After my normal salon closed for renovations, I was forced to find a new one. Fortunately for me, this salon was closer and in my opinion the prices are fair for the labor and service these workers provide. It's best to make an appointment for everything, otherwise I've seen them turn customers away from walk ins if they are too busy or have upcoming appointments which is a great sign because that means they take their time and really concentrate on their customers instead of rushing through. You can tell they have a regular crowd that comes but the employees are very friendly and accommodating to every customer that walks in. I get a spa pedi and SNS powder mani and after 2 weeks, my nails still looks great, no cracks. They are very clean using the tub liner and the equipment used are sanitized after every use. read more

Wish I could give Tea Tree nails 10 stars. This review is for pedicures ONLY. Regardless, they are the best pedicures I've ever received. I'm very very picky with my beauty services (hair, nails, skin); in fact I don't even come here to do my gel tips- because I already have a spot for that. However, I wouldn't do my feet anywhere else. While a nail salon might be great for one service, they might suck for another. Where I get my nails done religiously, they just don't do cut it with their pedicures. I can't speak for other services at Tea Tree, but the pedicures here are truly stellar. All the Ladies are thorough, take their time, and are extremely professional. The place is also very clean. Most of the tools they use are disposable (like the files) and they have a plastic covering over the foot bath that is changed every time. They're very precise when it comes to the little details that women like myself cringe over: like they paint the WHOLE nail in its entirety, they go the extra step to make sure that they slough off the dead skin and clean the cuticles. They go above and beyond when taking care of my dogs. They actually give your legs/ feet a massage as part of the regular pedicure, which is rare to find now a days. Other places give your legs a few slaps and call it a day. Ana & Young are by far my faves, and I love that I can just walk in 90% of the time & one of them will be free to do my feet. Got my nails done on Friday, May 10th & had mentioned that they felt weak. By the following Friday, one nail had cracked and came off. By Sunday, May 19th a second nail had cracked by grabbing a railing on a staircase. This shouldn't happen. These SNS nails should be lasting 3+ weeks. My friend goes to another place and has had hers on 4 weeks. I liked that it was in walking distance from my house, but I'm paying $12 more for nails and pedi than my friend. $52 for sns & pedi here. I was planning on writing a review with a higher star rating but after being turned away twice, I just can't justify a higher rating. The first time I came here was for a pedi. I was very impressed that the price was only $17. The job was ok, not the best I've had but far from the worst. They use tub liners and that's a big plus for me. The ladies seemed friendly enough, the place is cute and the operators all have matching handmade aprons. The next time I went as a walk-in again, and received another pedi that was fine. Being new to the area, I decided that this will be my go-to place; but the 3rd time I went I was told I'd have to wait 40 minutes. I found that unusual since it was mid afternoon on a weekday; so I went to a place on Union Tpke. Now comes the kicker. The 4th time I went, I saw one of the ladies walking around outside talking on her cell phone & a customer leaving so I thought these were good signs that I'd get taken pretty quickly. When I walked in I was greeted and told to pick my color. While I was looking at the colors (so-so selection) the lady on her cell phone came in and said, "Excuse me, but I have 3 ladies coming in 45 minutes, there's no room for you." You can't make this up. Not a soul getting a pedi. The ladies were working on clients but the one with the cell phone wasn't. She said, "You should call first." But the first 2 times I wasn't advised I needed to call, and the last time I was turned away I wasn't told to call. So either they're very rich or just don't know how to manage time. I wish I could give this place no stars. I went in to get my legs waxed, since they offer this, and walked out with hair all over my legs. The woman doing my waxing , her name was young, clearly did not know how to wax, since she waxed my legs TWICE in the same spots and all the hair was still there. I walked out and paid for half legs, which she tried to make me pay $20 for. I paid her $15, which she didn't even deserve. Also, I've gotten mani pedis from place and those stink too. At last I had the chance to try Tea Tree Nails after several recommendations. Firstly, the parking lot is so convenient!! Most of the nail salons I've been to have street parking so this is just one less thing to worry about. No meter = no endless search for quarters = no parking tickets = a relaxing visit to the nail salon :) Next, I noticed this place has several manicure/pedicure treatments. Since it was my first visit, I opted for the simple, no-frills pedicure ($16). I got great service from the nail technician and a nice back massage afterwards. Who could complain? I didn't try their manicures this time, but my cousin did and loved it. Really important and I must stress this...nail salon is clean, organized, and well-kept. I was in the area, killing time because I was waiting for my oil change to be done so I decided to pop in to this nail salon! I'd say it was pretty clean, great staff and relatively fast manicure. The only complaint I had was that the manicurist, Anna, didn't cut my cuticles or clean under the nail bed. The regular color gel manicure was $25. I always go by appointment and they always take me in on time. I only go for powder and it's always done by Michael. My nails come out perfect every single time. While my nails are being soaked, I get a 20 minute massage and Michael always knows where to target to release my knots. The staff are friendly. It looks clean but they recycle the bounty's where there's dirty nails that they've been cutting all day and use it to clean people's hands with it resulting in nail fungus so if you want nail fungus then go there cuz you will definitely get them on all your fingernails and when you address it with them they become very ignorant. I recently came here for a basic manicure after work. There was only one girl waiting in front of me, but the rest of the salon chairs were full. I didn't make an appointment, so I ended up waiting over an hour to be seen. At first, the technician didn't realize I had gel polish on my nails and started scrubbing and chipping at them. After she got the polish off, she didn't soak my nails in water or anything. She ended up filing them slightly crooked and the polish started coming off after 2 days. The shoulder and hand massage was the best I've ever had. I only came here because it was on my way home, it had decent reviews and it was open that late in the day (5-6pm). I think I might have had a better experience if I had made an appointment or came earlier in the day. read more

I went for a UV gel permanent french. The technician filed my nails too narrowly and somewhat crooked. The lines for the permanent french were different widths. I told her I liked a thick line and the lines got thinner as she went on. Overall not happy and would not go back. Clean, friendly staff, never pushy with services, clean, did I mention clean? They just got new pedicure chairs and they line the basin with a new plastic liner each time. While the ecological part of me hates it, the part of me that knows you can catch all sorts of things at nail salons loves it. And I recycle to a ridiculous level so I think I balance it out. I almost hate to give it a good review for fear it gets more popular but good businesses like this deserve it. Free parking in the lot. I'm a NYS licensed Cosmetologist so I know how a proper manicure should be done, how the intensivos should be sanitized and stored and they are not up to par. I'll start off by saying that they're always empty at this nail salon but after a bad day at work I decided to go in and get a little pampering to cheer me up since they're right across the street. I got my nails done by Young and she did a horrible job. I pretty much paid $30 for her to just file my nails down and paint them. She didn't even soak my fingers in warm water to soften the cuticles, she just dabbed a little oil on them and pushed them back then acted as if she was cutting my cuticles but only on a finger or two. I didn't even get to wash my hands before she moved on to painting them! The pedicure was just as horrible she didn't ask if I wanted to cut down my nails or not before proceeding to cut them super short, she did the same as she had done with my nails except that she actually wet my feet for like 30 seconds. When I told her I was unhappy she said that they looked fine and to wait for her to finish before saying anything then she totally disregarded me. She finished both my mani and pedi in less than 20 mins. The lady sitting next to me came in at the same time I did we sat down at the same time and she was getting a regular mani and pedi also. Her nail tech started off with the pedi and wasn't even half way done with her by the time Young had "finished" with me entirely. I didn't even let her paint my toenails, at this point I was furious that I just walked out before I blew up on her. Everyone could tell I was highly upset when I left and you could bet your last dollar that I will never be going back again. I had to redo everything myself when I got home!
