Really great service. Chimis and Burritos were our order. Generous portions for both dishes, great Verde sauce. Chips were crispy and salsa was very tasty. Would recommend to anyone visiting Cedar Point, it's right at the end of the Causeway. Skip the chains on 250 and come here. read more

Ok great food and service. The supreme nachos and shrimp chimichanga were outstanding but the margarita tasted like soap. Worst margarita ever. Get a corona and enjoy the awesome food. read more

Service was just average, and so was the food. My pork carnitas were nice and tender but my friend's quesadilla was bland and came with one tiny slice of an under ripe tomato. The margaritas were small but tasted good. read more

Holy guacamole!! After a day at Cedar Point, this was heaven. The food is fantastic! Not touristy stuff. Our server was pleasant and helpful. Did I mention the gigantic beers?? read more

First time here as we wanted to try a new Mexican place in the area. Upon first walking in, the atmosphere was kind of "eh" - disheveled and missing that latin flair you'd expect of a place like this. Wasn't really blown away by the food - it was your average Mexican food. Service was great. There were lots of large groups with kids and young people - likely Cedar Point guests and local baseball teams. It suits the purpose for tourists looking for easy and decent. read more

Was in town on vacation at Cedar Point and came here for lunch. When we got here there were only 2 cars in the lot which made me skeptical. But after eating there I figure Nachos is just the best kept secret in Sandusky. It was the best Mexican food I've ever had. I had the chimichanga and my friends had fajitas, enchiladas, and nachos. All 4 of us were extremely impressed. Me and one friend each got a sopapilla for dessert. When they came out one friend who didn't get one was asking for one before the others hit the table. I would most definitely recommend coming here. Prices are also very fair considering the price gauging that goes on around Cedar Point. My whole meal including dessert was only $11. If you are a fan of Mexican food you must try Nachos. read more

I gave this place 2 stars only because they were reasonably priced. The food was less than yummie. Salsa is horrible. I'd eat at McDonald's before I'd come back. read more

This is by far the best Mexican food in town. Drink prices are very good and food prices are great for what you get! The guacamole was very fresh and so was the food. Was very impressed. Living around here I'm not sure how I missed it but I will definitely be back. Staff was very friendly, our waitress was excellent!! You won't be disappointed read more

Worst experience I've ever had dining out anywhere. The server appeared "medicated". She overheard us saying we thought the chips seemed a little stale...she brought us out a another basket. As she walked up to the table she grabbed chips out of our basket and began eating them. My jaw dropped as I watched her munch on the chips from the basket she was about to serve us. As she went to set them down she says (with chips in her mouth) "I had to try them and see what you were talking about". We told the manager and said we no longer wanted to eat there. He charged us for beverages and the queso dip we didn't enjoy seeing how his server enjoyed our chips. Wish I could've rated them zero stars! read more

Very yummy enchalidas, price is cheap especially for the tourist area. Hope this place is here for a very long time because it will be added to Cedar Point traditional eating places! read more

Great Mexican food. Really polite and upbeat staff. Husband had a steak quesadilla which had very fresh looking pico sauce, and quite uniquely used poblano peppers instead of green peppers, which have better flavor, and less metallic aftertaste. The cheese dip was fine, but be aware it had no peppers in it. I asked for the hotter salsa as recommended by another yelper, and was not disappointed- it was delicious. Recommend- reminder: when Cedar Point opens, expect it to be packed! read more

Great Mexican food and great service. If you are from out of the area and looking for Mexican this is the place to go.

I love this place. Their food is amazing and service is great. People are so friendly and food comes out fast. Food is authentic and delicious. I definitely recommend it. Totally kid friendly. Super cute place. Probably my favorite place to eat in sandusky. I recommend the queso cheese dip!! It's delicious. read more

My wife, daughter and I really enjoyed the visit. If you are looking for spicy Mexican food, this might not be the place for you. Two of our three prefer mild and this was perfectly mild while being delicious and authentic Mexican comfort food. We especially liked the queso chorizo dip. The burrito and carnitas plate were great. The drink prices are very reasonable. The waiter was fantastic; very attentive. Loved the music playing in the background. read more

i'm a local and this is my favorite mexican eatery! service and food is always top notch!

Ordered the Dinner For Two which was plenty for my 12 yr old & me. Nice sampling of Mexican food. No cilantro in anything - yeah!

Don't let the outside fool you. Inside you will find a simple, clean setting with very friendly and attentive staff. You will also find the most delicious authentic Mexican food, including free chips and salsa. It was fresh, plentiful and absolutely delicious. read more

This place is awful! Whoever gives them a 5 star rating is FULL OF IT! Upon before walking in, I immediately knew it was going to be an awful lunch. Figured I'd give it a chance.... So I walk in and want to walk out, cheap decorations, odd lighting, looks like a 2 year old birthday party. Restaurant was completely empty at lunch time!!! I'm sat down, get watery salsa with some sad excuse for guacamole. I'm not a chef but isn't guacamole traditionally made with small diced onions, tomatoes and smashed avocados with a half lime. Nope. Not here. Just store bought puréed avocados and dime sized tomatoes. Literally dime size cut tomatoes. More tomatoes the guacamole! What the heck?! The only positive experience of my lunch was, my server. She was okay. Avoid this place and ignore all the other reviews. People clearly don't go out often if they think this place deserves even a TWO star. read more

You will not be disappointed, everything was amazing from the cleanliness, the food, the service they provide. We were looking for a place to go after being at cedar point all day, many places we called there was over 1 hour wait so we decided to go to nachos. Everyone in my party got something different and we all loved our meals. My nephew was really hungry and the waitress brought him a banana to hold him up which I thought was really nice. Not sure if it was a waitress or the hostess she was amazing with the kids in our party, after dinner he was getting ancy and he didn't want to sit so he started walking around, she put him on her lap and brought crayons and kept him entertained. You will not be disappointed with this place. read more

Great local find! If you like authentic Mexican go here. Service is great!! Salsa is good. Ordered the speedy Gonzalez so I could get a taste of everything as we are out of towners. The refried beans were delicious. You have to eat here! read more

Amazing food & wonderful service! They were so helpful in recommending dishes. It was quick and courteous when we needed a late night bite after a fun day at cedar point! read more

Didn't care for them when they were on 250 but they stepped their game up!!! Seafood Mocajete was amazing!!!!! The beans are better rice was good no complaints!!! read more

This was my first time visiting this place and it was a shady place for tourist! They charge for salsa, lettuce, tomato, everything that comes on a taco! The meat wasn't seasoned. Over 10 bucks for a steak burrito that was suppose to be a large 12 inches. Average size if not smaller! About 3 strips of steak. My friend order the steak tacos and was charged for everything on the taco. The quality of is not worth the price. The customer service was great! Just like buying a used car! I recommend skipping this place!!! read more

After spending way too much money on terrible food at Cedar Point my wife and I decided to stop here, based on previous reviews I was excited. We both love Mexican food and eat it frequently. The service was pretty good, the waiter was very nice so I was encouraged. The chips were pretty standard, the salsa was ok but had no spice whatsoever. We ordered some cheese sauce for the chips, it was pretty good. We both ordered some enchiladas and unfortunately they were just ok. I don't want to give the impression that the food was bad.....it wasn't. It just wasn't... that good. Frankly, I just don't understand the other reviews on this place... Perhaps the people posting really don't know what good Mexican food is supposed to be.. Anyway, it's a heck of a lot better than any food option inside of Cedar point, but don't expect to be blown away. read more

Omar, our waiter, was awesome and knowledgable. Made recommendations. Hubby got the chimichanga dinner, and I got the chicken quesadilla. Delish! Chips and salsa were good. read more

Found through Yelp. Our hotel people had not heard of this restaurant, but there were good Yelp reviews. Glad we tried it. Kids and adults enjoyed their meals, and the staff was very friendly and attentive. Will definitely return when back in the area. read more

Tasty hole-in-the-wall Mexican place near Cedar Point. Everything we ordered was pretty 3-4-star-ish, but, after a day at CP, I was still hungry. I ordered a taco (street taco-style) with carnitas, cilantro, onions, lime and guac on corn tortillas and OH MY GOODNESS! Put this on your menu!! 5 stars. Excellent. Thank you, Nachos. read more

Great food and service. Definitely recommended if you want affordable delicious authentic Mexican food.

Nachos is a clean brightly painted restaurant just a few miles from Cedar Point , The waiter was right on top of things taking our order and getting our drinks, he was outstanding. I had the beef burrito and it was mild to say the least I could have stood a little hotter spice. I received plenty of food which was a good thing, because I could not have eaten any more. read more

Service and food was excellent. We were staying at the Great Wolf Lodge and this restaurant was definitely worth the drive.

Tell you what, we eat a fair amount of Mexican food from very Mexican dominant neighborhoods and this place held their own. In Sandusky of all places! We even got ours to go as the kids melted down after being at Cedar Point for the day and it was good at the hotel too. Eat here with confidence. read more
