very nice people and they made my nails beautiful, the place is very clean and make me happy.

Decent nail salon situated on busy Steinway Street. I like coming here because there are so many chairs and pedicure stations so there's rarely a wait. The salon has a wide variety of colors to choose from, and carry both OPI and Essie polishes which are my go-tos. On my last visit here I came at around 12 pm on a Tuesday for a regular manicure and pedicure and was able to be taken right away. I picked out a color and my manicurist got to work on my pedicure. She was very thorough and quick, which I appreciated. I opted for a 10 minute back massage as well while my nails dried which was also great. I paid $45 for a manicure, pedicure and 10 minute massage which I think is more than reasonable for the area. The salon itself is a little run down and colors are disorganized but for the price and service, I'm willing to overlook it. read more

If I could give this place a zero, I would. The associate was really rude after I asked her to slightly fix the nail form. She said they're my nails and hence my problem. They look horrendous. I asked for a fill in on my acrylic wrapped nails along with a matte top coat. (Nails were 2 weeks out) The older man nodded and proceeded to take me to the back. No words were said about pricing *** ( I knew the full in was 45 with gel) 1. My nails were about a Centimeter longer than what's in the picture shown. I asked for him to make it closer to my skin. (No problem with the shape or length) when I went to pay he charged me an extra $5 for a cut down .. o_O I asked the younger man what's a cut down he said when your nails are long and we have to cut them and shows me a size with his fingers of length ... I looked at the older man and asked were my nails that long? Because I came here with not even a centimeter longer than this right now - both men pretended not to speak English. 2. When I asked for matte on the initial conversation before service I should have been told that the top coat is $5.00 extra - not just charged. & the old man took 2 Hours !!! Look at this mess in less than 24 Hours. Nails had bubbles and ripped off. I paid to look like a damn mess -_- read more

I just had TO leave a review! I don't know why there is so much bad reviews because I just LOVE this nail salon! When I came here for my very first time, they were so welcoming and nice! They asked for what I wanted and they had so much colors to pick from! Also went I went into their bathroom, it smelled so fresh, nice and it was so clean! They honestly do such good nails! My nails look so good and it's way cheaper than these other stores that charge $500! They are so welcoming and the place is big and clean! They have lots of room and tables so you don't need to even wait that long to get started on your nails! My nails I wanted was hard, difficult and it took long but the workers were so patient and the manger did my nails past the store closing time because she was so kind and took her time! They always decorate their shop at holidays and in Halloween they had such good decorations and all the kids loved it! It was so welcoming and so friendly! If you want a perfect to go nail shop to go to, it's definitely this nail salon! This shop deserves a 5 star review! Also, most of the bad reviews here wanted to do their nails when it was already broken or damaged! Like it's their fault and why are you doing your nails when it's broken! But I recommend this cause they give massages, waxing, nails, pedicures and more! They are just the best and I fell asleep because of how relaxing the massage was! The waxing does hurt of course, But, they are super gentle with you and try their best for it to not hurt! They have so much accuracy and great talent! The vibes are so cozy and definitely recommend! Please don't try to damage the shop's reputation because they are so kind and they are actually so good. So I don't know why their is bad reviews showing their broken nails like I know but its probably because their nails were already broken and they have been damaged already before they probably went to the shop! Anyways, this is a 5 star shop! I love it so much and whoever is reading this review if you don't believe me come check it out yourselves! read more

Idk why they have such a bad rating this place is the best nail salon I've ever been to. Prices are so ideal (gel pedi $40, reg 27, sns powder $40). I recently moved out of New York to jersey and I still travel all the way over to them because it's not even worth wasting my time or money anywhere else. They treat u like a princess and go out of their way to give you perfectly shaped nails, but what's most impressive is how LONG their nails last. My powder dip nails go weeks and never crack!! I'm not even joking. Been a loyal customer since 2019 and I don't ever plan on leaving them. don is AMAZING Janna is AMAZING I swear I'd die about this salon! read more

Wish I could give ten stars for customer service. Came in for a regular manicure and somehow managed to completely messed up my thumb once I got back to my apartment after 15 minutes of drying. I debated going back, but very glad I did. They were very friendly and helpful in helping me find the color and redid the nail no charge. I have another salon I usually go to with less staff and color options so this will definitely be my back up for when I can't get an apt there or want a more adventurous color. Definitely recommend! read more

I loved this place. Probably won't be coming back. I'm very disappointed in my last nail tech. I've never had her before, and I gave her a chance, but this was not $40 work. I always tip well and still did regardless of this "French manicure." I corrected her several times to the point of exhaustion. Jenny offered to fix it, but after an hour there, I was like "bye, Felicia." Everyone has to make a living, but time to find a new place. read more

This is my favorite nail salon in Astoria! I have been going here for about 4 years and I love it. It's conveniently located for me next to the gym and next to the train. I regularly get gel manicures and pedicures here and they do a great job. Everyone who works here is super friendly and they follow all the safety protocols to prevent spreading covid. I popped off the train and needed a quick pedicure. They took me as a walk in. One thing that really stuck out to me was how clean the salon was and that everything was very sterile. A very nice gentlemen did my feet (bless his heart cuz they was nasty). I was in and out. I noticed some other reviews mentioned a little pricey. Yes, they are a tad bit pricier, BUT BUT BUT think about where that extra couple bucks is going. It's mad clean and It looks like the staff is well supported. With all the politics that go in with nail salons, I'd say this one's on the more ethical side. So if you wanna get your nails done, in a clean, safe environment, this is the spot. read more

I've come here three times in the past five months and they've cut my feet during the pedicures twice. The first time I got a bad infection from the cut on the bottom of my foot that took weeks to heal. The man that did my pedicure today was way too rough and cut me with both the foot file and cuticle nippers. He didn't say anything when I pointed out the blood and kept looking at it like he didn't know what it was. I had to ask the cashier for a bandaid. Now my feet are sore and I have to worry about getting another infection. I will not be coming here again, which is a disappointment because it's so close to home & convenient. There are many other nail salons in the neighborhood, I will find another one. read more

I like this place it's pretty decent. A little pricey for me but I do enjoy that they have a set of nail technicians for hands and a set of nail technicians for feet. I just happen to walk by this place and get my acrylic tips done. The service is friendly they greet you when you walk in and give you a little massage when it's drying. Would give it 0 stars if I could. Julie did my nails and not only were they extremely bad, they ignore your requests and make absolutely no changes. The worst experience in my life. I have been doing my nails for years. First of all, the lady did my pedicure was rude to me the entire time. She cut my toe nail crooked And said thats how my nail is. No it was not like this when I came in I had a nice square shape. She made my nail shape one side round one side square. I wanted french pedicure and she couldn't even do that. Terrible experience. I waited for super long to do my hand - i soaked while getting pedicure i had sns on my natural nails. I wanted new tip set. I had to go across the street they made me wait for hour and no took me. I felt like crying because I had somewhere to be at a specific time. read more

Please just save your time, money and excitement of getting a gel manicure and do not come to sparkling snail. At first I felt bad because I know sometimes things do go wrong, as being a cosmetologist myself, but she didn't ask me if I wanted my cuticles cut or pushed back... it's illegal for them to cut cuticles in the first place. I also wanted designs but they only had stickers (okay.. whatever? That's fine?) she handed me so many sheets that looked like they were ordered from amazon. Even the "blood stopper" seemed fishy..as it clearly didn't do its job. read more

First time I walked in, Nicki did a wonderful job on my coffin shaped fill in. I was sad when they told me she no longer worked there 2 weeks later. The new person assigned to me made the acrylic really thick with more of a square shape than coffin. The third time going, a new lady was assigned where she charged me an additional $5 for coffin shape. Who charges extra for that? I was surprised especially after not being charged the extra on the first 2 occasions. In the end the new lady didn't give me much of a coffin shape either. Spoke to the owner several times. she did nothing to fix the situation and basically told me I could go elsewhere. I wish I knew where Nicki went! I'd follow her! read more

Been going here for years. Jenna and Kim does my nails. Never disappointed. Always make an appointment.

I wasnt going to write a review despite being extremely disappointed by my manicure on Friday but today changed my mind. I got a chrome manicure and a regular pedicure. The lady that did my mani/pedi did a beautiful job shaping and was precise. I didn't even mind when she cut my cuticle because of how nicely shaped my nails were (that cuticle is now infected - photos to come). Everyone had difficulties applying the powder for the chrome effect and by the end of it I just wanted to go home. They kept reapplying powder and by the end whoever was working on it just used a chrome polish as oppose to powder to cover up the mistakes. I honestly wouldn't go back to even get this nail fixed but it does bother a lot to have paid $40 for a manicure that isn't going to last a week. read more
