I'm very upset about my pedicure I get this service twice a month so it's not a hard foot.....I decided to get a pedicure here it cost over $70. The gel removal was completely done by drill and apparently the tech didn't know where my real nail bed began now I have vertical splitting down my nail beds and it's painful. I would go back and complain but I don't want the hassle of proving anyone wrong when it's obvious that I'm on the loosing end. ANYWHERE IN AUSTIN IS BETTER! I have never used Yelp before, but created an account specifically to spread the word about how horrible, rude, and unimpressive this nail spa was. The sign read "complimentary beverages" so we decided to give it a try. The manicure and pedicure finally started. The woman doing my manicure squirted the cuticle softener all over my hands. My hands started to burn, and kept burning. After 5 minutes or so, I decided to speak up. I told her "THIS IS BURNING ME! can i take it off please" and she smiled and kept rubbing with her gloves on. Shortly after, i told another woman that i was in pain, and once she realized what had happened, she started screaming at the lady doing my manicure. Turns out, the woman had accidentally put the abrasive acetone gel (for severe foot calluses) on my hands, and before she could finish the manicure my hands were blistering. She rushed to finish the mani anyway, and it was the worst painting job i've ever had. ended up being the most expensive manicure i've ever gotten, i asked for a second coat and they said no, i asked for a discount because of my blistering hands, and they said no. not to mention, we were never once offered a complimentary beverage. read more

They close at 7pm, but I was walking by at 7:05, and the door was open, so I peeked in and asked if they were open and had time for a pedicure. The owner cheerfully replied yes. The shop features pretty decor--sky on the ceiling, fancy chandeliers, about 18 brand new massage chairs. It's a nicer atmosphere than US Spa or Arboretum Nails. And they offered me a complimentary beverage--water, soda, or wine. My nail tech, Trang, made friendly conversation and did a great job on my toes. I was a little surprised at the lack of spa extras like leg massage but the glass of wine helped to balance that out for me. For what it's worth, the scrub, lotion, hot towel treatment is an extra $15, which puts the deluxe pedicure price right in line with Arboretum Nails in the adjacent shopping center. read more

I live in this neighborhood and was so excited to have a new fun place to get my nails done. I took my 6 year old daughter to have a "girlie" day. She's had several manicure's in the past and is a very well behaved child. She knows what to expect. WE expected a warm welcome and an offer of a drink (since that was what the Grand Opening signs said.) I asked for a manicure for my daughter and the owner seemed upset about it explaining "she doesn't have any cuticles". WTF!? I told him that's what I wanted. I love this place! I recently moved to Round Rock and will still make the drive to go to this place. It is the only nail salon I have found in Austin where my gel nail polish doesn't chip after 5 days! I can go almost 3 weeks without my polish chipping when I get my nails done here. They are clean, and quiet, they have HGTV playing or cooking shows that you can veg out on while they do your nails and I don't feel rushed. My nails always grow so well when I use gel nail polish and there's nothing worse than having your fresh manicure chip from cheap or water downed polish, in the 4 years I've come here they have always had excellent polish.
