Typical gel removal involves soaking in acetone and this salon only removes it by buffing it off and it was sooo simple and easy when she did it. I will definitely be coming back! However, I got a full set and a nail fell off within a week of getting it done, went in and got it replaced they were great about that, but now the replacement has fallen off. I've been here a few times and they usually do a good job, the lady who did my nails today with a rose tattoo on her arm, did not. She asked me if I was okay and when I told her my nails were cut way shorter than I wanted, she laughed and started talking to me about international women's day. She completely disregarded me saying I was upset about something and then charged me $75 for my nails when the last lady charged me $55 for the same set and she actually did a good job. read more

They have a good variety of nail colors and brands to select from. Appreciate that they use a new, sterilized set of tools for each person and that the prices are super reasonable. I am literally horrified. I went to this nail salon YESTERDAY! And saw the lady struggling with the polish on my big toes constantly painting layers over them and taking them off because it was rigid and bumpy. I took my loses and paid $70 just for my toes!!! I saw the terrible work and decided to go do my manicure somewhere else. Today I get out of the shower and this is what happened with my big toe. I wouldn't be so angry cuz mistakes happen but the service was absolutely terrible and the language barrier was borderline rude. How am I asking a lady to redo my nail because the bumpy surface was unacceptable and she speaks in a different language to her boss companioning about me for 5 minutes before giving me a response. I had an incredibly disappointing experience at this salon. I called at 10 AM and was told to come in at 10:30. I arrived at 10:20 and used the restroom, but the staff was still cleaning up. One lady started my pedicure while another began my nails. Everything seemed fine at first until a customer walked in. The technician stopped working on my nails to assist the new customer and completely finished her manicure before disappearing into the back to chat and have lunch. This was around 11:20, and by 11:45, I had to ask the lady doing my pedicure if anyone was going to finish my nails. After trying to call the technician, she eventually went to the back to get her, but no one returned. At this point, the pedicure technician started going back and forth between my nails and feet. Finally, at 12:10, the original technician came back--not to help me, but because another customer had walked in. I felt completely invisible. She then resumed working on my nails, and when I expressed surprise, she simply said, "Sorry, no contact." By this point, it's 12:30, and she suggested I get Gel-X almond nails, claiming I couldn't do the shape I wanted. I've had Gel-X in all shapes and lengths for years, but I settled on square. By 1 PM, after sitting there since 10:20, they still didn't seem to care at all. To make things worse, the pedicure lady came over to work on one of my hands, without saying a word. I was confused as to why two people were now doing my nails. They had no idea what they were doing--like two rookies playing with my nails. I asked for a French tip, but one of them drew a straight line across the top of my nail and asked if I liked it. It was nowhere near a proper French tip. I eventually told them to just give me plain nails, expressed that I was unhappy with the service, and noted how unfriendly they were. The response? "I thought you were in a rush." To top it off, my left thumb ended up much longer than my right. When I asked if someone could fix it, they made it worse. The more experienced technician was busy with another customer and never bothered to help. This place is unprofessional, disorganized, and completely indifferent to their customers. Do yourself a favor and avoid this salon. What a waste of time and money! read more

I had a regular mani and pedi, and it was the best one I've had in several years. I am an artist and muralist so I don't get manis too often but as a perfectionist myself, I am always looking to see how they can paint my nails to perfection, and that Lucy did. Lovely new addition to the neighborhood. Just opened 2 days ago. The owner NASA is a small owned business. He has another location in Beverly Hills. Parking in the back and street parking. Price is comparable to Luxe nails. Few dollars cheaper. They are super conscious about not using any harmful chemicals. With that, they don't do acrylics. Regular and gel/gel X.
