**the owner promptly reply to an email. I appreciate his quick attention, rectifying the issue, and I'm satisfied with how they handled the incident. Changing my review based on the owners promptly addressing the problem. I was really looking forward to trying this restaurant as they had multiple vegan options (shown the company's website) for my wife and youngest and meat items for the rest of us. If you're looking for vegan food this is NOT the place for it. I noted in the order comments which two items needed to be vegan and submitted the order for pickup over an hour later. When I got to the restaurant I was told my order hadn't been prepared because the items listed as vegan on the menu couldn't be made vegan. There was no attempt from the restaurant to contact me about any potential issues with the order. I pointed out the menu online and where it said "vegan" and asked if they could just make those two items as bowls. They said they wouldn't do it without charging us the extra amount for the bowl even though the menu had listed the ordered items incorrectly. I was told that while they have vegan ingredients and components for the dishes the actual burritos are not vegan. This escalated to the two employees there yelling at me in front of the whole restaurant that I was cheap and I'm costing them money. I drove 20 minutes to try what seemed like a cool restaurant only to leave with the employees yelling at me and calling me names. Again, all in front of everyone eating in the restaurant. So 40 minute drive for dinner, no actual food, and being insulted by the staff. If the restaurant had contacted me, or even attempted to, about the issue this could've been handled very differently. I could've said, "thanks for the heads up. Let me modify my order." Could've been as easy as that. read more

I'm giving Bombay Eats 5 stars, but only because Yelp doesn't have an option to give more than that! I only found out about this place recently, and have already been here multiple times. They offer delicious Indian food with a fun modern twist that includes being able to order your meal as a wrap, roll, burrito or a classic bowl, as well as fun sides like messy samosas or fries that are topped with masala, chutney, etc. They offer a few different finishing sauces so you can choose your own level of heat. I always order the spiciest option and I love how perfect and flavorful everything is. The drink options are mostly canned Pepsi products, Indian sodas and Lassi. The atmosphere is fun and modern, and always clean, and the employees are always friendly and helpful. There is also a reward program that accumulates points very quickly. Please consider opening another location near Fox Valley Mall! read more

Bombay Eats - Bombay-rito with paneer - Indian Near Me - Naperville, Illinois

Holy yum!!! No wait in line for REALLY flavorful but not too spicy Indian food. Love that they have water available for free and a value combo meal that includes samosas. Aren't those everyone's favorite part of the meal?? Delicious dairy free chutneys and healthy free toppings like beets and carrots & cabbage and lettuce. Beautiful mural and festive flooring. Staff was patient as I inquired about dairy allergies. Place was immaculately clean. If I lived around here I'd be here all the time. If you try it, you just might be too. read more

Same concept as chipotle but for Indian food. I really like Bombay Eats and plan to make this a spot I suggest to others. The restaurant is kept clean and has music playing in the background. It's loud enough to hear and quiet enough to have a conversation with who you're with. Service was interesting - the man who assisted me would ask a question but then cut me off when I answered him. Later on I asked for a to go lid from a different staff member and thankfully she was nice. Food here? YUUUUUP - I enjoyed it thoroughly. I tried the beef kebab bowl and also got a side of roti/flat bread. All the flavors went very well together and they also have non spicy options. I'm already thinking about coming back soon to try other items! read more

Finally got a chance to check out this spot!! The food is great!! Love the different options! My friend and I walked in and it was quiet for lunch! Although, we noticed there were some people in and out or picking up orders. We ordered our food, but felt a bit rushed even though it wasn't busy. The person who helped us was cutting off my friend when she was in the middle of saying something or wanted to ask a question about a menu item. The menu items are simple which is great! I ordered the beef kebab wrap. I loved it! I ordered the lunch combo and got a drink and samosas. The samosas were a bit on the dry side, but it was better with some sauce. My friend liked her bowl, and ended up taking her leftovers home! It was a good amount of food. I'd come back and order again, possibly on their app. I love the wraps, it was perfect. I really loved the paratha flatbread! I could eat a few of those by itself! read more

First time at Bombay Eats with my family! It's a chipotle based concept eats serving wraps and bowls with an option of adding Indian sauces. Customer service was friendly and efficient. The food is a bit pricey for the quantity that is given. The restaurant has a nice clean ambiance with red lighting which suites the style of Bombay. read more

A tasty fast casual spot at Freedom Drive, kind of an Indian Version of Naf Naf Grill. A friend and I went for dinner and both enjoyed the meal. I got the chicken reshmi wrapped in a paratha -- yummy mix of flavors and I liked the flaky paratha texture. We split an order of samosas for an appetizer, which were good: crispy and full of spiced potato filling. Staff was friendly and helpful to two people who had never eaten here before! Overall, a tasty new option for a quick lunch or dinner in Naperville/Warrenville area. read more

Making Indian food interesting! We went in as a group of 7 and pretty much ordered everything on the menu. The food is SO good!!! The sauces are on point! Sweet potato fries and samosa wrap were my favorite. I also really liked the drink options - Rose lassi, pistachio lassi, mango lassi etc. The pricing of the food was fair. Most wraps were at $6 and bowls at $12. Very reasonable compared to the restaurant pricing that is inflating higher than the economy. The folks assembling the food were very friendly and willing to answer any question. The place was clean, and appealing to the eyes. I'd certainly god back! Highly recommend this place. read more

I was craving Indian food and this place popped up in my area. To quickly summarize what this place is, it's an Indian version of Chipotle. You order your bowl or wrap and they make it in front of you asking what toppings and sauces you want. I decided to go with the lamb rice bowl. The lamb was very flavorful and tender. It came with a side of seasoned onions (which I loved), chickpeas, and salad. They had a spicy chutney which actually had a decent kick to it. They have a mild option as well for those that can't handle spicier foods. Overall, I enjoyed my dish. They also offered Indian snacks and my childhood favorite drink, Frooti! This take on Indian food is so good! They always make the food super quick! Great way to order in their app and take it to go. And it's nice in there if you wanted to sit down. read more

Delicious take on Indian food! You order your food and can customize as needed. They'll ask you what other condiments you want and whether you want it spicy or mild. I got the chicken tikka wrap and it's so delicious! I love that the wraps are not like a traditional pita, they use flaky paratha which is like a flaky tortilla wrap that's soft and crunchy. Comes with a great balance of veggies and protein. 10/10 We also had the sweet potato fries served with a hot chili ketchup. The sweet potatoes are not basic, they're well seasoned, crunchy, and the sauce tastes like sweet and sour sauce. 8/10 I LOVED the mango lassi, it's a MUST HAVE, it has the perfect amount of sweetness and so smooth. Super well made! Highly recommend and will be trying their other flavors!! 10/10 Service was great and the restaurant is clean, well lit, and cozy. Modern interior with great seating and has a station for water. Will be coming here to try more of their foods! read more

So picked up for my wife today. First customer of the day. The chicken in her wrap was cold. Watched them make it and takes about 5 minutes to get home. Somehow the inside of the chicken got cold? Picked up a burger from oakbrook and drove 20 minutes and it was still warm yesterday. Inconsistent food quality - not a good sign. The negative reviews starting to make sense. So disappointed. Consistency is important to generate repeat business. read more

Beautiful ambiance and great space from inside. If you have a big group plan in advance. I have tried their food in Chicago and Naperville, and the food is really good. This Chipotle style Indian food, so you can get food fast. I love their samosa wrap, and this time, I added Amul cheese. Quantity is good, so one is good for me. I also like their pistachio and saffron lassi. It's different but tasty. The front desk person in Naperville was super nice and helpful. Very friendly staff. Highly recommend the place. read more

I heard that all the meat was halal now, at least at the Naperville location, so I was eager to give Bombay Eats another shot. This time we ate inside. The interior is pretty nice, and the bathrooms also have nice tilework. Even the hallway leading to the bathrooms is really cool. Anyway, we ordered using the self-serve kiosk. We got a chicken reshmi rice bowl, a beef kebab salad bowl, and a mango lassi. The chicken rice bowl wasn't generous in size, but fair. It tasted pretty good. For the beef kebab bowl, they were running low on beef, so they gave two kebabs and some shredded lamb. This was a very tasty dish. I would have liked a little less lettuce, though. The mango lassi was equally delicious. Here's the cool thing -- since the beef was low (which wasn't a big deal since they supplemented it with lamb), they offered us complimentary samosas w/ sauce and a khatta berry lassi. Now that's service! The mini samosas were fresh & crispy, and the berry lassi was awesome since it wasn't too sweet. read more

Food was good! But the rose lassi was amazing. I'd prefer the paneer bowl over chicken. We wanted to grab a quick bite. 5 stars for the rose lassi and customer service! Fast and polite service! read more

Best place for date night and good cocktails and many more things I will come again w

My wife got a rice and lamb bowl. She liked what she got. I got the chicken masala wrap. It was actually super delicious but not very big. It's only 6 dollars so I guess I shouldn't have expected something huge. If they had a deal where if you order 2 for 11.50 or something like that I would defiantly come back because the taste was amazing. read more

Tried carry out getting a beef kabob wrap and lamb curry wrap. Both tasty but preferred the beef kabob. Choice of two sauces and two condiments like cucumber and tomatoes or pickled onions. Ordered a samosa appetizer, three small pieces that were tasty as well and came with a sauce. Counter service was quick. We took it to go but plenty of seating and nice clean place. Halal meat for those interested. Would come back again. read more

I ordered delivery but will not do that again because the delivery service fee for me was almost more than the cost of the delicious meal. I had the chicken Tikka wrap and a cauliflower wrap. I also order lentil soup. I thought the soup was a tad bland. It could've used more salt and maybe little more spice. The wraps though we're both terrific! I ate them in one sitting and was plenty full without being over full. I do think most people would find a single wrap too small to eat alone. I'll be visiting the restaurant soon though. read more

Everything here is delicious. I highly recommend the lamb curry. It is flavorful and the perfect blend of savory and spicy. The samosas are so good. Vastly overrated with 4+ stars. Lamb was sitting, flavorless. Mango lassi tasted like cream with almost no mango flavor. Overall not great and I spent $15 for a wrap and drink that wasn't exciting. read more

pleasantly surprised that this wasn't as greasy. Bombay wraps rebranded I think? i had the potato cauliflower and paneer wrap. tasty! Cheese Paneer Wrap. Next time I want to try some other items. Love this place but really upset that I just came in 15 minutes before closing and they said they were closed.

First time here and loved it. Easy to order from menu with a few (ok"like a dozen) entree options and several sides. My husband went to get food at 8:15-8:20 two days in a row to this place. First day, they told him they ran out of rice. The restaurant closes at 9. Ok fine, he left. The next day, went again around the same time. They ran out of paneer and half the ingredients weren't refilled. Again the restaurant closed at 9. Why ate you even open then if you ran out of the ingredients?? The last time I went to get it a few weeks ago, the girl charged me $4.50 for asking for extra paneer on the side but if it was added on to the same container, the price would be $3 something. So you are charging me a dollar extra for a small cup??? I might as well bring my own bowls, cups and utensils then. This is ridiculous. read more

It's basically fast food Indian, but still has 100% of the flavor! So good that I went back a second time. Will be back again for sure. And the design on the walls to the bathrooms and inside are so cool! read more

Ordered in store to go. Friendly and attentive staff. Easy to order and food made quickly. Food itself was mediocre for the price $13 per bowl. The paneer was crumbly, lacked sauce and flavor. Small portion for the price. You can get an entree and rice for that price at an Indian restaurant. Samosas were the small premade frozen ones you get from the Indian store. Wouldn't come back but ok to try once. read more
