Was a little skeptical of this place, but have been back since the first try. We went when it was just opening and when it was fully, bit a table available, busy. Food was good, but nothing stood out taste wise. Although no one rings you up, the staff was friendly and helpful. read more

Overall a nice quick spot for Indian with a very vibrant and cool atmosphere. You order using one of the 2 kiosks and wait for your food. They offer alcoholic beverages which is a plus. Only critique is wanting a bit more protein in the bowls rather than relying on the rice/cabbage salad to fill up. read more

Naansense - Bowl with chicken tikka, Bira beer (a plus), garlic naan & 2 samosas - Indian Near Me - Naperville, Illinois

The food was really good and this is not a national chain restaurant. I had the chicken Tika Masala and was served a reasonable portion. The Naan bread was excellent along with tamarind sauce. It does have several locations, but limited to the Chicago area. I would certainly recommend this overlooked restaurant. read more

Naansense in Naperville is definitely worth a visit, especially if you dine in. I recently tried their to-go variety meal, which included shrimp tikka, fries with mac and cheese, cabbage, and basmati rice. While the portion sizes were on the smaller side, the food itself was flavorful and satisfying. I opted to order inside rather than using a delivery app, and the self-service process was straightforward and efficient, with about a 10-minute wait time. The dining area features artist-decorated walls that contribute to a pleasant ambiance, even though it's not fancy. If you're looking for a casual spot with good food, Naansense is a solid choice. Dining in might enhance the experience even more! read more

Love eating Indian food and this place definitely didn't disappoint, I think pricing is good for the amount and quality food they provide. The service is good and so is the cleanliness of the place. Loved the Samosas. Have ate here twice & I'd definitely come back. read more

The font of the logo is horrible. Everything else about this place was great. Order and pay at the kiosk. The manager was great explaining the items and possibilities. Food was excellent! Highly spiced. Great sauces available on the side. Reasonable pricing. Nice looking dining space. Vestibule would've been better on this cold day. read more

Great food good service clean just all around a good place to have a good meal we were impressed .

Tried this place after the gazillion IG reels seen on this place. We went on a Saturday evening which was a mistake especially with kids. We live up north so this is a hike to get to. The food and the thali was worth the price. I'm knocking one star of due to the seating situation. It was horrible. There are people who finds seats and reserved them before even getting their food. Asking folks if they were almost done with their meal was so awkward especially since our Thalin was ready and there were no seats! The service was quick and good but management needs to find a solution in terms of seating( this ain't India!). For that reason, we won't be back- didn't think it was amazing to come back from the NW suburbs read more

It was super busy on a Friday night. It's a fast casual Indian restaurant with an order kiosk. You may want to save your table before ordering as the place can fill up quickly. As the name of the restaurant suggests, the naan is terrific and made fresh. The wrap is basically an Indian burrito in a naan. The curry dish was a little on the salty side but tasty. Probably prefer this as a lunch spot than a dinner sit down restaurant. read more

This place is so beautiful! When you walk in the decor is beautiful and authentic. You order thru a kiosk and wait for your number to be called. It was busy when we went so it was about 20 minutes until we got our food. When we we got our food we were not disappointed. We got the chicken tikka masala meal which came with a side of garlic naan. The naan was so soft and perfectly garlicky. The tikka masala was a bit more watery than I liked but the chicken was AMAZING! The mango lassi reminded me of summer it was delicious, wish I didn't share it! Overall can't wait to go back and try different entrees! read more

Was so excited to try the new Indian spot and it totally lived up to my expectations!!! The decor inside was very well thought-out and on brand. The service was quick with two self-ordering stations. The food was delicious (epeciay loved the tikka chicken curry) and the naan was extremely fresh - I could've eaten unlimited amounts of it! Can't wait to go back :) read more

Great fast casual restaurant. The service is great and everyone is really friendly. The chicken kebab platter comes with a lot of food and garlic naan is the best part. Chutney bar has some good choices. read more

We tried this new restaurant last week. We ordered a few curries and naan and the masala fries. Everything was delicious. The naan is made fresh to order. I really loved the garlic yogurt dipping sauce I want to slather it on everything. We will definitely be back to try some of their other foods! I only wish they had an actual person to take your order and not just an iPad screen because if you have questions nobody is really around to ask just the people cooking in the kitchen. It's kind of weird having that as your only option to order especially for a new restaurant. The iPad asks you to tip it which I guess we did for the people cooking but it's kind of funny to tip an iPad and pick up your food at a counter and never speak to a human. read more

This place is AWESOME! The menu is a bit larger than what you see online. We got this platter where you pick 2 or 3 kebabs, 2 sides, and it also comes with rice and Naan. Everything was great. Had the lamb with the Tikka sauce, paneer, and shrimp. Garam Masala side and the Mac n cheese. I'm assuming they have the Mac and cheese for kids who aren't accustomed to Indian food/spices. I probably wouldn't order the Mac next time because I go for more authentic items. But, my young son was with us, so we got it for him. However, he ate EVERYTHING! Nice little chopped cucumber and tomato salad were part of the platter, I believe. The platter $40 definitely feeds 4 people, and you'll have plenty to take home. Great deal, IMO The manager, Andy, checked every table to see how guests were enjoying their food and offered customers samples of their sauces to try next time. I can't remember the name of the sauce he brought over to us. It was "a little bit spicier sauce behind the Tikka. It was phenomenal. Loved the tamarind, the curry mayo, and the garlic yogurt. I REALLY, REALLY hope this place takes off because I will definitely be back. read more

Naansense - The $40 platter of all kinds of great stuff. Lamb tikka in the middle, paneer, and shrimp kebab. Salad, Mac and cheese rice, garam masala. - Indian Near Me - Naperville, Illinois

Food was good! I think the bowl is the best value! Also you can customize how spicy you want it to be which is nice! I was super impressed by how my hair and clothes didn't smell afterwards! Their vent system must be pretty good! My only complaint was that they had someone cleaning the carpet, like dusting and flapping the mats while we were eating. I think it was a third company, but the staff didn't even ask them to take it outside or away from the dining area. read more

Naansense - Signature Bowl Tikka - Indian Near Me - Naperville, Illinois

We got takeout and it smelled amazing on the car ride home. I had this place on my list of places to try in Naperville after seeing multiple Instagram posts, but was a little underwhelmed with the taste of the food. Service was quick but the chicken had quite a smokey taste to it which I wasn't expecting. The naan was very good, but the tikka itself wasn't comparable to other Indian restaurants I've had. While I did mix my rice into it, I was hoping the sauce would be thicker. I'd be open to try their paneer if I end up visiting again. read more

Amazing food, but they forgot an item from my order both times I ordered :( Chai the first time, fries the second. Disappointing service.

I'm obsessed. I loooove Indian food so I was excited to try this. I got the Tikka bowl with chicken and mango lassi. It was DELICIOUS and fresh. My mom got the same thing but with chickpea fritters which were also amazing. We were also welcome to help ourselves to water and more sauces. The atmosphere is also lovely it's very clean and nice and the service was excellent. 10/10 would recommend. read more

Got the samosas, Vindaloo and kebab. All were great, service was friendly. Music was a bit on loud party mode side, but didn't mind as we were take-out ordering. Came home and noticed they didn't give us the naan. Lucky we had some at home we can toast up, but what naansense is this. How do I do Indian food without naan. read more

This location provides excellent customer service, a vibrant and clean atmosphere, and fantastic meal options. The chicken kebab was cooked to perfection and was flavored nicely. Nice local spot with tasty food. Excited to return and try more menu items. Also loved the sauce bar, they were delicious.

For my first review I failed tremendously because for one, I didn't take any good pictures and three I DIDN'T TAKE ANY GOOD PICTURES!!! I honestly didn't expect to even do this, but the food was so damn good, it made me download Yelp just to tell everyone how incredible it was! To start, I'm a picky man child, I eat burgers plain, I order chicken tenders from fancy restaurants, I've even preferred my steak WELL DONE...oof I know right. Well, in the last few years I've done some soul searching and growing up and I've moved beyond all that which has helped me enjoy places like this. I've never been to an Indian restaurant before, living in a town of 400 people makes my choices for dinner consist of gas station pizza or McDonalds so when we rolled up to a strip mall for work lunch I was like, ok this is kinda cool, country boy in the big city!! We walked in and it was this quaint little place with chairs that look like my big ass is going to break them if I sit on them and decor that matched the restaurants theme. I waddled over to the ordering Kiosk (way in the back) and stared at the menu which was filled with unknown text to me. Tikka, Paneer, Lassi, uhhh wut? Through my experiences in life I heard the word Tikka before, so my mind quickly ran towards something familiar. I ordered the Tikka bowl W/ Chicken pressed a bunch of buttons grabbed a fountain drink and sent it off!!! Let me tell you, when this rang up for less than $10 I was worried that either the portion was going to be small, I pressed the wrong button, or they are just that damn cheap! I grabbed my drink and sat down waiting for order #23, the cashier yelled #29!!! We have a question about your order...way to go dummy!! Well, that dummy was me. A tip for ordering here, the buttons you press on the kiosk is not to ADD ingredients to the bowl, it's to take them off, so here I was pressing all the stuff I wanted, but in reality I removed everything. She seemed annoyed at first but was quick to explain to me what the issue was, great recovered and response, I felt less stupid but still embarrassed. My order finally came up and it was a massive bowl filled with a dozen different toppings on a bed of basmati rice. I looked at the bowl with my nose turned up because I'm not a big risk taker when it comes to food, so with this thing piled high with 12+ unknown ingredients I was hesitant. But that first bite caused my head to explode. The chicken was covered in this orange creamy sauce of love (I don't know the real name, so we will call it love sauce) It had corn and pickled onion and a mint yogurt sauce, cucumbers which I think are nasty but gave this dish a delightful fresh taste, which shocked the hell out of me. Overall I've never had so many ingredients in one bowl actually bring the flavors of each other out and not turn into this big glob of mess that tasted like a one note bowl after 4 bites. Until the very end and every bite was a different experience, for the price and quantity I will 100% be back and glad that this was my first review. One of my coworkers got just a bowl of the chicken and love sauce and a side of rice and that looked more up my alley so I want to try that next. If you are looking for the perfect portion for lunch at a price that is incredible. Do not hesitate to check this place out! read more

Naansense - Tikka Bowl - Indian Near Me - Naperville, Illinois

The food's fresh and delicious, with huge portions! Monday's half-price bowls are amazing. And the manager's a sweetheart, always happy to help. Love this place! read more

Naansense strikes as a restaurant on the cusp of earning a perfect five-star rating, showcasing great potential with just a small margin for improvement. Opting for the thali to sample a variety of dishes, we noticed a slight redundancy in flavors. This was primarily because the chicken used across different curries is the same as the chicken kebabs, making the distinct korma sauce less impactful. It seems like choosing a bowl or wrap might offer a more power packed flavor experience. For those considering the thali, a tip would be to not get the same protein in your curry and the kebabs. The assortment of dips, from the rich tomato to the zesty green, were all standout, offering a unique palate of flavors. Naansense is an excellent gateway for anyone new to Indian cuisine, though it's worth noting that they don't shy away from spice - every dish carries a bit of fire. Which we love so no complaints there! read more

Wonderful and fast! Went for lunch and would definitely go again. Wife had the tika masala chicken, son had a chicken kabob, daughter had the chicken wrap and I had the lamb vindaloo. Also had an order of fries and mango drinks. Great food. Clean place. Try it out! read more

Good food but need more curry options. Limited selection available .......................................................

Tried first time. Agreed with some reviews on the price and food. The price is definitely high, considering a base combo just the white rice and 2 naan and sauce is $13 then you add protein $4 to make a meal. this price is not competitive in this area for fast food. as far as the food, everything tasted great, the naan is fresh and soft, love the texture, but wish could have more flavors. read more

Ordered thru their website for pickup and food was ready on time, within 15 min. Food quality was great and the $1 side add-ons of mac and cheese and fries were a good value. Paneer tikka was flavorful and included naan and rice sides. Portions are a bit on the smaller side for an entree but prices are reasonable even with an upcharge for paneer entrees. Condiment bar has a great selection of sauces that you can help yourself to. Overall great experience and tasty food. Would come back. read more

Good fast casual! Nice inside. Food is great. Self service kiosks. Their website is odd tho. Doesn't show all their meal options

naansense was a "nonsense" experience for us !! so crowded , so much chaos, people were literally fighting for tables ( no honor system) . Wish they had some system to have tables assigned based on your order number ? If you are not someone who is aggressive enough to grab a table as soon as it's emptied , then it's not a place for you. As my husband said , even if we now get a table I don't feel I can eat peacefully because are eyeing for us to vacate soon. We finally made our dinner as to go and ate in car ! Food was good no doubt. But there are enough and more good restaurant in Naperville area and not sure if I'd like to go experience the chaos read more

We went on a Friday evening during their soft opening. Great space, loved the easy kiosk ordering. Food was fantastic. We had the chicken Tikka Bowl and the Vindaloo. Obligatory, it's "naan-sense" that every dish does not come with naan. Now that that's out of the way, let's dive into what makes a good pick to satisfy the whole family, but might not hit the mark for the more foodie-minded in your group. First, Naansense is another of Venture Kitchen's portfolio companies, joining the likes of Invicto and Naf Naf, all popular ventures with varying degree of investment. This means that you can expect the same fast-casual, order yourself concept, with minimal staff interaction. The décor is "on theme," but feels like it was mass produced, with the intent of growing this into a national chain, again, par for the course for Venture Kitchen. Onto the food. My party came for lunch and was excited about the possibility of trying a few different things. Here's what we ordered, along with our thoughts: 1. Lamb kebab plate - Lamb was good, albeit a bit salty. It tasted more like a lamb burger than a seekh kebab. While it was missing a few spices, it was still tasty. 2. Paneer plate - Paneer had a similar issue as the lamb, it was salty, not seasoned. Additionally, it wasn't as acidic as paneer typically is, maybe it was halloumi instead. The chana masala that accompanied this plate also suffered from a similar lack of seasoning. The chickpeas were cooked well, though. 3. Chicken tikka bowl - By now, you've probably detected a theme with the protein. The rice in this bowl was fine, the sides, also fine. 4. Fries - these were the star of the show. I should've led with these. The fries were every Midwesterners dream - crispy, but still soft on the inside. Seasoned, but still a blank canvas meant for dipping. And dipping we did! naansense had an array of sauces to choose from, all with varying spice and taste profiles. 5. Mango lassi - overly sweet, they definitely use that mix with xanthan gum in it to thicken it. Now onto the service. The "brand accelerator," Venture Kitchen has removed any front-of-house staff to cut costs. You order at a kiosk (in the back of the restaurant, mind you) and sit and wait for them to call your number. The signage for this kiosk needs to be a bit more apparent. Additionally, this system means parts of your order will be forgotten! While I have no problem that there were two items from our order forgotten, the real issue arose when we realized that the back-of-house workers were actively discouraged from engaging with guests. When we tried to speak with them, they hid! When the manager came up and we highlighted the missing items, he glared at his staff while demanding the missing paneer and lassi. The bottom line? This place will definitely fit everyone's palate - as you can see, it has a broad array of food, and most flavors are accessible without being too spicy. Plus, there's always the fries. read more

The food is flavorful but pricey. The naan lacks any flavor but tastes authentic and it's soft and tastes good enough. The basmati rice is not basmati rice. The korma chicken was very good and filled with flavor. The chicken kabob was equally delicious and flavorful. I can't comment on the ambiance as I never dined inside this restaurant. Food is pretty good. I left my honest opinion. I ordered twice and both times it was good although they forgot my lam shish kebab. I recommend this place folks! read more

It's amazing food was well seasoned,, served fresh, amazing NAAN,,, this is a place that you always wanted to go back,,, service is good,,, place is clean,,, the place is like a food in the bowl, you got everything that your body needs. I ordered shrimp kabobs and it's so delicious with cucumber and tomato salad and my husband ordered bowl of chicken with rice and salad and it's amazing. read more

Really enjoyed the fast casual menu here. It's kind of like Chipotle, but with Indian cuisine. The menu is authentic, but very approachable. You can get a simple bowl or order thali for the whole works. The mango lassi, samosas, paneer, chicken curries, and naan were all very tasty and good sized portions. The decor is nice too, with plenty of tables and booths if you want to dine in. read more

They went out of their way to help us order. I like the selection. Great food. We will go back again.

We'd been waiting for this restaurant to open ever since the sign went up and we finally got to try last weekend! It was a solid hour to order + get food, but this was 7pm on a Saturday night and likely peak busy time. The inside of the restaurant is beautiful. The kiosk ordering situation is great if the people ahead of you are adept at it - otherwise you're kind of stuck. The lamb curry was SO good but a bit too spicy for me (I have zero spice tolerance). The garlic naan were excellent. The gulab jamun were unlike that I've had at other Indian restaurants, but still tasty. My husband got the lamb korma and loved it - that's definitely what I'll get next time. The stars here were the masala fries and the condiments. These fries - holy MOLY they are good. Served hot, fresh, creamy potato-y goodness inside and crispy, well seasoned exterior. I could have eaten just the fries and had an amazing meal. Next, the condiments - the curry mayo? On the aforementioned amazing fries? GET OUTTA HERE. Such a delicious combo. Also their green mint chutney? STOP. I mean just fresh, well balanced, incredibly delicious. I used that on EVERYTHING and it was a lifesaver when the curry got a bit too hot. Overall this place will be a gem when the hype dies down just a smidge, the wait times are more manageable for food, and they get in a rhythm of meeting the demand. Can't wait to return. read more
