I'm sure the food is great. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to taste any of it and wasted a bunch of time trying to get it. My experience: I ordered food on seamless at 8:17 pm on a Saturday night when the food was estimated to be ready for pickup in 25-30 minutes. Right after I submitted the order, the pickup time changed from 8:40-8:50 to 9:10-9:20. I left at 9:00 to pickup the order, since the place is 15 minutes away. I received a text at 9:02 saying the food was ready for pickup. I get to the restaurant at 9:15 and saw that the lights are off, door is locked, and no people are in sight. I knocked and there's no answer. I tried calling the phone number twice and left a voicemail on the second try. I waited around for another 20 minutes. At this point, it was too late to order from most other places. I left, hungry for not only Indian food but also an explanation for what in the world happened! I was super excited to try this food for the first time, but really can't find anything positive about my experience. read more

Came here because my indian friends highly recommended it. They did not disappoint! Butter Chicken, Tandoori Chicken, and Special Chicken Biryani were easily 9/10 or better. The staff were also very kind and gave us extra Naan bread. read more

I ordered: Chicken noodles (first time I've tried this) -very delicious and a generous portion Butter chicken- I've had it twice before and it is very good Chicken tikka naan- my first time trying and man it is so fuckin good I almost cried lol Mango lassi-DELICIOUS I love this drink, it is always a must Total for all of this was $37 I have yet to try a dish from here that I don't like and I don't plan on going anywhere else to satisfy my Indian cravings. read more

My son wanted Indian food for his birthday. The reviews looked good- and this place did not disappoint! All the food was fresh, filling, and flavorful. I was so impressed with the details given as each dish was explained. The care that went into the food was apparent. And the people were so friendly. We got take-out, and I enjoyed the majority of the things that I tried. The dosas were perfectly cooked and the sauces were spot on (I caught my kids dipping their fingers in them and eating them plain), the naan and kulcha were both chewy/crispy without being burnt. The Rogan Josh was the highlight of the meal, with amazing flavor and full of meat. The Dal Makhani was also great with a wonderful spice mix. I was surprised to see beans and dal together, but it was a good texture difference so I enjoyed it. The issues we had were with the Vegetable Korma and Mutter Paneer. I get these because they're typically non-spicy enough for the kids to enjoy. Both were just too sweet. Especially the Mutter Paneer which tasted more like a dessert than an entree with quite heavy cardamom use. I would definitely go again, but avoid these dishes. read more

I finally got to try this hidden gem. The food was fresh and came out piping hot. I got the potato masala dosa which was delicious! I put it in the air fryer for a min and it crisped up nicely. Very pleased with the freshness and quality of all of the foods! The Gobi was fragrant and delicious and left me wanting more! Samosas were crispy and refined tasting. We also tried Chicken Vindaloo which was very tender and flavorful! I will look forward to sampling their menu again sometime soon! *note to Priya's: The Vindaloo arrived so incredibly hot and it was in a soft deli-type container. Ordered takeout from here and was beyond impressed. This is the only Indian restaurant I will be going to from now on! This little place is in a tiny strip mall that's easy to miss. They're takeout and delivery only. We tried a few dishes, and wow! Tandoori chicken that could only be better if it went to our table directly from the tandoor. Our saag paneer was some of the best I've had, and with more of a punch than any I've had. The garlic naans were big, fluffy, flavorful and chewy; one is big enough for two people. Rice was tender long-grain basmati. If you're squeamish about highly spicy food, better call and get suggestions before you order. I'm seriously glad this place is here, so close to me. The only improvement I'd like is a text message when the food's ready, so I can get that Tandoori chicken at its best. Oh yeah, prices are entirely reasonable. Based on yelp reviews we decided to try Priya's Kitchen. Best decision we've made!!! I got the butter chicken and my husband got the lamb vindaloo -- amazing!! So glad we found you guys!! Our new go to! The only poor experience was our Grubhub driver dropped off our food on our porch and never rang the doorbell or texted. The yelp app just kept saying "your delivery is running a bit late" and never updated. Thank goodness my husband decided to just check the front door! My sister loved the curry. I loved the bhurji paneer. Everyone loved the fresh breads too. Even the sides - yogurt sauce and a mango lassi had us singing praises. What a fantastic find!! The food here is so very flavorful and fresh. I am Indian American and have had Indian food from my mothers kitchen to restaurants to India (where they just call it food). This has to be some of the best flavors outside of Andhra!! The samosas are so flavorful not bland like many other restaurants. They taste freshly made to order and not frozen. The Dosa was finger licking good especially with the included coconut chutney. We also had the naan and butter paneer/paneer makhni. The paneer makhni was out of this world. Did not want to waste a drop. Overall, this is probably the best food not cooked by my Amma/chinamma's and mother-in-law's kitchens. I don't think I have had better flavors outside of our home. New Indian take out restaurant in Westmont. Hidden among other business located in a small strip mall. The sign on the door could get easily overlooked, but the food is worth the search. Finally a place that serves Chicken Vindaloo with the right amount of heat. It's mostly take out but there are a few counter seats. Portions sizes are moderate and you should not expect to have many leftovers but the freshness and taste of the food makes up more than enough for it. Very nice service! I called and ordered 2 dosas last night during the bad weather, but when pulling out of the garage to pick it up I got the severe thunderstorm take shelter emergency alert on my phone. I didn't feel comfortable going out to pick up the order so I called and asked if I could pay over the phone and pick it up the next day instead. I was told that was ok. I was texted a receipt for purchase and asked to call ahead when picking up and that they'd make new ones. I know dosa is better fresh and hot but I was pleasantly surprised by that. I've driven by Priya's several times since moving here in June.I'm so glad I finally decided to give it a try. I ordered the tandoori chicken, tikka chicken masala, and garlic naan. The high point was eating the tandoori chicken. By far the best I've ever eaten was at an off-road café in Chandigarh. I've been searching for a decent comparable replacement in the US for several years. Every time I have ordered it, up until now, I have been disappointed. it has always been dry and flavorless. Just like your Amma makes. So in the covidpocalypse, finding good delivery that isn't pizza or American can be a a bit of a challenge for me. Bottom line is this place is awesome. Their South Indian food is on point (the utthapam and Mysore masala dosa were delicious) and the Indian Chinese food was excellent, and not too greasy, which is my big problem with most Indian restaurants. The food is spicy tho so come correct. (Even the yogurt rice had some hot peppers, to be fair). Can't speak for the rest of the stuff on the menu, but I'll definitely be ordering again.
