I had my nails done today by one of the sisters . She is one of the owners .This sister yelled at me years ago for leaving gel on my hands and not pre-soaking . The salon was literally dead silent and there was no need to yell at me across the salon . If I would have known that was protocol , I obviously would have mentioned that to her beforehand. Not to mention they have signs all over the salon , so why wouldn't you slap one up with the rest ? Interesting . I still continued to come to the salon because Diana and Rosa are great nail techs . My nails today look like straight garbage. Literally cut me 2x and left glue under my nails . Didn't even bother to clean them up and didn't bother to help me move my stuff to the dryers . I truly feel bad for the nail techs that work there because they watch over them like hawks . They treat the girls like they don't know what they are doing . O wait , forgot to mention she ordered food during my service LOL. Literally can't make it up . Straight up rude and disrespectful. Not to mention I dropped $68 and still tipped her . I was told it would be a 15 minute wait, which was pretty accurate. I chose a color and was taken to a regular pedicure chair (it doesn't have a massage function). The girl who did my nails was extremely rough. I get that they do a "deep clean" but she was definitely digging in way more than I've experienced at other salons. At one point, the girl asked me if I spoke Spanish. I said no, so she asked one of the women in charge to come over and translate. They asked if I was in pain. I told them not necessarily, that I know they're cleaning the nail bed, and that was that. I figured this was normal and part of their process. Like another reviewer commented, I also was not offered a drink - in fact, another woman offered me a drink (in what seemed like an after thought) as my nail tech finished my pedicure. It seemed to be out of obligation at that point as they definitely catered to their other clients (who they seemed to have a rapport with). I paid $18 plus tax (despite me paying in cash) and tipped my nail tech. However, if I had known I would get an infection, I would run the other way. Since the pedicure, my big toe on my right foot was sore. I figured it was the result of her being a little rough. However, when the pain didn't subside on Saturday, or on Sunday, I began to worry. I woke up today with an inflamed, red toenail/toe bed. I have attached a photo to this review so you can see for yourselves. It is extremely sore to the touch - it hurt even putting pants on this morning when the pant leg hit my toe - and I had to ask to wear open-toe shoes to work because the pain when putting on my regular flats was UNBEARABLE. So now I need to figure out what kind of infection this is (could be fungal, could be something else) and treat my toe on my own. I hope I don't need to go to a doctor for this, because then the pedicure will cost me a whole lot more than around the $25 I spent on it. This is unacceptable on so many levels. This is also the FIRST time I have ever gotten an infection from a nail salon. NEVER AGAIN.

The place was busy but not packed, and I was able to get in for a spa pedicure. I choose one that included callous removal which I desperately needed, plus a leg mask and 15 minute massage. My nail tech understood the assignment and went to town on my feet, removing all the rough parts. She gave me an excellent massage, and left my feet and legs feeling like they were brand new. They had a decent selection of colors here as well. After I dried for a while she also wrapped my feet up so that the polish wouldn't get ruined on my walk home. My only complaint is that the space was in need of a cleaning in some areas, but they were also pretty busy so it may just have been that in the rush they weren't able to clean up all the way.
