So I went to get a pedicure while my husband/child were at the Peterson. The person taking appointments was friendly and they had room for me in half hour. I came back and got a decent pedicure. Make sure if you have allergies you ask for the allergy creams/oils. My assigned technician wasn't aware of allergies but the other one was listening in and brought her all the stuff. So 4 stars because they had something but all technicians should be allergy aware since you can't use shea butter for people with nut allergies! My fingernails started chipping after 3 days of getting them done but my toes were fine. So I thought. I now have a painful infection in my left foot on my big toe nail that I am dealing with. I'm trying to get back into the habit of 'maintaining myself' more since COVID restrictions have relaxed. First off, I was always satisfied with the standard of cleanliness at other MiniLuxe's prior to the pandemic, now it appears as though they have stepped up even more in this regard. You should feel safe here for sure. This was my first time at their Beverly Hills location; early February I was at Westwood which was nice (that review pending) but I trust the name regardless of wherever I find myself. West Hollywood is my usual go-to, but they were not open yet at the time. Here on Canon, parking is 2 hours free across the way at the former Montage Hotel (now The Maybourne). Simply follow the crosswalk and you cannot miss MiniLuxe. However if you do for some reason, look for the rose gold signage set on a deep plum background. The staff checking you in is pleasant, and your temperature is taken and then you are instructed to wash your hands in their restroom towards the back. I was taken right away for a naked manicure with 'Candi' (Candy?) and I have to say the way she shaped my nails was perfect. I'm not terribly picky on the exact shape I want; I just like to follow my natural growth and I was happy with the result. I did have a badly broken thumbnail that she did a silk wrap on; this lasted about five days after which for me was great since it was a really bad break. I appreciated the fact that she tried to mend what she could. It's been over a week and it's already growing back nicely. My only complaint is something that will probably benefit everyone else getting their nails done: I always decline a massage since it's a waste of time for me as well as the nail tech; I absolutely despise them when it comes to nails; it does nothing for me. I don't think she quite understood I did not want this since most people probably look forward to this part. She continued on massaging and I was rather uncomfortable; however I feel she was doing what was natural for the service, and I guess I cannot really fault her for that. If I happen to get her again, I'll just have to be more firm/adamant on having them pass on this part. So if you enjoy the massage portion, you will be very pleased with her! Staff was great, checkout was easy, and you can Venmo some of the techs for gratuity or they can still accept cash (mine did at least). So far, every MiniLuxe visit has been a good one; enough where I will return to any of them! read more

For the very first time my mom and I tried a Beverly Hills Nail Salon and I must say that not only was the service amazing, but so was the experience. We both were greeted, asked us if we wanted water or wine and explained to both of us on how their polishes work along with the retention time. What a fabulous grand opening of such a posh Beverly Hills nail salon! My girlfriend and I had the best time here Thursday night. The salon gave us complimentary bubbly, toast rounds with salmon spread, cheddar scones, sushi, cupcakes, and cookies! We were given free polish refreshers! We were given goodie bags with a bottle of cuticle oil, a bottle of gorgeous nail polish, an autographed book written by the owner of MiniLuxe, and a gift card for free brow tint with purchase of manicure. What a generous and sensational grand opening! The salon is drop-dead gorgeous, impeccably clean, and Beverly Hills classy. It's also very nurturing. Terrific manicurists and hosts. This is the most expensive and worst gel manicure I've ever had in my life. It came out to be a $70 gel mani (charged me $10 for gel removal). Bumpiest and most uneven job I've ever seen. It wasn't noticeable until after the full manicure. The front desk asked if I wanted it to fix something, but I already spent a full hour in the salon, was I really going to do removal and get a new full set of gel nails that might come out bumpy and gross again? Absolutely Not. I've had way faster nail techs do the job in half the time and money. I read a lot of terrible reviews online but gave it try anyways, I should have avoided this place. No part of the service felt "luxe." I'm not sure if I was able to capture just how bad this came out In pictures. Okay.. after my last performance mani lasting as long as gel manicures I've had, I'm extremely extremely impressed! (did I say mention extremely already ?;)) This time I got someone new assigned to me, (I think it was Anna) she was super fun to chat with and was super patient and helpful in helping me come up with a nail art pattern. Bc we wanted to make sure the nail art will stay as long as possible, she even applied a bit gel topcoat for free to ensure my nails will stay in good shape for a long time. Look at the attached pic to see how pretty it came out! :)... this is seriously the one saloon I got super outstanding service from everyone.im impressed! Mairani is my absolute favorite manicurist - she and a lot of great questions to make sure your nails are 100% done the exact way you want them to be - you can find her at the Brentwood location Tuesday and Wednesday, and Beverly Hills location Thursday and Friday. When you arrive you're welcomed with tea, champagne, and water, and they have a wide array of polishes to choose from. The Signature Polish manicure is $25, and for $10 more you can upgrade to their Performance Polish, which is like a version of gel that won't destroy your nails and doesn't use UV light. I fell in love with the coral-ish pink Dazzle Dry nail polish, Going Cray Sea! I recommend parking at the closest lot across the street; the first two hours are free if you arrive before 6pm, and after 6pm it's a flat rate of $5. read more

I want to say thank you again to the Yelp Elite Squad for the perk in may which allowed me to enjoy my first manicure here! I went again as a christmas gift to my mom and while she was getting her mani/pedi. I suddenly decided to get a manicure. I felt bad since the cold weather makes my hands super dry and chapped. But Hannah was super understanding and was very gentle and took her time, she didnt rush anything and we talked about the songs on the radio. I walked out with the boston pop nail polish which is a glitter shade mainly of gold with hints of magenta, blue, and green. Its a wonderful color for a celebration whether its a graduation or new year. I also took advantage of thier free champagne glass, which was delicious. Very rarely do I write reviews for businesses, as the daughter of a business owner - I understand how one negative review can affect things. That being said, I want to encourage others not to make the same mistake I made by coming here. I came in for a gel mani and regular pedicure, as my regular salon was closed for the day. In retrospect, I should have just waited. The salon was nearly empty, which was the first red flag. I felt the entire time that I needed to point out or guide both technicians on mistakes that were made, which made me feel uncomfortable. My manicure was bumpy, the shape a square/round when I asked for almond. All of the colors were goopy and it took 15 minutes to find something that looked half way decent. While they were both nice, they seemed a bit out of their element. My finger nails were cut ABOVE the water my feet were in, which really grossed me out. I started to lose patience when the woman doing my toes was literally painting all around my nail, and cleaning it up with remover. She took over 20 minutes just to paint my nails. I had to keep pointing out that there was paint on my skin, to which she replied "I'm not done". I understand cleaning up edges, but shouldn't the goal be to stay on the nail in the first place? My toes ended up bumpy and uneven as well. That said, I eventually gave up and accepted I'd have to get them fixed a different day at usual salon. To top things off - the total price was about 30% more than my other salon. The icing on the cake. Alas, I paid the bill and booked it out of there. read more

This is such an updated nail salon. From the manicurists to the trendy decor and music, and including the runway show playing on the big screen-- this is a refreshing place. After I checked in, I took a seat and found myself glancing at magazines AND adult coloring books, with a great assortment of colored pencils nearby. Then I was asked if I wanted champagne or tea or water and was offered it again later by my sweet manicurist. You can pick from one of two types of nail polishes. For a little bit extra, you can have a nail polish that lasts longer and is he luxe version of a gel manicure. I overheard one of the manicurists discussing that the nail polish is unique insomuch as it doesn't damage the nail and hella the nail breathe. Like I said, totally different from your average nail salon. Parking can be across the street in a parking structure or by meter. While my experience at MiniLuxe BH was great, the manicure that was touted as being long-lasting lasted less than a week before I saw chipping. Less than two weeks out, I've lost polish on three fingers and am going to have to remove the rest when I get home tonight. Arriving at MiniLuxe was great. My manicurist was friendly and cheerful, and we chatted the whole time. Everyone was attentive, and I very much enjoyed my champagne. The saddest thing is that I thought I had found my new spot. I got SOOO many compliments on my manicure for the first week, but it basically disintegrated before I was one week removed from the appointment. Bummer. read more

I really wanted to love this place. Parking is convenient across the street free for 2 hours. The decor inside is beautiful and very upscale. The nail polish bottles with the gold balls on top are so cute. I absolutely love that they have sample nails showing what the colors look like after 2 coats and also plastic sheets that you can paint the colors on to see what they look like. Front desk is very friendly and helpful. However, the manicure itself was the big letdown. It is supposed to take 30 minutes for the signature manicure, mine took over an hour. My technician knocked one of my nails and had to redo it (no big deal, it happens) but then rushed through redoing it and messed it up and had to start again. Nail lengths were uneven, cuticles were cut and left hanging. The second coat did not go all the way to the edges to meet the first coat leaving a line to collect dirt and causing the edges to chip quicker (my biggest manicure pet peeve). The nail polish, while nice, was chipping the next day and chipped halfway down my nails before a week was over. A real shame as this place seems like it could be so great. read more

I had a wonderful experience at Miniluxe. I came here to get my nails done for an event and I was lucky enough to get Sarah. She was wonderful. She helped me pick out a beautiful neutral pink color (rose macaron). I absolutely LOVE this color. She was very gentle and such a pleasure to talk to. I would definitely use her again. Even though it is a $10 upgrade, I highly suggest upgrading to the performance polish colors as they dry in 5 minutes, are non-toxic, and stay on longer than a basic polish but come off with regular nail polish remover. There's a big variety of colors as well. Worth the splurge to not have your nails chip, in my opinion. These polishes make this place special. Another thing I like about Miniluxe is their main focus is on cleanliness and health. Dr. Oz is an advisor.
