Review for Zoe - Service performed is biosculpture gel manicure refill on fingernails. Quality is excellent, no chipping even though I tend to be rough with my nails and wash my hands a lot. Zoe is detailed and really looks at every angle of each nail to review her work. She's also respectful of my requests, listens to and addresses concerns, you just have to communicate it from the beginning so they know. I've also gone to Shak and Sarah before for gel manicures and observed how they check their work of every nail angle too. I am hooked on their biosculpture gel manicure. It was $85 before, but increased to $90. If you pay cash it's $5 less. I often walk here, safe neighborhood, but they have a decent parking lot if you drive. I usually stick to a solid color or French tips (extra $20-$30 depending on length) and have been coming in every 3 weeks or so. The workers usually chitchat with each other in Mongolian. I actually prefer to not have to talk to anyone when getting my nails done since it's my time to decompress, so this works out for my personality lol. I'd be interested in trying their pedicures, dazzle dry, and nail art in the future. Attaching a before and after with very clean regrowth after over 3 weeks. I started with regular gel end of February with short nails (left pic), then started Biogel end of March, and here we are beginning of May (right pic). My natural nails have never been this long before. I had Oyu yesterday for the first time, I am highly sensitive to heat spikes (when drilling or the UV lamp) so the first few minutes of drilling were very painful and had to keep telling her, but same situation with Sarah before regarding heat spikes, that I just had to tell them and they later adjust how heavy or light they press. Oyu learned to adjust to go lighter with the drill and felt much better. So tip if you're sensitive like me, it's important to have that conversation with your nail tech. Kai was also there answering questions regarding when to do biogel refills or when I would need to do new set. He is a subject matter expert and explains well. read more

This was my second time at Bicolor. I booked with Kai and told him ahead of time what color and design I wanted. He completed the nail fill, but then got up and told me someone else would be doing the color and design. Kai left the salon not long after. The person who attempted to do the design was nice, but could not execute what I had requested. I don't know if she was training, but I would have appreciated being asked first. Ended up settling for a more basic design than what I wanted. I hope they address the lack of professionalism and don't do this to other customers in the future. read more

I went to Bicolor Nails in Beverly Hills as a first-time client, expecting my nails to be built up with powder like I usually get. Instead, they just put gel on my nails without explaining, which didn't work at all since my nails are very thin. When I went back hoping they would stand by their work, they made me feel like they were resentful and that if I wanted anything fixed, I'd have to pay again. A few days later, the repair cracked along with two other nails. I returned again, was charged another $60 to fix them, and now they're cracked once more. They clearly don't care about keeping clients or ensuring satisfaction. The work is poor, communication is terrible, and they're not interested in how the job looks. This is their second location, and unless they step up and compete with the many great nail technicians in Beverly Hills, they're in for a big surprise. Just left BiColor Nail Salon, and I absolutely loved it! The salon is so cute, it has a modern, clean vibe and is super aesthetic. High ceilings, very clean, NO polish smell, huge tvs, comfortable chairs. The polish color options are incredible (think cool mauves, trendy colors, jelly styles) I just got a pedicure and it was perfect. I will definitely come back for nails to get a gel design. I just went to Kai for Bio-Gel nails for the first time and I couldn't be happier with the whole experience. My nails and cuticles were a mess and Kai spent an hour perfecting them.
