She is an absolute sweetheart, makes you feel completely comfortable, and is truly a master at what she does. At this point, I genuinely cannot imagine letting anyone else wax me. Arina is my girl!! She has been doing my Brazilian waxes for a few months now and she does not miss. Sucks that I never got a response. Wanted to get a service, saw the website only allows appointments to be made via phone only. Called during working hours only to get told to text the phone number to ask for an appointment. Still never heard back from anyone till this day. My thing is why even have it posted that your open, and work by appointment only but don't respond to new potiential customers. If you aren't accepting, or closed business, etc you should update your site/social media, to spare other people from getting their time wasted. read more

Arina ALWAYS does a good job. I usually get the Brazilian when I go in - clean slate every time. She's pretty quick at it too and I feel the price is very reasonable. I got waxed by Sophia! She was so sweet & made me feel so comfortable! If you have stubble she'll try her best to get rid of them. She checks on you in the middle of the waxing to make sure you're okay so if you're not, speak up! Don't just sit there, say nothing & leave a bad review when you leave. Ok let's cut to the chase Arina is a waxer extraordinaire seriously people she's ALLSTATE the good hands lady. Slather me up rip it off all the while chatting me up and cracking me up. She's a dominatrix waxing rockstar and truly a pleasure albeit some pain involved to work with. Just kidding well maybe not lol 5 stars I received a Bday waxing gift. which really made me think wait I'm not a chia pet or a giant fur ball. I mean I groom and manscape sorry but it's relevant information lol So what's the deal. In all honesty I have been waxed over the years with a little on my upper back and eyebrows. But like I said the nether regions are well manicured and freshly groomed on a regular basis. Nevertheless I loved the gift as my upper back was a little fuzzy and Arina did me up. I mean seriously (20) minutes later slam bam thank you ma'am I'm clean as a baby's bottom, all oiled up, polished, shammied and clean as a whistle good to go. Wow Arina is the bomb, personable, efficient, engaging, charming and supremely talented. Btw she uses a special blend of honey wax worked great and clearly everybody with a sweet tooth was following me around the rest of the day lol Sophie's salon is in a cute little suite of offices on Robertson blvd in Beverly Hills, clean, professional and slammed there is a reason she's (5) stars and booked. A great experience and I will be back to see Arina who by the way had way to much fun slathering me up and ripping it off as she smiled and laughed throughout I have a feeling that her little den of horrors and spandex leotard with mask and whip come out after a couple of visits lmao. Now that I think about it she did ask me if i've been a good boy or need to be punished ok just kidding lol Sophie's is legit and Arina is a rockstar in a scrub... Snagged this on a Bloomspot deal -- Totally worth it. Tech did an AMAZING job. Quick, thorough and relatively painless. Rose oil treatment is a nice touch. Couldn't have been happier with the service, atmosphere and speedy but gentle touch. Parking is pretty easy as well. I recommended this place to two people right after my appointment. Regular prices are reasonable even without a coupon ($39 for Brazilian and $10 extra for the rose oil treatment). Highly recommend. read more

I hate to leave this review, especially during a time when so many small businesses are struggling. However, I only went to this place based on the Yelp reviews which were all positive. Not only did she change the shape of eyebrows (not what we discussed), but I now have this insane burn on my eye. I have never had anything like this happen to me. I paid in full and tipped, but wanted to leave a word of caution to anyone else who might be looking for a new place to get their eyebrows done. Needless to say I will not be returning. read more

I highly suggest coming here for waxing services. The Brazillian wax experience is never fun, but Arina made is as comfortable as it can be. She talked through the waxing which took my mind off of what was actually happening and moved quickly. I was out in 15 minutes. After having not been in longer than I care to admit, she made me feel at ease which makes me want to come back regularly. I am a relatively new customer to Sophie Wax and waxing in general. I've been coming here for the past 4 months and have had a positive experience every time. Arina is super friendly and makes the experience so smooth, even though I dread the appointment every time. Waxing is painful! She keeps me distracted with conversation which I appreciate since the experience can feel awkward for a newbie like me. Her space is very clean and inviting, and she is always so easy to reach. Whether it is through Yelp message or phone call, she is very quick to respond and book your appointment. The only thing I will say is the communal building restroom is not the nicest, but I think that is not something she can really change or else I know it would look much nicer. read more
