I came into Fuscia Beauty Lounge earlier this week for a regular manicure. The establishment is taking Covid-19 protocols seriously and had me wash my hands, take my temperature and sat me in a socially distanced seat before getting started. It is also incredibly clean and a popular salon in the area. As far as a regular manicure, I ended up with beautifully manicured nails. Color selection was great with both OPI and Essie colors available. My biggest surprise came at the time of checking out. While the experience was nice, $15.00 for a regular manicure is a bit steep. That is my only gripe, but definitely worth the spend if it is a place you like and trust. read more

the front desk woman was nice, really wanted to like this place... but the woman who did my pedicure was not very skilled. she cut into my toe so deeply it looks infected. wish i would have read the reviews before coming in... unfortunately i would not recommend. i should probably ask for a refund. read more

They take walk-ins! Location is great as it isn't too far from the subway. Went on a Saturday afternoon and though they were busy, I didn't have to wait. Service is both friendly and nice. I went for a gel extension removal and they were very attentive and made sure they weren't drilling my skin or my nail itself during the process. I appreciated that they did not seem to rush it too much. Thought the price was reasonable as well, however if I were to go back for a manicure, etc. it would be nice to have a price list so you have an idea of what to expect prior to asking for a service. read more

Walk in for a pedicure. This was the most painful pedicure I have ever gotten. 4 of my toes had cuts that bleed and one of my big toes had two cuts that bleed. Every aspect of the pedicure was done with minimal effort. The cutting - several nails are crooked, the filing - top of toes were also filed causing the skin to now be very red, the polish - there is polish on my skin in several places. To say she half a$$ed it is an under statement. The woman talked on her phone or with the woman sitting next to me the whole time. Just because I look like I don't speak Spanish, don't assume. I understood all of the conversation. Would give zero stars if I was able. read more

First of all, if you want to do a regular manicure/pedicure, this might not be the place for you, since they do not even provide dryer fans for the customers. I spend almost ;10 Sitting there blowing on my nails to Make them dry. But of course, it's not enough time. And my polish was damaged. But if you are doing a Gel, or Dip, go for it, because you don't need dryer fans afterwards. And as for Value, not so great as well. They charge $47 for a spa pedicure without massage. read more

The pedicure was standard but the manicure was so butchered -- the polish was so globby! There's a 15% off on their Yelp but their management doesn't accept it and won't take it down. For the price of the pedicure, I'd go but for the manicure, would not return. read more

This was the worst SNS powder gel that I have ever received. I have gotten powder gel at least 20 times and I have never had such a terrible job. My nails didn't even last 24 hours before chipping. 1 nail chipped the next day and then 2 nails chipped within 3 days of getting my manicure. I called the salon asking if they would fix my nails and they said that the wait is too long and to come back on Monday. I made an appointment for Monday and it took them 2 HOURS to fix 4 nails, yes 4 nails cracked in 3 days. The entire time the manager and other workers were guessing who did my nails and thought it was funny that the girl must not have known what she was doing. A few days later another 2 nails cracked. I called the salon again to fix my nails, only 6 days since the original manicure. The manager told me they have a 24 hour warranty and wanted me to PAY $25 to get my nails fixed and they refused to fix them for free. Not only was this the worst manicure I have ever gotten but also terrible customer service. I now have another 4 cracked nail a week and a half later. A $37 SNS manicure is suppose to last 2 weeks and possibly 4 weeks. It is absolutely terrible that this salon can not do a proper manicure or make up for their mistakes. Don't get fooled by the shiny interior, this place is a waste of money. read more

I randomly went into this nail salon while walking by and that will be the last time il be in there. Not clean at all, the lady hurt me twice ..and when i was bleeding .. she didnt even say sorry but continued to sing her music .UNBELIEVABLE! The cashier was rude. My nails looked like my 2 year old did them. ADVICE: be nice to your customer, regardless of their ethnicity.!!!!! read more

I asked in for a pedicure. The technician started digging into my nails. I told her it really hurts and asked her to stop but she continued and ended up cutting my skin in the big toe so badly that she had blood all over her gloves. I told her this was not okay and she just sprayed it with an antiseptic. I'm going to have to keep an eye on it and make sure I don't get an infection. Never coming back here read more

Good quality pedi. I have travelled throughout most of the boroughs looking for economical yet efficient pedicure. I personally don't feel like I should have to pay over 40 bucks to get a respectable pedicure. This spot hit the nail and was on par with my high end pedicure minus the extensive foot rub and meticulous attention to nail shape and texture, though she was attentive. I don't recall much of a foot rub which I enjoy when getting a pedicure. But I will return. They offer beverages and sure hope the wine isn't served in a Styrofoam cup lol read more

I think this place might be OK for a pedicure and regular manicure, but I will never get a color gel manicure here again. I had gone in with a regular color gel manicure on, and the way the lady removed my gel completely ruined my nails. They are paper thin now and it hurt so much to get my nails done after this place. In context, I have had super strong and healthy nails getting color gel for 10+ years which is why I felt inclined to leave this review. I would recommend they use hot towels or plastic gloves to help the gel removal process. There are also new polishes that remove gels safely. The way my previous gel color was drilled off here really thinned my nails to ruin. So upsetting. read more

Been coming here off and on for years but I think the owners just have changed. Woman doing the pedicure was on the phone texting consistently through the pedicure and then she cut me--I've never had this happen before after getting pedicures for decades. She's was obviously very distracted. Not coming back. Businesses should really be instructing staff not to be on phones especially with sharp objects in their hands. read more

You don't find so many nail salons where the employees are so nice and friendly or that the entire staff gets along, or a place they go above and beyond for each and every customer. I am totally in love with this place the atmosphere, employees, how clean and cute it is. They accommodate you as much as they can. Beside offering the best nail work or pedicures they also offer amazing coffee, tea, champagne, wine or even water. The perfect place to get pampered. Angy was my nail tech and she asked me what are the things I like and told me most of the art work she does and with full permission to do as she pleases with the color of my choice she did an amazing job. I will continue to come to this Amazing Nail Lounge where I felt like I was with friends the entire time.... Thank you ladies for everything.... read more

Did my pedicure here with Laura and she took very good care taking out cuticles & fixed a broken nail I had. She was sweet and did an excellent job. The jelly spa pedicure really helped my feet since they were dry and helped me feel very relaxed. Loved their free wine they offered while getting pampered deff will be back read more

Jackson Heights Location- My service was great and my nails look lovely however after picking my gel color I was told it would be a "few dollars" extra because it was a more transparent color. When I went to cash out the price had jumped from $38 to $67 and I was told they had to do a special Russian manicure because of the color- a few dollars consists of perhaps $5 extra not $29 more! The difference between the cost could not be explained either when I asked and was told they had to use another type of basecoat..... The receptionist spoke with the manager who said she wouldn't change the price even though I was deceived. Eventually she offer a 10% discount if I came back. Why would I come back after you misrepresent the service and charged me double? I understand mistakes happen and the woman who did my nail did well enough (I did get cut twice) but to not bend and just expect someone to pay a doubled cost is just not right, in fact its a poor business practice. I will be reporting it to the better business bureau. Never going back. read more

I had a jelly pedicure (where the water turns to jelly) and a gel manicure with Evelyn. She was fantastic! First off, she was very gentle when filing and cutting nails and cuticles. The salon was very busy, but she did not rush and she was very attentive. I do wish there was more foot/leg massage during the pedicure, but otherwise it was great and very relaxing. The gel manicure was great. The gel is smooth and even and not bubbly or too thick. Thanks for doing a great job, Evelyn! The owner or manager of the salon (not sure what her name was) was also very kind and welcoming. One thing to note - the prices are not listed (or at least I did not see them listed clearly). The only other downside was that the salon was very busy...that being said, the nail artist took her time to make sure that both pedicure and manicure were done well; she did not rush just to get to another customer. I have come here multiple times to get my nails done over the past few years. The ladies are always sweet and do a nice job. I came last week to get my nails done and they only lasted less than a day. I don't blame the lady who did my nails, i think it's rather a general problem with them diluting the nail polish too much. I've attached a picture of what my nails looked like one day after they got done. All I did was shower. Im disappointed, and just wanted to voice my opinion hoping the owner takes notice and gets to the bottom of the problem. read more

So i used to go to this place before the pandemic, it was my nails place for over 4 years, really liked it. I just came back for the first time today and sadly the shop service is not the same. I should note first though that the lady who did my nails was good with quality work in timely manner. But now the place doesn't have an area to dry your nails so you just have to stand around. I forgot my flip flops and they dont lend any (they used to) so i have to walk around, even go to the bathroom, with my half my feet wrapped in plastic paper. And lastly i paid $2 extra for a supposedly "fast drying" top coat, i has been over 2 hours and my nails are still no 100% dry. I just ruined 2. Very sad of the lost in quality. Paying more for inferior service. Will have to go somewhere else read more

This place is horrible they don't sterilize their instruments I went there to get a manicure and pedicure the lady doing my feet and nails cut me really bad my toe got infected had to take antibiotics so I called the owner to let her know what had happened left her messages and send the pictures of my toe never got an answer back from anyone the owner clearly does not care about her clients they only care about over charging the clients. Pay close attention when you go to this place make sure the girls are using clean instrument on you. I would not recommend this place at all. read more

My experience here has always been a good one, ladies are super sweet and accommodating. The past 2 visits I got a gel manicure and the ladies did a great job. Went in yesterday and got acrylics with gel done, super happy but today my thumb nail paint chipped off ? Leaving the country today and I hope we can do something about this when I return. I always get a good manicure but, last week I got the worst manicure ever! My nails hurt. I asked to make my nails a little short and she cut all of it. Then she cut the corners of one of my thumb nails off and it's very painful and it's stinging. I am very disappointed because I have never experienced that here before. I forgot the lady's name that did my nails but, she was very busy talking to someone else an accidentally over cut my nails . My nails were so long . Hopefully my next experience won't be bad, and I get my usual nail tech who is absolutely amazing!! read more

Love! This place does amazing work! Came here with my sister and we decided to do acrylic nail extensions (coffin shape, my sister got sharp/round) with gel ($55) and a pedi with French ($20). They took their time, high attention to detail, and we left with exactly what we wanted. My mani has lasted 3 weeks (I had to file them down a bit after week 2) and everyone has told me my nails still look great! I absolutely loved my nail tech but don't remember her name!! I came in asking for the price for a men's manicure. The lady responded with "$18 for gentlemen. It'll be a 15 minute wait." I agreed and said I would return. Upon my return 15 minutes later, the lady said that more customers have arrived so I would have to wait longer. Did she not believe I was returning? Is it because I'm a man? She couldn't compensate or even give me an apology? Instead, I got a careless shrug. So be it, I'll take my money elsewhere. Amazing. Came here on a whim and was so impressed. It's a small salon but the customer service is great. I got a gel manicure with a design and my manicure is going on 1 month and refuses to budge!! Cannot wait to go back I have to take a star away. Went back to half a nail done because j had a design that fell off and the woman in the front was extremely rude and had a bad attitude. For half a nail I waited an hour and a half. When I asked for the length of time I was met with hostile answer. Put a real sour sour taste in my mouth. read more

AVOID, AVOID, AVOID THIS PLACE!! I've been frequenting this places for a few months now when I need my nails done and service has always been slow and with long wait times but against my better judgement I keep returning. Today was the icing on the cake when I went in for a simple Gel Manicure removal. After a 45 minute wait, They literally destroyed my nails by scraping off the gel and then just walking away. 5 minutes after she scraped my nails I asked "am I done?!" as I had been left in the chair not knowing what was next bc surely you weren't going to just allow a customer to walk out in this condition. She finally responded in the little bit of English that she knew "you done just wash you hands" like are you kidding me?! Not only is customer service and English speaking employees lacking here, but basic knowledge how to remove the gel manicure that THEY PUT ON MY NAILS in the first place. My mother and I came here today and are extremely pleased with our services today. The girl at the desk and the two women who worked on our nails were amazing. There was some confusion in using our coupon, because I didn't realize it wasn't for gel. No worries! I'll try a regular mani pedi another day. The coupon excludes gel and acrylics. The girl at the desk was very attentive towards us. Now moving to our mani pedis : We were treated exceptionally well, and Claudia did an AMAZING job on my mother. We will make sure to keep coming back ! I forgot to ask the name of the other lady but she was great too! I really recommend coming here ! Please tip them well, they all deserve it ! Despite living so close to Fuschia, today was my first time actually visiting the salon. It was super busy, but I was greeted right away and was told exactly how many people there were ahead of me. I didn't mind waiting and I'm very happy that I did. I was doing a mani pedi as was my mom. We were both taken care of beautifully. The staff has a great attitude and are very skilled at what they do. I've been to the other salons in the area and this is by far the best. read more

I don't recall the name of the person that did my nails, however she was very sweet and did such an amazing job. Have been going to their Astoria location for years and just went for a pedicure today. First I came 10 minutes early and got reprimanded for it by the owner. My own pedicure didn't start until 15 minutes after my appointment time. If you have the audacity to complain about 10 minutes early don't have your workers be 15 mins late to their Appointments. I Made an appointment and didn't specify spa pedicure (ok my fault) but owner said he would accommodate me but only one person does spa pedicures..how do u have a business and only ONE PERSON does a spa pedicure. Got mansplained how a spa pedicure work as if I don't know anything and the woman who could do it complained saying who she was doing nails for already would take a long time, so I said I would do regular pedicure and the man still complained to me to "explain" everything. You're a business customer is first do not have a condescending attitude because you don't train your workers how to do a spa pedicure. Regular pedicure was horrible, uneven painting and I bled three times and she didn't use the blue antiseptic to clean it. I shouldn't have to tell a worker how to do their job since that's their job. Never will I go here again or recommend people to go here. Update: instead of taking responsibility for just having someone do a bad pedicure with streaky painting the owner is still going on about the appointments which I stated was our fault (see above) and I said I would do a regular pedicure instead without having to be mansplained anything. They care about a job well done but looking at the pictures and the deep cut on my third toe on the right foot it's not even a job well done on a regular pedicure. FYI the reason my mother is a customer of yours is because I recommended this salon so think about that next time you want to use my family member for your response back. Have a good day. read more
