It is a small location with only two people so I understand there may be a wait for walk in. They probably try to accommodate the best they can but keep in mind small staff. I have gone here once back 2018 and totally forgot the name and couldn't locate it, until I noticed that I did a yelp review and I was able to find the place again. Don't go without an APPOINTMENT I been there today with my friend they got her and told me that I should wait. No problem so far. I was waiting 50 minuets and than some customer get inside the place, the lady that works there just finished with another customer and suddenly without say nothing she just went to the new customer and start takes care of her. When I asked what about me? They told me that she has an apartment. Why you guys didn't told me before I wait 50 minuets?!?! So disrespectful! I'm not a new customer but obviously I will NEVER come back to this place!!! read more

I love this place so far! I've lived in LA for almost a year and haven't found my place.. but I think as of now, I have! They really take their time with their work and the color selection is great (any place that uses OPI is good in my book). For their tools, they open fresh packages for every person, super important. I would recommend making an appointment. They do accept walk-ins but do get busy. The highlight for me is the spa pedicure. They do a sugar scrub and lotion massage. It's so good! I have sensitive skin and it doesn't seem to bother my legs at all. The massage chair is great also. Price point - very good and reasonable actually! It's hard to find a place in this area that is reasonable. What I get is a gel manicure and spa pedicure and it's $43. They do offer additional services as well - waxing, acrylics, callus and paraffin treatments, etc. **minimim $20 for credit card transactions, tips in cash -- NEW UPDATE -- The second set of photos is from my most recent trip. Tried another salon recently that really jacked up the coffin shape and their acrylic was super thick. Got the deluxe mani/pedi by Helen and it was amazing! This was the best massage I've ever received at a nail salon. She was also very diligent with my nail care and polish. I will definitely be back. The deluxe mani/pedi was $50 & includes 10 min massage/scrub/hot stone. There's parking in a front lot. I wish they had covers for their spas, but that's because I'm a "germ freak". This is the best pedicure and a foot massage I received in a long time. The man that assisted me was extremely meticulous w/ my toes and feet. The lady that did my mani did a nice job. It isn't a chic pretty looking place nor a 5 star hotel spa however I received a wonderful service and very reasonably priced. I was also able to relax as it was very quiet in there. Walked in and had a very interesting experience. I feel like it was race based. I live in the area and wanted a fill but was discriminated against ... the woman at the front desk wouldn't tell me how much a fill was. The man who had no clients looked at my nails, gave a price, started speaking in his native language and then suddenly the woman at the front desk said he couldn't do my nails but didn't say what time ... I left because I really don't want anyone doing nails with that disposition. That is probably why the place was empty and had negative reviews. read more

I set up an appointment with Helen for the first time since they've reopened after shutting down because of COVID. The setup was super easy and very relaxing inside. I got the best gels and manicure by Helen and a heavenly pedicure. This place has a nice relaxed atmosphere and the staff is excellent. My nails lasted more than three weeks! A record for me. I came here becAuse I was staying at the SLS for two nights and it was the only place walking distance. The place could be a lIttle more aesthetically pleasing and the tv was all the way up and would go in and out about 5x a minute, or else I'd give them 5 stars. They did my nails perfectly. Great shape, perfectly to the cuticles and great gel! That's all I really needed at the time so I was perfectly happy. I've done spa mani and pedis, French tip acrylics, acrylics fills with a color change, and lip waxing. Their prices are affordable and the staff are polite and sincere. I usually come on Sundays without an appointment and it's super easy to get whatever you want done. I love this salon! Been going here for about 3 years. They are fast and very detailed. It's always clean and they are always nice!! I love getting pedi's here. I also get acrylic tips and different shapes. I show them pics of what I want they always try to do exactly what i show them. They really go all the way and make sure you're happy with the result. Walked into this place around 10:15am, nobody was in the salon and the workers were just sitting around. Seemed like I was a HUGE annoyance to them. The male technician got up out of the spa chair to do my manicure/pedicure. The pedicure was ok, the manicure was AWFUL; and due to that manicure I now have cellulitis and am on antibiotics! He cut me 2x with the file. He also cut my cuticle & made me bleed. I have NEVER had this happen to me in any other salon. I will NOT be back to this place. read more

I am very very disappointed at this business. I went to go get my nails done with the older man that is in charge of the salon and he totally ripped me off. He did my nails on Thursday night and literally the next day I had four broken nails I went back the next day and he said it wasn't his fault. Ladies I don't recommend this place they have very cheap supplies and your nails will break the next day. It was labor weekend and I had no other choice but to go to this guy but I had seen and heard bad things about this place but I didn't have a choice. When I went back the next day to tell him about my broken nails he refuse to give me my money back then he said he could take them off and put a new set on for me so I had no other choice to take ALL NAILS OFF But then when he was done with removing the new said he just put the day before he didn't wanna put a new set and on top of that he wanted to charge me extra for taking off my nails which it made no sense because the day before I paid him full price to put new nails so apparently he was just trying to take money from me and not doing the service after. I never write reviews. I had such a bad experience that I told myself I have to write a review on yelp. I went there two days before New Year's Eve to get a Mani gel and a pedicure. I called ahead and asked how long it would take, they said it would take 40 mins I said perfect I will be there in 20 mins or less. I arrive in 22 mins. When I arrive I ask again how long would it be for mani gel and pedicure. The lady said 20 mins and I repeated and said 20 mins? She said yes, a whole hour passes by and I am barely seated to get my pedicure. I am waiting for the man to finish up doing the lady's nails next to me so he can start my manicure. A girl walks in and doesn't have an appointment and decides to start her nails and I told no I have been waiting over an hour for a manicure and no one has been communicating to me that it's going to take longer than 20 mins. Instead of apologizing he then says that the woman ( one of his employees) told me I had to wait 40 mins, AGAIN even if the lady told me 40 mins (even tho when I got there I asked how long was it going to take she said 20) I still hadn't gotten my nails done and it had been an HOUR AND A HALF. I ended up leaving midway in the pedicure because I would've been late to my hair appt. On top of me being there, the lady next to me getting a pedicure bled because the employee doing the pedicure didn't know what she was doing and kept poking the woman's toe-up which caused her to bled. Again instead of apologizing she told her no she didn't do that when literally I'm watching and the woman getting her pedicure just watched her make her bled. The employee was still lying. This place is horrible, there are hundreds of nail salons in Southern California and I will NEVER return here. I highly recommend going somewhere else. Plus the first time I went here and got a gel manicure it only lasted a week so don't do business here go somewhere else! read more
