The older male tech who was doing my pedicure was aggressive, non communicative and in a rush. What happened to being gentle? This man man handles you, grabs your feet to position how he wants... he has a grip. The Feet taps to go in and out of the water could have done more gentle, and the way he massages the sugar scrub into the skin with his NAIL.... NO SIR. My boyfriend and I got the same pedicure and he does NO polish and I got shellac and I was done before him. The girls there were taking their time with their clients so I give them 10/10.... This happens to be the rudest nail salon ever! I walk-in no greeting whatsoever, being this is my first time in the salon, it would have nice to know how the flow of the salon goes. Once I realized, the sign in on the computer... there were SEVERAL who signed up after me, even with my scheduled appointment and were seen before I walked back to the pedicure chair. Tech (Ken) was extremely rude. I came in for a mani and a pedi and had the worst experience with the pedicure. The tech was aggressive with his approach (i.e yanking my foot, cut my toe with the spinning blade, not to mentioned, snatched the mini water out my hand). The water was extremely hot, and he seemed like he didn't want to be there and in a rush, mind you, it was pretty early on Sunday morning so you can imagine it was pretty dead. Been here twice, first time (08/19) was really enjoyable got a pedicure as I was getting a pedicure the lady who was doing it kept insisting to do my nails after I kept explaining to her how everything seems to chip off because of my oily nail beds she offered to dip them in the powder once then put gel polish over sounded perfect to me as I didnt want a manicure just gel on my nails. I ended up doing it and loved it plus she only charged me $27 for that service plus pedicure which was $28. Fast forward to today (09/07) I went back to get the same thing done just change the color and as I was explaining to front desk lady the service I got last time she looked at me like if I was crazy she said they charge $45 for what I got, when I pointed out the lady who helped me last time she began to pretty much call me a liar and say she didn't do any of the things I said she did and that she doesn't remember, at this point i'm irritated. Manager told me she would do it for $30 this one time, so fine I sit down and wait. As i'm getting my service done by a nice technician who I would rate 5 stars if I could the other lady who helped me last time tells me they had a special running last time I came. Which is a lie!!! Worst service ever ! Had a gel manicure done- the guy put tips on without asking me. I told him I needed them short for work, he refused to go shorter. Gel polish peeled on one finger within 12 hours. Had to go back (wasting more of my time). I told him I needed that fixed AND that I needed my nails filed as I had difficulties working the POS system at work the evening before. He was on his hands free phone device and clearly not listening to me. Fixed the gel on the one nail and said "all done." I reminded him I wanted them shorter. He started to file and two of my fingers were horribly crooked ! I tried to tell him and he got upset and threw the nail file at me and told me to do it myself ! Worst customer service, horrible business mindset ... might I add that this person was he owner ! First time I went there they were about to close, I asked for shellac on my natural nails and the lady did them but she did them very fast, within a week they chipped. Did not like that but I guess the lady was in a rush to close, but did not want to lose a customer. I went back just because their shellac on regular nails is half the price of other nail salons. Terrible pedicure. Didn't even do a pedicure. Clipped nails, rubbed lotion on top of feet, then attempted to paint my nails twice. Wanted a simple baseball design, but when you can't even get the base coat right.... Forget the design! Didn't use any tools to remove dry skin etc. My 10 year old could've done a better job painting too. This place used to be great but I won't be returning. read more

After reading reviews I was unsure about this salon but I work at Brooks City Base so it's close and I thought I'd give it a try. I have tred two other salons. One down the street that was a terrible experience and another in NE SA that was ok. My 7 year old and I went for mani-pedis and we were very happy with our results and the service we received.
