I'm giving Bombay Eats 5 stars, but only because Yelp doesn't have an option to give more than that! I only found out about this place recently, and have already been here multiple times. They offer delicious Indian food with a fun modern twist that includes being able to order your meal as a wrap, roll, burrito or a classic bowl, as well as fun sides like messy samosas or fries that are topped with masala, chutney, etc. They offer a few different finishing sauces so you can choose your own level of heat. I always order the spiciest option and I love how perfect and flavorful everything is. The drink options are mostly canned Pepsi products, Indian sodas and Lassi. The atmosphere is fun and modern, and always clean, and the employees are always friendly and helpful. There is also a reward program that accumulates points very quickly. Please consider opening another location near Fox Valley Mall! read more

Same concept as chipotle but for Indian food. I really like Bombay Eats and plan to make this a spot I suggest to others. The restaurant is kept clean and has music playing in the background. It's loud enough to hear and quiet enough to have a conversation with who you're with. Service was interesting - the man who assisted me would ask a question but then cut me off when I answered him. Later on I asked for a to go lid from a different staff member and thankfully she was nice. Food here? YUUUUUP - I enjoyed it thoroughly. I tried the beef kebab bowl and also got a side of roti/flat bread. All the flavors went very well together and they also have non spicy options. Finally got a chance to check out this spot!! The food is great!! Love the different options! My friend and I walked in and it was quiet for lunch! Although, we noticed there were some people in and out or picking up orders. We ordered our food, but felt a bit rushed even though it wasn't busy. The person who helped us was cutting off my friend when she was in the middle of saying something or wanted to ask a question about a menu item. The menu items are simple which is great! I ordered the beef kebab wrap. I loved it! I ordered the lunch combo and got a drink and samosas. The samosas were a bit on the dry side, but it was better with some sauce. My friend liked her bowl, and ended up taking her leftovers home! It was a good amount of food. I'd come back and order again, possibly on their app. I love the wraps, it was perfect. Sweet potato fries and samosa wrap were my favorite. I also really liked the drink options - Rose lassi, pistachio lassi, mango lassi etc. The pricing of the food was fair. Most wraps were at $6 and bowls at $12. Very reasonable compared to the restaurant pricing that is inflating higher than the economy. I got the chicken tikka wrap and it's so delicious! I love that the wraps are not like a traditional pita, they use flaky paratha which is like a flaky tortilla wrap that's soft and crunchy. Comes with a great balance of veggies and protein. 10/10 We also had the sweet potato fries served with a hot chili ketchup. The sweet potatoes are not basic, they're well seasoned, crunchy, and the sauce tastes like sweet and sour sauce. 8/10 I LOVED the mango lassi, it's a MUST HAVE, it has the perfect amount of sweetness and so smooth. I heard that all the meat was halal now, at least at the Naperville location, so I was eager to give Bombay Eats another shot. This time we ate inside. The interior is pretty nice, and the bathrooms also have nice tilework. Even the hallway leading to the bathrooms is really cool. Anyway, we ordered using the self-serve kiosk. We got a chicken reshmi rice bowl, a beef kebab salad bowl, and a mango lassi. The chicken rice bowl wasn't generous in size, but fair. It tasted pretty good. For the beef kebab bowl, they were running low on beef, so they gave two kebabs and some shredded lamb. This was a very tasty dish. I would have liked a little less lettuce, though. The mango lassi was equally delicious. Here's the cool thing -- since the beef was low (which wasn't a big deal since they supplemented it with lamb), they offered us complimentary samosas w/ sauce and a khatta berry lassi. Now that's service! The mini samosas were fresh & crispy, and the berry lassi was awesome since it wasn't too sweet. read more

It's only 6 dollars so I guess I shouldn't have expected something huge. I also order lentil soup. I thought the soup was a tad bland. It could've used more salt and maybe little more spice. The wraps though we're both terrific! My husband went to get food at 8:15-8:20 two days in a row to this place. First day, they told him they ran out of rice. The restaurant closes at 9. Ok fine, he left. The next day, went again around the same time. They ran out of paneer and half the ingredients weren't refilled. Again the restaurant closed at 9. Why ate you even open then if you ran out of the ingredients?? The last time I went to get it a few weeks ago, the girl charged me $4.50 for asking for extra paneer on the side but if it was added on to the same container, the price would be $3 something. We got 2 chicken tikka rice bowls, chips with seasoning salt, sweet potato fries and parathas. First time trying it and everything was delicious!
