The bartender seemed put off by his question and it left a bad first impression for me. His shift was also ending in 5 minutes and he asked if I wanted to close out my tab.. At that point we had only ordered 1 drink (my drink) since we were waiting for the social hour deals. I decided to transfer my drink to the next staff member since we just sat down. The restaurant was half empty, with plenty of open seating both inside and outside, and there appeared to be 3-4 servers standing around with very little to do. Despite that, they refused to seat our party of six. I'm sure one of those servers would have appreciated our business and the gratuity that came with it. It all looked good, but I decided to try fried rice with the diced chicken & potatoes, along with a few pieces of chicken lollipop (which is like fried chicken on a stick, or bone). I brought the food to my parent's house for a family dinner. I really enjoyed the food. The fried rice wasn't out of this world, but the chicken lollipop was really good and the chicken & potato dish was pretty good. I love Asian food, so I'm stoked about having a halal option.
