I was highly disappointed with my visit at Nail Bloom. I came here after seeing a video on IG. In the video the place looked lively, welcoming and refreshing. I decided to check it out for my birthday nails which I am sure y'all know the importance of birthday nails. I was so excited to try a new nail place because I am still on the hunt for "my nail lady" since I am fairly new to Dallas. From the moment I walked in I was underwhelmed. The nail salon was a ghost town. There was one guy doing a lady's nails, and there was one other lady who greeted me. She handed me a paper that had their services listed. I proceeded to ask her to clarify the prices and asked if I wanted Dip nails would it still be an additional $20 for a manicure. She said yes. To me this was too much considering that most places charge about $8-$10 for a manicure when doing dip nails. I then asked how much would it be to do a design. She told me I would have to ask the nail tech because they decide the price. I understand that design price can vary on the complexity, but there was no nail tech to ask at the moment so I decided I would just do a gel manicure and a regular manicure. After choosing my services she directed me to pick my color. I picked out a color only for her to then tell me the color I picked was not a gel polish. I went back to look for another color from their lack of selections and unknown brands. I wanted to get my go-to color for my toes, funny bunny, but was told they did not have that color. This is a mistake on their part because it is one of the most popular colors. I proceeded to sit for my pedicure. The water was freezing!! She was aware because she said it was too cold without me needing to. She "fixed" it by putting more cold water. I sat on the chair for a little bit hoping she would come and offer me a cocktail as that was advertised in the IG video but she never did. As I was sitting on the chair staring into an empty nail salon, I realized the nail tech was not in the building and she was stalling to try and get them in. After a few minutes a gentleman began my pedicure. He worked very gently on my pedicure. I had to ask him once or twice to cut my nails/ cuticle more. At this point there is still no one working on my nails. Then the lady who greeted me tells the gentleman working on my toes that she will be back. I knew this meant that she was going to go get the lady for my nails. I decided to no longer do my nails because I just had a feeling it would not go well. The receptionist came back with a nail tech when the man was finishing up my pedicure and was gesturing her to go do my nails. I told her I changed my mind and had somewhere to be. She said not to worry, and was a little pushy insinuating that she would be done fast. I do not advise someone to say they will do my nails fast, when it is 3:45 and I am saying I need to be somewhere at 4. My pedicure turned out to be terrible! The nail polish was all over my toes and you could see spaces missing. I called him back over to fix two toes but even that couldn't salvage the pedicure. The longer I sat on the chair to let my pedicure dry, the more faults I could see and the more mad I became. I really did not think my pedicure was worth paying for but I decided the best thing to do would be to never return. read more

Pedicure techs are the only reason they get 3 . They do just fine w basic nails but for nails that require a higher level of skill try elsewhere. You could end up w/ what I wanted vs what I got nails and will gaslight you. *upcharge to shape nails anything other than square or round. read more

Came in to get my nails done. Already had gel polish with almond shape with only my real nails. One nail was broken so I decided to get dipping powder with an added tip Lady took off my gel polish and started on my dip. She dipped all my finger and started drilling them down etc. it was extremely thick and all over the place. She said the color I picked is hard to work with. She kept burning my fingers and I kept jumping. She then said do you want me to take it off. I said sure that's fine. She wasn't able to get it thinned out of shapes correctly. She said do you want it redone. Cause if you do someone else can do it cause I'm going home. I said no just take it off. So she drill all of it off my nails leaving my nails brittle and completely messed up. She then said I would have to pay for the removal of my gel polish. I didn't think this was fair since I wouldn't have even removed my gel polish if I wasn't getting my nails done and if she could have done my nails correctly then the gel removal was free. So I didn't argue with her I just went up to talk with the white guy who said he was the acting manager. He was rude and said well I have to go with whatever said says. I said well who is the owner or what is their contact info, name or anything so that I can speak with them tomorrow about the manner, he wouldn't tell me anything so I told him to call the police. The police get there and I tell them I'll pay the $10 but he needs to provide me with the contact information. He is extremely disrespectful to them and they get in a heated argument with him and the police tells everyone not to come there anymore cause they are constantly called to this salon for issues. I took a video of the incident. I wouldn't advise going here. The can't provide good services and very disrespectful to their customers Like this guy said a bunch of choice words to the officer. I'm surprised he didn't go to jail. Save your time, money and energy. read more

My grandmother, mom and I all came in for pedicures and nails. Not only did my grandmother get dremeled to the point where her nails were on fire. They also saw a roach. My nails however, I showed the guy a picture of what I wanted. It was French tip thinking it was simple, paid $75 for short nails. Horrible customer service. Walked in and was greeted and told to check in. After this is what like I was a ghost. I picked out a color and sat down, and waited 15 minutes with no acknowledgement from any staff, no one offered a refreshment, or even quoted me a wait time. I was giving this place one more chance as I had stopped going for a few months due to a poor prior experience where the nail tech took two hours to do a basic acrylic set that ended up LUMPY. When I got up to leave literally no one tried to stop me. They could not care less that they had a customer waiting. I highly suggest you drive 1 minute down the road to Addison Nail Salon. Service is always quick, friendly, and the pricing is way more reasonable than Nail Bloom. They are also always fully staffed. It looked like there were only 2 people working on a Friday at Nail Bloom. Disappointing because the environment is nice and it's close to where I live, but the customer service you receive is not worth the higher pricing compared to other salons in the area. read more

The worst experience at a nail salon. While I was looking for a color, the nail tech came over to "help" and then told me the color I'm looking would not look great because of my dark skin color. Eventually I found a color and when I asked for it, it was not in stock. The nail tech decided to clean up my nails as I was looking. After 15 minutes the front desk girl came up to us saying the tech can't complete my service if I can't decide on a color since it had been one hour. l told her I did in fact like a color, but it was not in stock and we were finding alternates. I felt extremely uncomfortable and decided to leave and pay for the removal service only. She was trying to charge $5 more than the listed price of $10. I had to show her the menu said $10 and she was still refusing to honor it! I also clarified I had been in the nail salon for a total of 20 minutes showing her my parked car location with the time stamp. She proceeded to tell me the nail techs are on commission and I'm wasting their time. I said well they would've gotten paid more and had a full service if you hadn't interfered. She was rolling her eyes and was clearly annoyed. Never had such horrible service at a nail salon! I would give 0 stars if I could. I just wanted to relax and get my nails done- it didn't happen. I went in today to get my eyebrows waxed. Usually, Kimmy does my eyebrows. She wasn't available or she wasn't there. A lady name Chantel or Shanelly did my eyebrows. From the get go, her attitude wasn't customer friendly. It should've been a sign. She was doing my eyebrows she didn't talk to me or anything. She just rolled the paper and had me lay on the bed. She didn't even ask what I wanted. After she did my eyebrows, she said "done" and left the room. She didn't even hand the mirror or ask if I liked the service. She just walked off. I was upset because once I got up and checked by myself. My eyebrow was almost waxed completely off. It was so thin I almost cried. I went to the register to go pay. I asked for a discount and she just looked at me like if I was dumb. She argue and said "I just cleaned it." She didn't even apologize for my unpleasant experience. She just took my money. I repeatedly said "it's so thin" No sort of compassion or empathy from her. I asked for her name and she didn't even look at me and made an ugly facial expression when I asked her for her name. Now, I have to go buy an eyebrow pencil to fix it. I DO NOT RECOMMEND getting your eyebrows waxed by Chantel or Shanelly. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE for such a lovely place. First off, this nail place is GORGEOUS. It is very big and is decorated in the most elegant and beautiful way I have ever seen from a nail salon. I absolutely love the elegance that the entire place carries, it truly is an experience. I came for my birthday to get my nails and toes done. I got a pedicure and then acrylic for my long birthday nails. The lady who did my pedicure, Summer, was so careful and meticulous with everything that she was doing. Even though I got the basic pedicure, she still took so much time cutting my cuticles, dead skin, that I literally have never received from any other nail salons. She really was that good!! And for my nails, I had Kenny who took so much time and care with my nails. He buffed these babies down!! I gave him a pretty tough style with like five different designs and he did every one of them. The staff here are so nice and I felt welcomed by every one of them. Their prices are more on the higher end but for the experience, care, and customer service, I think it's all worth it. Would 100% recommend !! read more

Since this place is open til midnight I went in wanting to have a nice treat yourself night and it wound up being exactly opposite that. The guy that did my pedi rushed through it bc I was his last person & gave me the biggest attitude & was so rude when I didn't have a toe color picked out bc the lady was helping me find the nail color so he legit left without painting my toes. Then the girl finds that color I want and tells me she's gonna charge me $90 for it bc it's a "speciality" color (literally just wanted one solid color, no design) and it would be another $30 on top of the pedi to do it on my toes. Also my nails are already shaped into how I want them and she was charging me to shape them. Meanwhile I spent $80 here 2 1/2 weeks ago for vacation nails (no pedi) and for one to break the next day. The receptionist was very nice and understanding as to why I wanted to leave. I paid $48, left w/o my nails done & a horrible pedicure. UPDATE: Came in at 12 the next day like I was told to speak to the owner and was told "sit and wait an hour she's not here" so I waited a while til another employee came in and asked when the owner was going to be in. She put me on the phone with her and turns out she is just as rude as her employees. She made it my fault for not getting my nails done and offered to take off $10 to get my nails done today, I said I am not getting my nails done I would like a refund for the service I received last night. She kept insisting I get my nails done instead of listening to how these employees treated me last night You have 110% lost a customer. Which is very sad because Sandi and Anna are great. My nail salon that I went to for 8 years closed and I had to find a new one. This is my new place! Sandy did my nails and they look great! She did a super cute Halloween design free hand. TK did one of the best pedicures I have had in a long time. This salon is clean, beautifully decorated, and has a very relaxing vibe. open late which is the biggest perk! as someone also in the beauty industry, i can't always get to a nail salon with regular hours. they were so sweet over the phone and when i went in! the tech that did my nails (i totally forgot to get her name, i blame the two glasses of wine they gave me lol) did a great job! my only complaint is that in less than a week of having them, the edges were lifting and my hair was getting caught but she got my shape, length, and design perfect. it's not the worst thing to deal with. i plan to give them another try and maybe point out to whichever tech i get that it happened so they can do whatever that keeps the edges from lifting. read more

Haven't been here for years today. I decided to go because it's closer than my regular place. So new name, new look but same ol expensive rip you off place. The nail people I had were nice and did great, other than I picked polish and matching dip, numbers were the same etc..my hand and toes look nothing alike. Also, one of my nails is completely crooked and shorter than all the rest?? They have 1 person working the counter, so as I wait 3 deep to check out and people coming in, they cater the to them first..Seriously WTF! I booked a manicure for a Retinol treatment and asked about IBX when I arrived. I also asked about a French manicure but was not told about any change of the cost. My nail technician used a manual nail file to take off my previous gel manicure and injured my pinky finger while doing it. He also didn't take off all of the polish until I pointed it out to him. It has been 5 days and my manicure has already chipped twice. But after my bad experience plus them trying to overcharge me for services not provided (massage of 1 minute instead of 8, no collagen gloves, etc.), I will NOT be returning despite their 7 day guarantee on polish. read more

And I've been harassed by their employees online day in and day out with threats if I don't take my reviews down. Amazing! I hope this place closes due to the multiple health violations they should be fined for. Can't wait to file a formal complaint with the state about this establishment. All I ever asked for was just a simple color change and to have been treated like that and refused service is still appalling to me. I saw this on Instagram and looks elegant so I thought I give it a try. When I got there the receptionist ask my name blah blah then after just ignore me and she was talking with other women I waited someone come to me so finally I seated and the woman ask me what color I want I said I din't know no one show me the colors since my first time there, since I have an allergy my legs still healing I said to the woman I'm not gonna have a massage she said it's ok better for me seems like she don't want to be there she cut my skin in my toes and this woman who did my mani I can't relax my fingers coz I was scared that she cut me too. Got a mani and pedi done last weekend. Got the basic mani and fancier pedi. The guy that did my nails didn't file them after cutting, use the buffer to make them smooth, and minimally trimmed my cuticles. The polish was applied thick (3 coats) and after he was done painting, her told me to wait 10 min. I did. Got home 2 hours later and nails smudged b/c they still weren't dry. Won't be back. read more
