Been here several times for gel manicures and pedicures and leave happy every time! The pedicures are very good as they are very thorough especially for sandal season and they have done a great job executing modern minimalist designs on for my gel manicures. My only complaint is the quality of the regular polish has been hit and miss at times with early signs of chipping within the week. It's not very posh but the tradeoff is great prices! I recommend making a reservation and they are closed on Sundays. If you're in Astoria I definitely recommend popping in! read more

Went in for a gel mani and pedi. Lady sat me down and began the process of removing the gel polish from my toes by using a nail drill in the highest mode. My thin nails began to burn because she was thinning them down so much so I politely asked her to turn down the drill mode to a more gentle setting. She said okay and continued. When she went over to the other foot, she switched out to use the harsh drill again, so I asked her to switch back to the other one, she snapped at me in a nasty, annoyed way "I know!" And continued to use the harsh setting to remove the gel and thin out my toe nails. Once done, she asked me what gel color I want, and I told her I'm all set. I put on my shoes, with gel residue still in my nails and a terrible "pedicure". I asked her to charge me, paid $30 for the crappiest service and nasty attitude. I should've walked out but that would've been very dramatic lol First and last time trying this place out. You get what you pay for. read more

NAIL EMERGENCY!! After a day of work I look down at my nails and two out of the ten nails of my manicure had half dip powder on them and one nail started to lift. I did not want to get a whole other manicure being that I was waiting to do my Pride nails! I walked in at 7:40pm in a panic asking if they can fix my nails. She sat me down right away, explained that she might not have the exact color and started to get to work. I didn't care about the color. I needed something to hold me over for one more week. We picked something sparkly (as per usual) and in about 20-25 my amazing tech fixed my nails. I've been getting my nails done by BinBin for ages and they've always been spot on. I've never had a bad manicure or pedicure regardless of who attends to me. I've almost always gotten an appt or have been able to walk in when I want which makes it super convenient. It's the best nail spot on Steinway although they can get busy on weekend's it's worth the wait at times. Depending on what kind of services you're getting the appt may be advised as Bella fills up quickly for her manicures. read more

My nails were looking bad it had been months since I got a mani pedi but came here and got my cuticles right. Unfortunately the salon doesn't work well with short nails as I asked for French manicure and they said no and I asked for a design and they said no. I feel like basic mani pedis are slightly overpriced considering some of their other salon counterparts but I still don't hate this place. If you are looking for a glam, spa-like aesthetics with top of the line equipment, this may not be the place for you. But you are looking for quality work and dedication from nail techs, then you're in the right place. My tech was professional, efficient and patient! She was attentive to my needs and requests. They don't take appointments, walk ins only. The wait can be a bit long because they had about 5-7 techs when I was there. Color selection was large with your typical brands such as OPI and essie. Price matched services and ambiance. Although it wouldn't hurt to upgrade to better equipment, the quality is there. I'd most likely would return. read more

I love bin bin's. They have always done a fabulous job on me. They were closed for renovations recently so I went to a neatly salon and I really disliked how they did my nails. This place is cheap and for a reason. I've been here once before and it was okay and so I decided to come here again--specifically for shellac nails. I entered the store and asked the asian tech if they do shellac, and I emphasized shellac because it is different and less damaging than gel. She said yes and so I chose my color. She then guaranteed that my pedicure color will match any of the colors I chose. I asked if she was available soon to do my mani/pedi and she said no, and to go to the newer hispanic woman for my pedi. I then asked if she can do my mani, to which she said yes. The hispanic tech did my pedicure, and she did not do a great job. It hurt my toes when she was cleaning them and barely touched my cuticles. She then applied a different pink (not office friendly at all), and once I realized the color was off, I pointed it out. Apparently there was NO pedicure normal nail polish that matched my office friendly gel choice...even though they said all of them have matching counterparts. So I was sitting here getting a diff color mani/pedi. I then got my pedi and the lady hardly touched my cuticles again, and only redid one nail after I pointed it out. Then I checked the brand of the nail polish being used and realized it was normal GEL, not CND Shellac. I pointed it out before the mani began and the asian tech chimed in, saying that shellac and gel are the same thing. NO THEY ARE NOT. Shellac is less damaging to nails and is a mix of nail polish and gel. So now I'm sitting here with two different color nails and not even the manicure type that I had asked for. So I went on with it, already extremely annoyed, and once the hispanic tech was done, I realized she did a crap job even applying the polish. It was uneven and sloppy. So there we have it. Binbin nails is cheap but for a crap job (oh and did I mention fruit flies everywhere). Pay a little more and go to a real nail salon, where they know the difference between shellac and gel. read more

Good service, pretty packed always but they attend you very fast. I waited a few weeks to post my review because I wanted to see how my nails looked after a while. Getting my nails done in other salons my nails always break a week later or the gel gets black but the gel from bin bins it's so good and does not turn black. My manicure lasted for 4 weeks and the acrylic IS STILL NOT LIFTING FROM THE BOTTOM OF THE NAIL which makes me so happy. That picture is a 4 weeks after result. The job looks amazing like it's still brand new just missing a fill in. I'm going to wait and see if it lasts 5 weeks because that would be amazing. Totally recommend this place read more

If I could give them zero stars I definitely would. Do not waste your time and go somewhere else. Every time I have an appointment it is expected not to be attended until about two hours later so you end up spending about 3/4 hours in there just for an overpriced mediocre mani & pedi. The only person who takes their time to clean well is the Spanish lady which is why I would go there and I only allow her to touch my nails (no acrylic) I made an appointment to specifically be attended by her. I arrived 30 mins after my appointment since I knew the wait in there was always long, a couple of girls with appointments after mine were seen and so I continued to wait and then another girl walks in who had an appointment two hours after mine and Bella approaches me to do my nails when I specially asked to be with the spanish lady, and tells me the girl who just walked in had an appointment with the Spanish lady too .. so she basically told me she would have to do my nails and not the spanish lady because the other girl was going to be seen by the spanish lady before me. She told me I had not asked to be seen with the spanish lady meanwhile I ALWAYS ONLY ask to see the spanish lady so why would I want anyone else to do my nails. I have witnessed people calling and she does not even annotate the times, names or information she asks for over the phone. After waiting 2 hours there I decided to leave because I was not about to settle for her half ass cleaning job. Terrible customer service, time management and very disorganized. I Would highly not recommend this place to anyone. I could literally sit there and watch TV that's above her head without looking at what she's doing or telling her how I want my nails to be shapped, and she'll do my nails exactly how I want them I just have to tell her the color I want. I have been coming here for about 6 years now and I am utterly disgusted with the way this place is ran. There is no management, the ladies are rude and the language barrier is TOO MUCH to deal with. When Bella is not in the salon it turns into mad house. The nail techs are not organized and every time I call they tell me not to come. There are severely understaffed which makes the wait time 40 mins to well over an hour. I am sitting here now waiting for 30 mins after they told me it would be a 40 min wait (and then she said it's going to be another 40 mins). For no reason. I am the ONLY ONE WAITING. Horrible customer service and BEWARE USING A CREDIT/DEBIT CARD, because they will add an extra top on the card even if you tip cash. Had it done 2x for over $10-$15 and heard other customers complaining to Bella who rudely dismissed them and just said "too bad go to the police." Wait time is always extremely long as well, even if you have an appointment. Gel also seems to chip, which doesn't make sense to me since it is supposed to last. I have been here before and it has been fine (never great but always decent). I just wanted a simple cuticle cleaning so opted for somewhere close. BIG MISTAKE. The girl hacked my skin. My fingers actually hurt because she cut so deep. I asked her to stop cutting so much and so hard and she kept going. The next finger was even worse. She was just going fast and trying to finish early. When she drew blood she didn't even apologize. Horrible experience. This was my second time coming here and I thought everything would be okay. I got my toes and gel manicure done by a woman there (I believe she was Hispanic) and she did a terrible job and on top of that really didn't care. She squared my nails, but when I noticed one of my nails was slanted and asked her to fix it, she got mad. As I was leaving one my fingers started bleeding. I asked her for a napkin and she put some oil on it and walked away. I asked another employee for a napkin and they gave me one. As I went home I noticed most of my fingers started to bleed due to small cuts. Then I also noticed one of my toes bleeding. I called back to speak with a manager and someone answered the phone, told me the manager wasn't in and hung up on me. I called again and they asked me if I wanted to come back, but honestly it would've made things worse. Luckily I live with a nurse and was able to get all of the small cuts looked at and bandaged up. Terrible experience. I came in to get my acrylic tips removed and wanted to do a regular manicure. The lady began clipping the acrylics off BEFORE even soaking them. I regret letting her continue because she clipped my real nail and it started bleeding a lot. I'm missing the corner of my nail now. I was looking for a nice place one day that wouldn't cost my boyfriend -who thought I deserved to be treated- an arm and a leg. I learned that if you want to get stuff done you have to pay the price it deserves. So I traveled all of 30 Ave in Astoria and most were expensive. I was about to give up until I walked into this nail salon. It cute, small, and it wasn't the fanciest but I'm ok with it. The only male who does nails (idk his name sadly) he's amazing!
