I got a french pedicure here and the service was amazing! Also, the ladies were super sweet. Two of my toes had smudged and they offered free touch ups even though it wasn't their fault. Will definitely be coming back here more often. read more

I first came here to get a lip wax and thought this place was clean so I decided to come back for a manicure. 1- The lady who did my nails didn't soak them before cutting the cuticles. 2- Massaging each hand took 30 seconds when that's the most relaxing part of the process. 3- Prices are good and moderate. read more

So happy to have found this place! My 10-year-old loves to get her nails done every now and then but usually by the time we get out the places are crowded and you feel rushed. We tried Nail Art and they had an appointment and we only had to wait a couple of minutes. The lady was sweet and talkative with my daughter and very gentle with her nails. She helped her pick out what she would like to get on them and also helped her pick out colors. She even show her the glitters which my daughter loved! She didn't rush through anything and my daughter just loved her nails and her experience at the salon. We had been to a couple of others in town that kind of rush through it thinking that it is a child and that she wouldn't care, but they do. They want the experience too. Went here with the hope that it would be good and a salon I could go to constantly. The lady hurt me multiple times and cut my finger. However, I would've been understanding and not of cared so much if my nails came out at least decent. There was only one other person there and the lady rushed my nails so much that they are extremely Misshaped. They honestly look like I did them myself and... I'm definitely not a nail artist at all... There's barely any colors to choice from. My nails are completely crooked and the actual nail polish looks crappy. And to top it all off!!! I was charged $55.00 for this very unpleasant experience. Please save your money and go to another place. I tried Nail Art recently due to the recommendation from some locals who said there were about 3 places right in the area that were good, not a rave review, but I'd go for good. Nail Art was in walking distance so I decided to try it. Essentially, I don't really ever get my nails done in an effort to save time & money, but I had a special occasion so I was looking forward to it as a bit of a pampering treat. It wasn't a comfortable experience. Everything seems pretty outdated and kind of lazy. The news was on, and I don't know about you, but I'm not too much of a fan hearing about murders when my intent was to relax and have some spa like treatment. Maybe some nice ambiance music? When I got my pedicure the water quickly got cold. The massage chair was fun, but really wasn't a very comfortable chair otherwise. I've been to places that use those sanitary plastic bins. Not here. Here, they put a paper towel on the foot rest. It quickly got soaked and I honestly am not really sure what the point of it is. My pedicure was ok. There was hardly any kind of foot/leg massage. So sad. My manicure was disappointing. The chair was uncomfortable again. I saw some pillows around, would have felt good on my back. Adding to the discomfort, I felt the lady really went to town on my cuticles and general skin. It was like she was cutting shrubbery. My hands don't look like I've been clawing my way out of a grave or anything, but the second they get dry I have all this dead skin around my nails like curling up and I have to pick it off...TMI I know. It's gross. :( My manicure was streaky and it started chipping within 2 hours of returning home. It's been less than a week and I'm going to have to take it off. It was a french and I think the white nail paint may be old or something? It looks like I tried to use white out to french manicure my nails. I wish I could white out this experience from my brain. I also feel a little bad because the lady messed up a bunch of times and really tried to get it right. Too bad after all of that effort it didn't even last. 2 stars. I've experienced better. I love this place. Its a block away from my job so it's very convenient. I always go without appointment and never wait more than 10 min. All 3 workers do an excellent job. The only thing I hate about it is the way they take off your gel manicure. They use the tool instead of soaking which hurts and burns. Good prices and much variety in colors. read more

This was the first salon I've received a gel manicure at. I was unaware of the removal process at first, but they use the tool that basically sands the polish away ( i believe used on acrylics ). This is apparently not the way to do it--you are supposed to soak them in acetone. As far as quality of the manicure, the owner was fantastic and knew I went on my lunch break and always manage to finish in under an hour. She could have polished a bit closer to the cuticle a couple of times, but no big deal. Another older woman took much longer and was much sloppier and cut my cuticle. This place is the closest in walking distance of my apartment on a block with about 4 other nail salons so I figured I'd give them a shot. Upon first impressions, this place is kind of dirty. There are nats flying everywhere, the ceiling tiles are broken and stained, and I also noticed that there is a stack of paper towels at each nail station in which they take the top towel and place it underneath the pile every time a new person sits down. This should have been my cue to stop going but figured I wasn't doing anything crazy and that this was super convenient to get to. Also, there was barely anyone ever there so I rarely had to wait (another red flag). Anyway, I started going to them in the beginning of May and had them start doing gel polish manicures. I went to them every 2 weeks and my nails held up pretty well for a good 2 months meaning they grew wonderfully, and minus a couple of chips here and there (which I also have learned isn't normal -- indicator of old/outdated polish), I never dealt with my actual nail bed breaking. Then I started noticing my nails were breaking constantly. Figured perhaps it was an off week or two until the breaks kept happening within 1-2 days of every manicures so I started putting two and two together. My nails were once super strong and now have become weak and brittle which baffled me because all I was doing was applying gel polish... not a gel with tip + polish which is usually what will damage your nails after time. After a quick google search, apparently the proper way to remove gel polish is to apply a soaked cotton ball of remover on each tip and then have your fingers wrapped in tin foil for 15 minutes to remove the color without creating any damage. At this salon they use a metal tool (the ones they use when you get actual gel tips applied to your nail) to remove the polish from your nail bed which in turn will also damage the top layer of your nail bed every time. Do that every other week and the damage will add up and thus lead to brittle nails. I had no idea that this was the incorrect way so I was pretty upset about it. I walked in last night determined to give them one last shot but also let them know I was pretty upset with the damage that was done to my nail on account of their methods. The owner told me that no, my nails are just weak and that they only remove the polish with the filer. I explained that by doing that they still get a part of the top of the nail bed and over time this does make them week. She insisted I was wrong and then told me they could remove them another way (the correct way as stated earlier above) which I happily accepted. She took me over to another station and pulled out two old jars of nail polish remover with things floating in it and placed my fingers in it. I was in shock because both of these jars were used countless times prior (I wish I could have taken a picture) and now she's soaking my entire finger tips in them (skin & all). She then began to start taking one finger out every 30 seconds and tries to chip away the nail polish (also read this is damaging to your nail) and then would put them back in because the polish wasn't budging. After about 2 minutes of this I looked at her and expressed that I was confused as to why she wasn't doing the method she promised with the soaked cotton ball and tin foil as originally discussed and why she was now soaking my skin in old polish remover. She then obliged and did it the correct way but once again was trying to rush the process... taking the foils and cotton ball off my nail every 30-60 seconds trying to chip away at the polish. She became frustrated and started using a regular nail filer (versus the electronic filer) to take off the polish.... once again going back to a method that damages my nail bed. At this point I expressed how unhappy I was to be toyed with and took all of the stuff off my finger tips and walked out. I have an appointment tonight at a place up the block with much more positive reviews which should have been a clear indicator that I should have skipped on this place all together. read more

Unfortunately not the best experience. I came to this place because i wanted a pedi and a manicure . I was getting a pedicure when somebody with an appointment came in... the girl who was doing my pedi rush me so badly my pedicure was done in less than 5 min. So i decided to decline a manicure and get out of that place as soon as i could ... really bad customer service from nancy thats the name of the person who did my unfinished service ... im not coming back to this place ... i dont recomend this place to nobody ... and they charged me $18 ... read more

I got a set of almond shaped acrylics here (i wanted almond but they came out more round). They turned out pretty good because they lasted me a good 2 and a half weeks without chipping but i was really surprized at the price. I was charged $75 for acrylics with a tip (although i did not want one i just wanted them to be molded into shape) and gel color over it. I asked how much a refill is and that was almost the same price! But i have to say the lady who did my nails was really nice, staying almost an hour after closing to finish them up! But the prices are high so the search continues! read more
