. I came in with my husband on a Monday afternoon for gel manicures for our vacation. By Tuesday afternoon (the day before Christmas) the gel had already started peeling. I called Bellacures and they said they could fix the chipped nail on Thursday. After coming back to the salon on Thursday, I noticed that the gel started peeling AGAIN this time on multiple fingers 2 days later. I once again called the salon and they again just told me to come back in for another fix next Monday. At this point I have no confidence in their capabilities to fix my manicure. I don't even think it's worth going back for another fix. For a $55 gel manicure, it should NOT be chipping and peeling less than 24 hours later. Very disappointing to have to go on vacation with nails that look mediocre at best. read more

Don't go there if you want to keep your nails! I went there for a few months; this office is close to my office and convenient. I did gel manicure. Over the course of these few months, between removing the gel and filing, they filed my nails pretty much to the meat. My nails are cracking and breaking while being very short. It's not the best place I've ever visited, but sometimes it's just a place you can count on to have the job done properly. That makes them five star. TL;DR: Beautiful work but ASK FOR PRICING, EVEN THOUGH IT IS LISTED. Only reason I took off 2 stars. My review would be perfect if I was only reviewing the work & service. The manicurists are very professional skilled, and the amenities such as free champagne & canned sparkling water in very comfortable chairs. I have a picture attached of work I had done and it came out looking perfect. However, I did not feel that they were upfront about pricing, of which I have attached a receipt. I was told that my nails totaled $120. I knew that the gel builder fill would be $55 and that my encapsulated nail would be $10. Even so, I thought that my nails would be $90 at most. However. The gel polish was an extra $25, but I was not asked if I wanted gel. If it was necessary I would have understand them making that choice for me, but I asked after if it was necessary for my gel builder fill and encapsulation and they said no...so...why wasn't I asked if that's what I wanted?? Additionally, the stones said $5/per on the box, so I avoided adding those because that's quite pricey. My tech offered to add them for free. The nail stickers I received say nothing in their box so I thought maybe there'd be a small charge for their application, thinking that the listed nail art price referred to hand drawn art, which was why I would've understood a $90 charge instead of the $65 I expected. However, they were $3/nail. That makes $55 worth of add-ons that I wasn't expecting. I've never been to a salon that charges per finger or per sticker it's always a flat fee. These stickers themselves cost $1/sheet. Even if I totally excuse the sticker pricing, I wasn't asked about the gel polish and that is 20% of my total. read more

Cute aesthetic, friendly staff, but poor manicure. Our friend chose this salon for an extra special experience since we were part of a bridal party and wanted to make the day memorable for her. While the staff was very friendly and accommodating to our group, we went for manicures first and foremost. I left extremely disappointed with my mani. My artist rushed through my manicure and immediately went to dedicate her time to a new client. I'm not sure if she was a regular or someone who demanded to be helped right away, but I was given a sloppy manicure in order for her to help the next client. I understand efficiency is important in a busy salon but when you charge $35+ tip for your standard manicure, I expect it to look decent. My cuticles were barely cleaned up, the dead skin around my nails wasn't cleaned up at all, the hot towel wrap barely lasted on one hand and not at all on the other, and she didn't apply enough coats to properly cover my nail. She didn't even ask before she rushed and slapped the top coat on me. She kept asking me to add upgrades to my manicure but when she saw I wasn't interested, she probably figured I wasn't worth wasting any time on. I am extremely dissatisfied and won't be coming back. My usual place is 20 dollars and my hands always look pristine when I leave because they take the time to make sure it's done right. read more

Management is complicit in discriminatory practices. I had an experience at this salon over two visits that leads me to believe that not only do some of the nail techs discriminate on who they see as clients the management/staff is complicit in these practices. On my first visit related to this experience, I requested Lana because I had been there before and it seemed she was proficient and fast. From the moment I sat down and almost the entire time she kept on telling me how I should go back to the person who I went to before. She kept asking me why I requested her and why I left the other manicurist. I asked her if they were friends and she said yes. I didn't think much of it and figured maybe she was being protective of her friend. I decided to book her friend for my pedicure the next time and Lana again for my manicure. Being mindful that she seemed concerned about me leaving her friend as a client. The second time, I returned Lana started off trying to use the buffer machine on my natural nails. When I told her I did not want it used on my nails she told me it would be faster because she had other clients to tend to. Then she told me she did not know how to file my nails the way I wanted them and that another tech would be better. I was quiet and allowed her to continue with my manicure. She kept going and said next time you should go see, let's call her Mary. She said Mary is really good at this shape, i don't know how to do it. Again, I must stress she did my nails two weeks earlier the way I wanted it. She continued, I can't do it, I am going to have Mary file your nails for you. She called Mary over and asked her to 'help' her file my nails. At this point, I felt harassed and just wanted my nails to be finished. While Mary filed my nails she raved about how professional she was and I should go to her next time. The other young lady while she did a great job was not who I requested and I felt like I was being pushed to another nail tech as if this technician did not want to do my nails. To make it even weirder, I am a Black woman and Mary is also a Black woman. I have never seen her before and I've been going to the salon for a few months. The communication to me seems to be send all the Black women to the Black nail tech. I shared my concerns with the staff just as I shared it here. Her response was "I am sorry you feel that way but Lana likes to ask Mary for help when there is a nail fix." I reminded her that I did not request a nail fix and Lana did my nails before just fine, I was a return customer. She offered me 10% off and said that was all that she could do because the manager was not there but she would tell the manager when she returned. 4 days have gone by and the manager has not followed up with me. The staff member's response coupled with the manager's lack of follow up leads me to the conclusion that they are complicit in this behavior. I made it very clear that I felt discriminated against and if management has a zero tolerance policy this would have been handled very differently. Whatever ethnicity or race or gender you are, if you are interested in supporting inclusive businesses DO NOT come here or return here if you've already been. read more
