My boyfriend and I really enjoyed this place! We had it twice while visiting Cincinnati back in September. The ambiance was casual and comfortable with a trendy flair, and the service was reliable and friendly. The first evening, we ordered the following: -Spicy Margarita (jalapeño infused tequila, lime, agave) -¡Queso! (pico de gallo, melty cheese, roasted poblano, diablo sauce, cotija, crispy chips) -Baja Style (cabbage, chipotle crema, pico de gallo, pickled red onion). My boyfriend got the crispy mahi and I got the crispy shrimp. + side of black beans and rice The second evening we ordered: -Chile-Mango (reposado tequila, gran gala, agave, chili-mango pineapple, lime) -O.G. Guacamole (avocado, onion, lime, crispy chips) -Grilled Street Corn (chili mayo, cotija, lime) -Quesadillas (tortillas, monterey jack cheese, onion, cilantro, guacamole, sour cream, pico de gallo) -Baja Style (cabbage, chipotle crema, pico de gallo, pickled red onion). My boyfriend got the crispy mahi fish tacos again because he loved them so much the first time. We really enjoyed everything! Between the spicy margarita and the chili mango, I preferred the chile mango. I loved the sweetness of the mango paired with a kick of spice. Between the queso and the guac, we both enjoyed the queso more. Although both were great, the queso was more unique and special. Between the shrimp vs mahi tacos, I was happy with my shrimp and my boyfriend was happy with his mahi. The rice and black beans that came with the tacos were delicious. We equally enjoyed the cheese quesadilla. It was so yummy, with that crispy halo of cheese grilled around it. The price of $12 is a bit steep in my opinion since it doesn't automatically come with a side like the tacos do. Once you add a side, it's $18-22 total (or up to $35 if you added chicken to your quesadilla). To go with my cheese quesadilla, I decided to order a side of grilled street corn. The street corn was pretty good, but nothing remarkable. I would choose the beans and rice ahead of it. Over all, prices are pretty high. Enchiladas run $18 for cheese to $27 for seafood. Fajitas are $25 for just chicken to up to $49 for "el jefe" -- a chicken, shrimp, and steak trio. Dinner tacos are at least $16 with an upwards of $24 for just 3 tacos with a side of black beans and rice, just to give you an idea. Regardless of high prices, like I said, we enjoyed this place enough to come twice on our little trip. It's not authentic, but it's a fun place with a tasty selection. read more

We arrived and were told there were no tables for at least an hour. The hostess offered seats at the bar. We thought we would try, but it was hard for the whole group to mingle in the linear seating. We had a drink and decided to go elsewhere for dinner. As I was leaving, I noticed plenty of seating. We were not told of this. I don't know why they didn't want to seat us. We were a nice group of 6 older adults. Maybe they didn't want to serve a large group at 8:45. I would prefer they just said that. We did not address it, just wasn't important as we already chose to leave. Now, while waiting at the bar, we had drinks. They were VERY good. I had the tropical Margherita. It was fabulous. There was also Sangria which was enjoyed by several. This experience with Ian as our server the stop at NADA's nice. Ian was friendly, made good drinks, was accommodating. I just love Nada! One of the most thoughtfully and uniquely curated Mexican restaurants anyone could ever experience. There's 5 locations in Eastern US [Cincinnati OH; Columbus OH; Indianapolis IN; Nashville TN & North Bathesda MD] - I've dined at Columbus and Cincinnati several times. It is always a stellar experience. Very contemporary Mexican feel and edgy fusions of unique, lively flavors make for an always pleasing menu. This time around, here in the Cincy location I just have to shout out my satisfaction for the palate pleasing Tortilla Soup - I mean WOW. This dish stunned from the moment it was presented in front of me, was just as aesthetically amazing as it was in taste. The chicken in this soup, was so good, I'd of loved to have it as a main dish - when a place puts this much love in white chicken breast, that's going into a soup, then you're sure to know they maintain that attention to detail and love for culinary craft all throughout what they're doing. It was nice and refreshing with a sprig of thyme. The fish tacos had batter mahi, a chipotle crema, and a few other toppings and were absolutely delish! Con: Parking can be annoying (just go valet), too much fries with the chicken lol. Decided to try Nada for anniversary. Got a nice table in a more intimate corner of the place but in hindsight would have asked to sit upstairs. Our waiter was a gem with explanations, recommendations, and quick service. We got the pork belly tacos and Peruvian chicken. The tacos were pretty amazing with the blend of tastes being perfect. The chicken was super tender and lightly flavored with great dips, just wish instead of so many fries a veggie might be included. Drinks were a good price and my Caipirinha was perfect. A short walk from my office in downtown Cincinnati, I stopped into Nada with some coworkers for dinner. Nada is easy to find as its shares the block with the Aronoff Theater. The place was packed as there was a "Bluey's Big Play" (what ever that is) bringing in a pre-show dining crowd. Nada has a large seating capacity with the added outside dining and there is plenty of parking nearby. We started with some yummy drinks and fresh guacamole (I would have gotten a pic if we weren't so hungry), it was some of the best I have had. I finished with the Tacos Al Pastor which come with black beans and rice on the side - very yummy. Overall great experience for anyone doing an after work/pre-show/lunch run. We visited after seeing Six next door. We know that before and after shows is probably their busiest time so keep that in consideration. It was a beautiful atmosphere, vibrantly decorated, really cool chairs and seating. Our server was very nice, very patient with our table of 6. With that said, we received our food prior to receiving the drinks, so the bar must have been pretty backed up. We ordered the chips and dips for the table, all of which were very good. I ordered the quesadilla, which I'd describe as okay. I thought taco bell's quesadilla is better, so probably not my best ordering choice. I wanted to try the enchiladas but the server said it's a much bigger portion and I was nervous that I wasn't that hungry. The quesadilla is tiny, basically two taco sizes tortillas folded. My friend ordered the cornbread which she loved but I did not try. Another friend said their rice and beans are amazing. I think they are probably a great spot if you go all out, order the chips and dips, the big entrees, share with the table, etc, I think our group just did it wrong. read more

Took 30 minutes -at a not packed bar- to get a beer. We ordered food and took 45 minutes to come out but the person next to us, a solo, ordered the same exact thing.... Came out in 5 minutes. I came here for my college graduation dinner with my family (from out of state), and everyone LOVED Nada! I had made a reservation prior since we were coming on a Friday night. We arrived early, but were still seated right away, and had a nice, private table on the second floor. My mom got the sangria blanco, which came with peach nectar in it--delicious. One of the best sangrias I've ever tried. I got a pineapple marg which was also fantastic. For appetizers, we split the trio chips and salsa, and ceviche. Everything was great! This was one of the best ceviches I've tried so far in my career. I got the chicken al carbon tacos, which were also amazing. My dad got the same thing and raved about them. Our server was also great, and super friendly. My family and I really enjoyed our experience here, especially as they are not native Cincy residents. They mentioned that they intend to have me take them here again, the next time they come back to visit me in Cincy! Our visit was to celebrate my husband's birthday! I was greatly disappointed. The food was subpar. Customer service was excellent. I got sizzling fajitas with chicken. The chicken was dry as a piece of wood! This is a lower version of Mi Cozumel. Tried many things off the menu, and most were average at best. Portions were quite small for the price. If you do go, you have to get the Brussels sprouts though. Possibly the best I've had. There is some nice outdoor seating. I'm a draft beer drinker and they only have bottles, which stinks. Cocktails were weak. My steak tacos were the most disappointing. $24 and I've had much better fast food tacos. Super skimpy on the steak, and heavy on the sour cream. The ceviche was also below average. And I didn't want to waste the food so I tried taking the ceviche across the street to my hotel and they wouldn't let me take it even though I only had 2 bites. Quite frustrating and unaccommodating. Having an anniversary date with my boyfriend in Nada. Highly recommend this restaurant for a casual dinning or date night! Crispy Pork Belly Tacos: 4/5 - The tacos' topping (guacamole+rajas+cilantro+red diablo salsa) is at a perfect ratio! My bf is not a big fans of guacamole and I'm not a big fans of cilantro but the ratio of the toppings is acceptable!) - The pork belly is little dry (personally prefer juicier meat) - All tacos will come with 3 same tacos per order. They didn't do mix and match. So if you want to try other tacos you can order a few plates and share with friends. Peruvian half Chicken: 4.5/5 (Beer can roasted + aji verde + herb papas + Fritas + aji panca) - The chicken is juicy and the seasoning is perfect! - They come with a huge portion of fries! We have to take half of it home lol Recommend 3-4 persons to share this plate. - The dipping sauce on the side are mayo base. Not sure what they made of but definitely delicious! The only restaurant/bar that knew how to make a good mix drink. And not to mention the only place that had salt and tahini for the margarita rims. Jordan was our server and took great care of us. Our waiter and the waiter-in-training were both very helpful in offering their suggestions of favorites, and answered all questions we had about the menu. My friend and I each ordered the Pink Grapefruit margarita, which had blanco tequila, fresh lime, and grapefruit sorbet. We then had chips and their trio of housemade salsas. I loved having three to try from, and especially loved the spicy corn one. We both decided to order a taco box (2 tacos with your choice of side) - I ordered the mahi, she ordered the pork pastor, and we shared so that we could each taste one of each. Back again after 2 years! The menu is completely different than the last time we visited. While we missed some of our favorite items from the COVID Era, once again we were blown away with incredible quality and flavor of the current offerings. The service was above and beyond (thank you, Alex). The atmosphere is the best. We enjoyed dinner inside and then indulged in dessert out on the patio. The cocktails were stellar as was everything. That fabulous happy hour is no more, even if they show it online. One menu for everything, and its not that big. Also, make a reservation. Three women there when it opened at 5 were told no to a indoor table cause they were booked inside. Its HOT and we have an air advisory, but there are plenty of outside tables available. I just bellied up to the bar, with very restrictive seating. Had a Chili Mango margrita. Sweet and sour and oh so good. Ordered quacamole, remembering how it was served with fresh veggies. Not anymore, comes with chips. But still, PDG. Shrimp cocktail was the bomb...very large shrimp cooked to perfection. So two app, 1 drink pre covid would have set me back aboug $15. This was $50, but very good food. I miss the good old days of the best happy hour in town. It's still one of my favorite restaurant in downtown Cincinnati. Stopped by Nada for a post-show dinner at the Aronoff Center next door. It was pretty booked for Saturday evening at 10pm but luckily we had reservations. For starters we ordered the chips with trio of sauces (mind to wild) which were tasty but even the wild wasn't exceptionally spicy. We also shared the crispy Brussels sprouts, Baja fish tacos, and Mexican corn. The fish tacos were fried perfectly but could have used a bit more sauce and the coleslaw was was pretty flavorless. However, the crispy Brussels sprouts while absolutely well seasoned and tasty, were not that crispy at all. I suggest adding the pickled onions and sauce on the bottom/sides and placing the sprouts on top. For dessert, the churros were a hit and I loved the caramel and chocolate sauces that accompanied them. No pic because we demolished them with a quicknes. Lastly, my one minor complaint is we were sitting for about 10 minutes when another party came in after us and received their chips and salsa first. However, the manager promptly apologize and comped it. Service from then on was actually great and we would definitely add Nada to our rotation. read more

Nada's menu has gone through a couple major overhauls in the 10+ years I've been occasionally coming here (and not for the better, in my opinion), but fortunately through those changes their patio has remained one of the best in Cincinnati. That patio - an oasis of greenery with comfortably spaced tables and relaxing atmosphere that's perfect for a leisurely but casual dinner. I would characterize the food as upscale, Americanized Mexican. Within that category, the food is consistently good. The chips & queso is excellent and the tacos are tasty (although I much preferred the era of ordering a few different individual tacos). The enchiladas are enjoyable but not stellar - the couscous inside is interesting and works well, but there's too much of it relative to the amount of meat, cheese, and veges. The portions are not huge, so there's a decent chance you'll still be hungry, in which case the churros are great. The cocktails are good but pricey - while they emphasize their margaritas, I personally prefer their mojito. One other detail I didn't appreciate when I was younger is that Nada has a surprisingly great kids' menu, with a good selection of high-quality, well-prepared options. read more

The chicken, quesadilla tasted just like all other places, to me it was pricey for a small plate that did not include sides (rice or beans) and up charge for chicken ($17 -18.00). The food, ambiance, and service were all wonderful! Fun cocktails, excellent queso dip (with Gouda cheese, nice twist!), a really tasty street corn side dish and cucumber salad. The churros were fun. We had the fajitas and I thought they were just ok. Especially after having those flavorful sides and queso, I was just expecting more. The reason I only gave four stars is the value. I found it all very over priced. Those fajitas were $30 and $38 each (chicken and steak). The size of the salsa cups were like sampling sizes. I love upscale restaurants and I'm happy to pay when it's worth it. I would come back to Nada for a drink and some sides, but I'm going to the local Mexican joint for dinner. read more

It took WAY too long for the drinks to come. The guacamole portions on the appetizer were laughably small. The cocktails were excellent and the braised chicken enchiladas were very good. Living in Cincinnati you hear about Nada being so great and it fell well short of that classification. The training of the sales staff is poor. The music was so loud we were relocated upstairs. This restaurant is mediocre and there is much better value going to an excellent traditional Mexican restaurant. No surprise the Indianapolis and Columbus locations went out of business. read more

What's not to love about this place! Between the beautiful interior and incredible service oh did I mention the yummy food? I've eaten here several times and loved my experience. My lunch Monday was no exception. I ordered the caramelized cauliflower taco lunch box and it came with a side. I ordered two sides- rice & black beans without cheese and pickled cucumbers. My tacos were minus the creamed goat cheese and cheese topping. Because I knew it would be dry without the cheese I ordered the trio of salsas and added those to my tacos. One word- Delicious! For my sides the black beans and rice were perfectly prepared spicy but not too much. The picked cucumbers and red onion had a bite but were not overwhelming. I highly recommend them. We started our meal with a large order of perfectly prepared guacamole which had sliced radishes and cucumbers on it. Plus the crispy and salty homemade chips I enjoyed with my guacamole and throughout my meal. Look forward to my next visit with them when I'm in Cincinnati. Keep up the great work Nada! read more

This wasn't my first or best trip to Nada, but it was still a great experience! Made reservations before a concert and the staff got us in and out quickly. A group of us shared a variety of appetizers, including jalapeño cornbread (delicious!), Mac and cheese (just ok for me), ceviche (not my favorite ceviche out there but not bad), and shrimp cocktail (great!). There were a variety of drinks involved and all of them were excellent. In town for a business trip and decided to drop in on a Saturday night. The restaurant was bustling but as a party of one, I was immediately able to be seated at the bar. I started with the Chile-Mango margarita... And proceeded to drink only those all night. Delicious, boozy, not too sweet, and garnished with a slice of pineapple. For dinner, I ordered the lamb barbacoa and esquites. The esquites were exactly as expected, but WOW that lamb barbacoa was something else! It was served with corn tortillas and toppings of house made mole, avocate sauce, and habanero pickled onions for a kick. The lamb was incredibly tender and delicious. I even ordered extra tortillas so I could savor it as long as I could. If you're looking for upscale Mexican with a cool, loud vibe, this is definitely the place to go! read more
