Ordered online on a whim when I was craving Indian food for dinner and saw this was close by! I'm so glad I did- I wasn't disappointed! It's a take-out place so be aware of that, there was ample parking with "restaurant only" pickup parking right in front of their door. I ordered online directly from their primary order website and got the butter chicken, naan, rice, and three potato samosas. This place is SO GOOD, the samosas was crispy and honestly HUGE which I was pleasantly surprised with. The butter chicken was savory with a nice spice to it. I am only giving it 4 stars since it hasn't beat my top top ever favorite Indian restaurant (in Chicago), but I'm so glad I've found this one since it seems to be one of the best in the west suburbs! read more

We've tried various Indian restaurants in the area and Priya's Kitchen is by far the BEST!!! We tried the Chili Chicken, Chicken Makhani, Paneer Makhani, and Priya's Biryani, along with garlic naan and samosas. EVERYTHING was absolutely delicious and the servings were more than ample. We ordered to-go since we had a large party and the restaurant only has two tables, but our orders were ready ahead of the estimated time! Business is turning in a SCAM - Be Aware please I have been coming here since prior to covid. Food is good, prices highish but worth it. Over the years they started to charge for rice, but wasn't that big of a deal. My recent order today, i felt extremely over charged and quantity of the food was cut in half. I ordered 2 chole batura, 1 samosa chat, 1 naan, 1 egg burgiee for over 65 dollars today 3/3/26. Chole came in 2 tiny small containers (paid over 14 bucks each), samosa chat was only 1 somosa (paid 12 bucks). I will not be returning to this place. Fantastic food and amazing service. We spoke at length with the owner where she explained and recommended different dishes. The food was fantastic and the portions generous. We ended up trying the butter chicken and the chicken jalfarazi. Both were great, and so were the naan and rice accompaniments. We asked about dessert and were given plenty of explanations about the different types. We tried the kulfi and the badam halva. Again, nothing but great things to say about everything. read more

Priya's Kitchen is a nice little Indian restaurant in the Westmont area. I would only recommend taking out as the dine in area is very small. The menu is pretty massive and there are a ton of selections of entrees and the meals can be made per your spice level - mild medium or spicy. The malai Kofta was really good - it is packed with a ton of garlicky flavor, the same as the naan bread. Only bad thing I can say is they charge extra for rice FYI it is not included with entrees. Overall I would pick this up again for carry out if I was in the area but that's about it. read more

This is mostly a take-out spot but they do have a few tables near the counter. Once when planning to get take out, I was encouraged to eat in -- which was very enjoyable. I have only tried a few dishes here, their dal and palak paneer are my go-to dishes; also the breads and I am slowly sampling more. Today was my 1st time dining in or eating at this establishment; the menu was quite extensive, so I had a difficult time selecting a meal; however, after conferring with my server, Deepu, who was very helpful and knowledgeable of the menu items, I selected a Samosa as an appetizer and Lamb Curry as a main entrée. Both were delicious and flavorful; if you like Indian spices, try it medium; otherwise, you may want to try it mild. I enjoy the succulent flavor of Indian spices; therefore, I had my curry prepared with medium flavor, and it was quite delicious. The Naan (bread) was tasty as well. I ordered a Goat Biryani dish to go and although I was too full to eat another meal, I sampled this dish upon arrival home and was not disappointed. My recent takeout was quite bad - the sambar and chutney were just bad, the bagara baingan was tasteless and poorly spiced. Flavors for are strong and bold for both protein and vegetarian choices. It seems like they can get fairly busy and stagger behind with orders. The longest we've had to wait was 15 minutes past our selected pickup time so it is reasonable. But we noticed other customers having to wait longer. My husband and I FINALLY made it to the Orland Park Priya's to celebrate our anniversary. Oh, we were NOT disappointed! Service was very good- the server was the owner. Not sure if he is always the person serving, but he is very genuine and you can tell he cares about his business. The food was made to order and absolutely mouth watering. Meal size is enough for 2 meals (which is great, because I get to enjoy it twice, YAY). I can't believe it took me six months to get here, but we will DEFINETLY be back. Wow wow & wow! Stopped in after my Spin Class with EB30X (don't tell Eric ‍) The kid was hungry & asking for McDonalds but I decided this would be a better selection. This food was all cooked to order, was completed rather quickly but when I tell you it was well seasoned & perfectly cooked. A young lady came out of the kitchen & I asked "are you the chef" which she humbly responded "yes" & I had to tell her hats off! This was the perfect home cooked meal! My 9 year old can be picky at times but even he piped up "10 out of 10 thank you miss". I literally have no gripes! Everything was spot on, & fresh. Terrible. Absolutely no flavor and not even redeemable. We've been all over the world and we know good Indian. Chicago area has a huge Indian restaurant scene and we really wanted to like this place. But I cannot understand the positive reviews here and will not give them a third chance. "Not spicy" does not mean don't add flavor. I have never eaten anything so bland. This is wild. "No cilantro" also means no cilantro. Our food is covered in it. The pekora is tiny little fried bits. Like the little pieces that are at the bottom of the fryer. WAY overcooked. There is also hardly any paneer in one of the dishes. See pics attached. For what it's worth, the woman who answers the phone also needs to work on her customer service skills. She accidentally hung up on me which was fine, but she is just not friendly at all. You get the total vibe that you're a burden for calling in. Had a last minute craving for Indian food and decided on this spot. The food was delicious. While I've had better Indian food, this one is excellent for being in the burbs. Absolutely ridiculous, we asked for some water and the guys told us we had to buy but after asking for tap water guy told us he can bring some room temperature water. He brings out a bottle of water and we accept it thinking out of courtesy he is giving it to us being a small business. After we are done eating we get up to leave and he stops and says we have to pay for the water bottle. We told him that if we wanted to pay for the water we would have taken it from the fridge. He then starts arguing saying that we said we would pay. After forcing us to pay for what we perceived as a courtesy, we tell him he has lost 4 customers. Then as we left an empty plate on the table he starts to yell at us to pick up. How are you going to charge 2 dollars for a water bottle and then yells at us to pick up our plate. This was our first time trying both Indian food and Priya's and both did not disappoint. We ordered samosas, paneer pakora, garlic naan, chicken makhani (butter chicken), and lamb rogan josh. Everything had such great flavor. Nothing was overly spicy and none of the dishes had a strong curry taste (we're not big curry fans). The only thing we didn't love was the paneer pakora, it was really bready. Not sure if that's how they're supposed to be but nonetheless they had good flavor. Definitely recommend giving this place a try, I know we will again! Update: ordered for a second time and got the chicken tikka masala, baingan bartha, boneless chicken dum Biryani, and butter dosa. All very good and great flavor, the Biryani was just a little spicy! Our only complaint is we don't know what the sauces are and what they are supposed to be used with, nothing has any labels. read more

This place has the BEST Indian food we've ever had! We've lived in New York City, Chicago, Naperville and this place is by far the best! The menu is vast but everything we've tried is delicious, flavorful and fresh! Well my wife is a tough critic of Indian food. She had a place she loves in Seattle and hasn't found any place around here that came close... until today! Ordered the Garlic Naan, Butter Chicken, Samosas, Chicken Biryani and Dal. Nom nom and nom. The butter chicken was spot on in flavor. I'm not a big fan of samosas but this place fried them perfectly and had so much delicious stuffing in them. I ate almost the entire entree of chicken biryani. It was so flavorful. I find that most places add too many spices to get their biryani to be flavorful. It is simply flavorful without all the crazy spices here! The dal was great (if you like dal). And the garlic naan steals the show... large and fluffy and garlicky! You would think that should be too hard to find... well we have ordered Indian food in the Chicagoland area over the past 15 years and finally have found a place that makes great garlic naan the way the Mrs likes it... the way it should be. Priya's Kitchen - Chicken Jalfrezi Chicken 65 Garlic Naan with 3 Piece Samosa (green chutney is amazing ) - Indian Near Me - Westmont, Illinois

The food here is fine, but not worth a special trip. I got takeout (ready 40 minutes after I called it in around 4:30 on a Friday). I ordered samosa (fine, unremarkable); vegetable pakora (see more below); samosa chaat (a bit disappointing; mostly chickpeas); jeera aloo, which was curiously flavorless; navratan korma, which I really rather liked; sev puri (OK; some of the filling a bit stingy); butter naan and chili cheese naan. Entrees come with rice (perfectly respectable basmati rice; no saffron) but not naan. The chili cheese naan has green flecks in it but is otherwise indistinguishable from the regular naan. The navratan korma had a nice richness from the cream; texture variation from the cashews; and the occasional sweet raisin. If the rest of the food had been of the same caliber I'd have been much happier. The person who wrote that the pakora are like what comes out of the bottom of the fryer is right - it's supposed to be a mixture of spinach, onion and potato but was mostly small crispy bits of spinach and the occasional piece of onion. On the bright side, the portion was generous and the coating is thick enough that it doesn't get soggy. It is nice to see a place where you can get both north and south Indian (sambar, dosa) but the food just isn't that impressive. read more

I'm sure the food is great. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to taste any of it and wasted a bunch of time trying to get it. My experience: I ordered food on seamless at 8:17 pm on a Saturday night when the food was estimated to be ready for pickup in 25-30 minutes. Right after I submitted the order, the pickup time changed from 8:40-8:50 to 9:10-9:20. I left at 9:00 to pickup the order, since the place is 15 minutes away. I received a text at 9:02 saying the food was ready for pickup. I get to the restaurant at 9:15 and saw that the lights are off, door is locked, and no people are in sight. I knocked and there's no answer. I tried calling the phone number twice and left a voicemail on the second try. I waited around for another 20 minutes. At this point, it was too late to order from most other places. I left, hungry for not only Indian food but also an explanation for what in the world happened! I was super excited to try this food for the first time, but really can't find anything positive about my experience. read more
