It was my first time receiving this particular cosmetic treatment, and I admittedly wasn't well-versed in what the procedure should reasonably cost. I was charged $5,000, which I was required to pay upfront, before receiving any treatment. As I recall, the price included an initial treatment and a follow-up appointment approximately three months later, during which I could receive additional filler at no extra charge. At the time, I trusted that the pricing was reasonable and reflective of the service I was receiving. It wasn't until later, after learning more about the typical cost of under-eye filler, that I began to question just how much I'd paid. To make matters worse, I left my second appointment with a black eye. Looking back, what disappoints me most isn't simply the amount of money I spent. It's the feeling that, as a first-time patient unfamiliar with the procedure and its pricing, I wasn't in the best position to make an informed financial decision. I understand that cosmetic treatments are elective, that providers set their own prices, and that bruising can occur with injectable procedures. Still, $5,000 was a substantial amount of money, and I wish I'd taken the time to compare providers, ask more questions, and better understand what I was paying for. Five years later, this experience still bothers me. I share it not out of malice, but in the hope that someone considering a similar treatment will do their research, compare prices, and feel empowered to ask questions before committing financially. Unfortunately, I would not return to EpiOne based on my experience.

That loyalty made my most recent visit all the more disappointing. I had a 10:50am appointment. The day before, Felicia texted asking if I could push to 11am. I said I'd try to rearrange my plans. She replied: "let's keep the 10:45." I managed to move things around (because if she was asking, I figured she was in need, and I wanted to help) and arrived at 10:57 -- 7 minutes late by the original booking, not 15. When I walked in, Felicia told me I was 15 minutes late. I explained I'd rearranged my schedule to accommodate her request. She shrugged and said "too bad, I already booked someone afterwards.". It wasn't until I was in the room that I checked the reminder email -- original appointment: 10:50. So by her own scheduler, I was 7 minutes late, not 15. Felicia eventually gave me an extra 5 minutes to make up for the mix-up, and I appreciated that. But the cold, dismissive way she started the appointment stayed with me. That's not how you treat someone who's followed you for 15 years. Part of why I see Felicia specifically -- and not one of those high-volume places with curtain walls and hospital beds for tables (you know the ones) -- is the whole experience. A facial should be calming and restorative, and Felicia's warmth has always been as much a part of that as her technique. When that warmth disappeared at the door, it colored everything that followed. The facial itself was top notch. Felicia is genuinely skilled, stays current on products and techniques, and can deliver a top-notch treatment in her sleep. I hope this was an off day, because the person that greeted me at the door was not the warm person that I've been loyal to for a decade and a half.

She's a total sweeheart, and her kind, sincere, bubbly demeanor started to but my heart at rest. Like I forgot about getting waxed and got wrapped up in conversation. The numbing spray is incredible -- smells amazing and really does the job. And then surprisingly enough, I didn't really even notice that I was being waxed. I mean, yeah, I knew, but there was pretty much NO PAIN. There was certainly no blood, and Kelly did a beautiful beautiful job. I looked hot! (and yes, truth be told, sex WAS better because I felt super gorgeous, more confident, and was more sensitive to the touch) And I didn't have to think twice about a bikini last minute. So easy! Kelly also did my eyebrows, and I walked out of that salon looking gorgeous. She is super talented. Normally I go to Anastasia in Beverly Hills. I like both equally, but Wax will be more convenient. It's now a month later. No ingrowns. And I'm headed back to Kelly because I trust her.
