This places is great for cheap pedis... interior leaves a lot to be desired and atmosphere lacks relaxation however the pedis are great and cheap. Boxes and things stuffed all over the place and kids watching tablets and phones with the volume cranked up all the way makes it difficult to relax. The quality of the pedi can compare to most higher end places. I was disappointed they didn't clean my pedi bath with bleach, praying I don't get an infection! Pleased with the 20 dollar pedi that I would have paid 35 for at most places. Techs were friendly and nice. read more

Had an appointment for eyelash extensions at 11:10am. Went in at ~11:30am after a 20 minute wait. It's to be expected when they are busy with walk in mani/pedi though. They do eyelashes in this back room where they do waxing, and it's not the cleanest conditions....Everything just looks super dirty...I didn't get a chance to see the materials used for the eyelashes, and the woman just started the process. The first application of a lash made my eyes water SOOO badly. I've had eyelash extensions before, and it never hurt like that. I asked the lady what kind of material the Lashes were made out of, and she said she didn't know....sketchy...After ~35 minutes, the lady said she was done. I thought this was weird since , usually lash extensions take 1-2hrs... when I looked in the mirror, I see that she didn't put on individual lashes, but clusters! I swear these were just the Ardell lash kit. They definitely shouldn't advertise them as eyelash extensions. The $45 are clusters and $80 are the true extensions. The lady said there is absolutely no refunds, so if I was dissatisfied or they started to hurt, to just take a Benadryl. Like what???? The workers were nice, but this wasn't the service I wanted and I definitely won't be returning. read more

Okay so it's Christmas Eve, and 4 minutes after closing I'm wrapping up my mani/pedi, and these ladies & gentlemen working here took an emergency walk in. 3 women needing work done. If that isn't incredible service then I don't know what is. They were also dedicated to getting everything just how I wanted it, from the nail trim to the quality of the application of the gel polish. And they never rushed me to pick a color. I love that. What a stressful day and they helped me feel so relaxed I almost fell asleep. I will be back thank you! read more

I love this place. It's a stone's throw from my house and if the weather is good I can walk there. I've been coming to this place for over 2 years. I did deviate and go to VooDoo Nail Salon, but they have closed down...and I went back to Nail 8000. I love getting pedicures only from here - they do this callus removal thing that makes me want to weep because it's so good. The girls try to be conversational and friendly, but ya know...sometimes I don't want that. The leg massages are great because they promise a set time (think it's 10-15 minutes) of a leg massage and they don't skimp on it, either. They've ruined it for me for other places with leg massages. They do tend to try and push nail art on your toes, but I have to be in the mood for that! The pedicure I choose is usually $28 and after time spent in India, I cringe at the price...but the leg massage...*drools* The girls do try and talk to you during your leg massafe and sometimes I feel a bit anti-social because I just want to take a quick nap, but I chat anyway because they are such sweethearts that I can't help *but* talk. :) I still get my nails done at The Pampered Pinkie! :) Nail polish selection could be better, but it's ok, I've got over 100 bottles to choose from back at the house so it's not like I'm going to be starved for a color! FYI - They don't like it if you add tips on with your credit card - they prefer cash for that. read more

I had a last minute decision to get my toes and nails done and so I called. They knew they closed not to far out but still told me to come over . When I got there they were beyond accommodating and friendly . They were all so pleasant to every patron beyond expectation. I was wowed at their customer service . I've been here a few times now with some friends and I'm unsure if I like it or not. I do think they do a good job with my toes and nails, but the place is a bit dirty and not properly kept. There isn't a cash register. All the money is kept in one of the techs drawers. It's just loose money. Every time cash is needed, the owner has to go there and even if she has a client, he was to stop the service to get change. The tools they use for pedicure is a bit odd. Magazine papers below your feet if you're getting a special pedicure. Small cut up pool noodle to prop feet up while they scrub. (and I'm pretty sure this is what it is), A zester (like the one you use to zest lemons) as a foot scrubber for callus. Not sure how 'to-code' that is. read more

I went here today with my daughter and fiance and I must tell you I was soo impressed by the way we were welcomed to the way the provided there services I live in Maricopa but I will go back to this place I did a Manicur/Pedicure my daughter just did some waxing and fiance had a pedicure even he was pleased I didn't want to give a way my new secret but they deserve to know they are doing a great job. I just moved to Tempe a couple months ago and have been trying to find a new nail salon that's as good as the one I went to in Louisiana. No luck so far. My mom told me this place was great and I was inclined to agree when I saw her nails, so I guess it was just the lady I got. I'd like to say that the staff was very nice and the place looked good. Honestly, everything was great until the lady asked me where I'd gotten my nails done before. I told her about a little salon by a grocery store that I won't be going back to because the girl repeatedly filed my skin instead of my nail and I was bleeding when I finally got out of there. It seemed like two seconds after that the lady took her attention away from the drill and cut me quite badly right beside my nail bed. In fact, the scab just went away and it's been 4 weeks. She immediately apologized, but I felt like she was being extra nice just so she wouldn't lose my business like the other place had. She kept saying that I had such sensitive skin and stuff. Well, anybody's skin is sensitive when put against a nail drill! She put nail glue on it to make it stop bleeding, which stung like hell. Unfortunately, this was at the beginning of my fill so I had to endure another 20+ mins of pinching and prodding on that finger. I was not happy. In fact, I was so unhappy that I failed to notice that they overcharged me until I was half way home. The girl who finished painting my nails wasn't the same one that did my fill. I paid for a gel coating and didn't get it. I wish I had been paying better attention, but I just wanted to get out of there. One last thing, they didn't have UV lights and a teeny tiny little fan is NOT going to dry all the layers of polish, so of course after 10 mins in front of the fan I leave and mess up the polish a bit as I go out the door. I started going to this location since September of this year, I loved my nails every time I got a new set. Recently every time I would get a fill I would have a nail or two break not even a week after getting them refilled (Started to get really annoyed). Just last night I went in to get 2 nails repaired, mind you I just got a fill the 8th of this month. The owner convinced me to just get a fill on all my nails and for the price he gave me I agreed. Owner started on my nail but he wasn't matching them to the shape I had, I switched over to get work done by Tee (she's usually great) but last night I can tell she was a little rushed. By the time it was time to polish my nails I noticed that my third finger nail wasn't filed correctly to match the rest, I mentioned it to her and she said she can do it on my next fill. As she was starting to polish my nails I also noticed the polish I had picked out was starting to dry out, she didn't bother putting and acetone in it to thin it out a bit. I left the location unhappy with what I had paid for. The next morning (today) my nail breaks! So I make an appointment to get it fixed along with the my ring finger nail. When I arrive they tell me I never called and to come back later because they are so busy. What is the point of an appointment if you're going to tell your customer to come back later? Very disappointed in my last 2 visits. They are very nice people and have the ability to do great work but just not this time. read more

They great you by name and always remember your face. I don't do acrylic nails anymore more but if you just let them know what you prefer, they will perform. I'm so mad right now. This effing nail place had me sitting in the water for 30mins and my feet are shriveled and they didnt come over to work on my toes. So I got out of the seat and then they said OH WE CAN HELP YOU NOW and I was like nopppppe I have somewhere to be by 3 and she was like OH WE WILL HAVE YOU OUT BY 3 . And I kept telling them NO they they started rapping away in their language but it's like WTFFFF we even set an appointment and they didn't get me or my sister started. Do Not Go Here!!!!! So my sister in law didn't even finish her nails, the guy working on her to her that "Acrylic nails take longer that's why it takes so long" so he was blaming her for the rest of us not getting in on time. I was expecting to be there for a couple of hours but after my feet being in the water for 30mins and then me telling someone they were in there for 30 mins and she still just walked away...UM NO. This establishment easily had thee nicest, professional staff I have encountered when getting a manicure. The owner and staff were so nice and everyone who came through the door, was greeted warmly and most they knew by name. I knew I had to give a Yelp review immediately when I got home. My only compliant is that one of the hearts on my nails does look a little funny, but other than that I had another great experience. They offer you soda or water to drink and get to know you on a first name bases, and I love that. One lady tonight kept talking and would stop working every time. It shouldn't take two hours for a pedicure. I went here today with three friends to get pedicures to celebrate being finished with our first year of grad school (Woot!). This place was wonderful! The girls who work there were very accommodating, when I called to make our appointments they said there were only 3 people working, when I said I would call them back, she promptly said it would be no problem and that they would make it happen, and they did. It was probably the best pedicure I've ever had. They have 4 different levels of pedicures and I got the level 2 which was 23$. It included a foot scrub, all the normal pedicure stuff, sugar scrub, hot towels, 10 minute massage with oils (which was awesome), and for an extra 7$ the person who was doing my nails (Amy) did a beautiful design on both of my big toes including a gem on each and some sparkle polish along the edges of each toenail. It is so pretty! I will definitely return to this place, it far exceeded my expectations. read more

This is a great place. I've been here many many times and the never fail to disappoint. Love the people here especially Tina. Get her when you come here! She pays attention to detail and is also very nice and friendly. The manager is also great. Everyone is license so they know exactly what they are doing. This was the first time I've ever been here and the staff was absolutely amazing. They close at 7:30 and we called at 6:30 asking if it was at all possible to take us. They were so sweet and even though they were busy, they still promised to take three of us. They started our nails at 7:15 (due to the amount of people ahead of us) and stayed open til 10 for us!!! I have been coming to this salon for nearly nine years and love it... the girls are always friendly and happy to see me when I arrive. The price is great and the salon is clean. Ti, the manager does the best full set I have ever had - perfection! The pedicures are excellent and I am always in there for more than an hour (unless I have to rush off). Also, Ti applies EYELASH EXTENSIONS for only $70 and does a fantastic job. I have never seen a price that low for extensions. The only good thing about this place is the pedicurist Ryan. If you don't get him, don't expect anything special. I have gotten gel manicures here a couple times and both times the gel is cracking off by the following week. Last weekend I had my bridal shower and got my mani done here. I asked for a tuxedo design on one nail, and a bride design on the other. I showed the picture and the nail artist was able to do it, but I told her I wanted the background of the bride to be pink instead of silver so it would show up against the white of the "dress" more. She flat out told me no, that silver is better. I said I would like pink instead, and she still said no. I settled for the silver because I paint my nails about as well as a 3 year old. As the paying customer, I should have the right to choose my colors. I am angry and will not return to this place. read more

I usually go to the same nail salon but I decided to try this place & It honestly was the fastest-sloppiest gel manicure i have ever received. I decided that i would not complain while i was there but call back and speak to the Manager T whom was nice and polite over the phone, She told me to come back later in the day and they would look at my nails and she would fix them herself. When i arrived for the 2nd time that day her and an older man looked at my nails and both proceeded to say "oh they don't look that bad", "oh they look ok", "Its because your cuticles" REALLY? i got a manicure so the nail tech should of cleaned my cuticles! I work hard for my money and when i decide to try new places, I expect them to give me the best service possible so for them so say "They look ok" Is not ok with me. read more

I have been going to this place for years. While I have tried numerous other salons closer to my job in South Chandler, closer to my hair salon in Scottsdale, or even in the same neighborhood as this place & my home, I keep coming back, hence my 5 star rating. Even Dolce's pedis & gel manis don't amount to Nails 8000 in quality (& 2x the price). Keep in mind - while very nice, Ti the mgr is a stickler for cash tips. She's also the best for fake nails (not pedis). I wouldn't regularly see them for my waxing, but Ti is good in a pinch. The gel man is last a strong 3 weeks. The $28 pedi includes hot stone massage. Do it and tip these lovely Vietnamese women well! read more
