Nope- poor service and finish hair in the food is really a turn off. Wonder why the City lets it operate in such u hygenic conditions.

It's different a fusion of industrial and East Asian chic. Very, very nice! We were immediately greeted and provided with a seat I love Indian food, but I wasn't familiar with some of the dishes so we tried a few different things. Everything was delicious! The chickpea stew, puffy bread, and samosas were my favorite! The sauces were all delicious as well. What a wonderful little gem! I wish I lived nearby. I would be here every week. We had the opportunity to meet the chef. He was so humble and friendly. We told him how much we enjoyed the food, and he seemed genuinely pleased to hear it. Please come out and support this wonderful local business!

They have absolutely no intention to satisfy customers, ambiance is well just tables and chairs with some posters. I have been to many restaurants where food is not that great but the customer service is top notch and for that I give them credit, but at this place they turned out every small request we made for food for our small kid, we didn't ask for anything for free, we asked to customize, which they straight turned down, they have nothing that is kid friendly here. No way I am recommending this place to anyone. If you are the owner, please contact me. I am really interested in knowing what is the logic behind your strict policies :)

Really awesome space at a crowded downtown location. Foods were served on nice metal holders or disposable/environmentally friendly containers and utensils. The tacos were huge, and I love that they focus on the variety of vegetables on the taco, which is often overlooked at other places. Veggies also make the taco look beautiful. I particularly enjoyed the tikka paneer, the paneer was soft for paneer but firmer than tofu, a really great texture. And the flavor wasn't overpowering. The tikka sauce was light, which I am totally fine with. The chicken quesadilla was also made well and of good value, the kids all really liked it. The salmon was good too but didn't really stand out as much, but appreciate the variety veggies on top! The mexi-Cali shrimp bowl was not bad either, but also didn't stand out much. The shrimp was good but I prefer it cooked even lighter if possible. Flavor was good tho. The rice was long grain, which I prefer, but they do give quite a lot, I ended up having quite a lot leftover. I wish the had a bit more cilantro or other herby mix to increase the depth of flavor, but overall still pretty good. Queso was also really good, thick and creamy, not too salty, but sadly the kids didn't like it as much. Husband also liked the gochujang pork a lot, said it was actually really really good. Overall, we really enjoyed everything we had there. Love that they also had paper towels everywhere. My preferred method of keeping clean haha. Will definitely come back.

I need my beef, but I went in with an open mind and I tried one of their sampler platters first off the staff there including the owner is a really down-to-earth guy who really loves what he does. He thoroughly explained all the dishes and even made a recommendation I liked every single thing except for the drink and I know not to order that next time, but everything is delicious that I had. It's very exotic from what I'm used to, but it's delicious and is vegetarian. It's not the cheapest place in town. It's like $20 for the meal which Timmy seems expensive because there's no meat but it is very tasty. I've been three times so far but I'm getting kind of burned out on it so I probably won't be going there very often again I can just get much better value for my money elsewhere, but it is a good place to check out and especially if you like vegetarian Indian food You can't miss here

I think they need to recognize that most people are unfamiliar with this food and do a little more to help the customer. Not knowing what to expect, I walked into the restaurant and up to the counter and spent a not insignificant time staring at the menu. My husband and I took a menu to our seat, but we didn't want to Google every little thing, so we decided to just blindly order the Punjabi Thali ($19.99) and a dessert called the Fada Lapsi ($4.99). We also ordered a Mango Lassi ($4.99) since we're familiar with that. I think that including more descriptions on the menu would be so helpful to guide customers so they can have a better idea of what they're ordering. When our food came out, they did offer an explanation of what everything on our tray was, so this was helpful. If I go back, I'll need to spend more time tracking down a menu from the place and Googling some of the dishes to understand them better. They have been pretty unresponsive on their Facebook page and don't seem to have a website.

As you move farther away from Devon Street, the more Indian restaurants become a luxury. I had been going to a walk-up location of Samosa King on the north end of Tinley Park. I recently passed by a location that is closer to where I live. So, I stopped in one afternoon. I ordered pani puri, choley bhatura, and masala chai. The pani puri with the dip was just the appetizer I needed - for a change. The potatoes were lightly spicy, which was a plus given our cold temperatures. The choley bhatura was a winner. And since I have developed mastery eating Indian food with my hands, that made it that better. I ordered it with a spice level of hot and there was no ring around my mouth from the peppers. My scalp sweated, though, and that meant that they must have cooked the peppers instead of adding them at the end. With the masala chai, the lunch was a winner. Nothing is rushed. Food is cooked to order, so there will be a wait. There is plenty of room inside if you choose indoor dining. It looked like there is a patio for outside seating, which would be an ideal offering during warmer months. Big ups for outstanding service and high marks for even better food with flavor. I will definitely be going back since I don't have to go back into Chicago for North Side Indian food on Devon Street.
