This is a new indian restaurant in the Westmont/Willowbrook area. This is the owner from Priya's Grocers. His wife and a chef from India lead it. The owner is extremely nice. Huge fan of the place - so far had their masala dosa, chicken 65, samosas, chicken pakora and biryani. They also have fresh sweets and during weekend they have fresh kaman - so damn good!! If you're a local in Westmont/Willowbrook/Downers Grove area - then there's honestly no point wasting time to go to Devon (or similar places like Honest Cafe) when you crave for masala dosas or kaman during the weekend (unless you're going to Devon for other reasons). But on the real- just living only a few minutes away - this is a blessing to have access to this type of food that's actually GOOD and near. Even if you live further away - still worth the drive to come and check it out. Just make sure you call in advance since they have limited seating. It's a small place. One food item they can improve on is their bhel. It's a little on the sour side - but that's my only complaint. Everything else so far that I've mentioned is up to par. read more

Staff was very accommodating when I showed up earlier than my Grubhub estimate (I don't live near this restaurant and my timing was off). Visited the restaurant yesterday with much expectations . The quality , ambience and service exceeded our expectations. We possibly had the best Briyani compared to other restaurants. The taste of all the dishes were just outstanding. There are two main things that this restaurant stands out from others . First, the food they serve is freshly prepared and not stale food like some of the Buffet restaurants. Second , the portions . In one order of Briyani , two people can comfortably eat . We were stunned by how good this Indian was. We had chicken tikka and keema pakora as a starter. For main we had cheese Nan, chicken curry and chicken tikka masala. This place is so good that I'm almost reluctant to write a 5 star review because I really just want it to stay a secret gem. Great portions, the dosa was amazing and I can't say enough good things about the aloo gobi. It's my favorite and not every place has it on the menu, so I'm so glad I have a place to get it again. I will start by saying I have ordered food from Priya's for years. I've been a steady customer since they first opened mostly through DoorDash. I just placed a large order in DoorDash and received my food with no rice. When I called up, Priya (the owner) told me on the phone that their orders no longer come with rice and I have to order that separately. I was understandably upset because I didn't notice this and told her that I was upset and now I have to go get rice from them and drive there: she said "I know sorry" and hung up on me. I went to the store and told her I'm the one she just hung up on and that perhaps she should apologize to customers and after some back and forth she said she doesn't need to apologize because this is not her problem. I stopped arguing with her and asked for two large sides of rice which she charged $12.88 for. Didn't apologize at all and would not give me any sort of a break on her outrageously priced rice for the inconvenience. I have had many restaurants call me through DoorDash when there was an issue with my order. She received an order from DoorDash for 4 entrees with no rice (this is Indian food we are talking about) after recently changing her policy of not including rice with entrees and she didn't have the courtesy of calling me to make sure I meant to order no rice!!!! And then she has the gall to be rude to me!!! Outrageous! Never going back there again. read more

Stopped by here last night with the family and everyone enjoyed it. This place has very limited seating and has mostly carry out customers but we dined in. We ordered dosas, samosas, chicken makhani and naan and everything was made fresh and was delicious. The owner made us feel very welcome and took care of everything we needed. My husband and I like Indian food and had heard good things about Priya's so we decided to try it. We were not disappointed! The menu has some unique items on it, not typically seen at other Indian restaurants. We decided to try some items that we have never had. We ordered 5 different items to include appetizers and two entrees. (Chicken Jalfrezi, Lamb Rogan Josh, Mirchi Bhaji, Kachori Chaat and Mysore Dosa) Everything was delicious! Unbelievably good. Visiting from out of town and decided to order delivery due to the pandemic. Food was delicious and some of the most authentic Indian food I've had from a restaurant. Both the chicken tikka and the lamb rogan josh were full of meat and delicious without the extra added cream that is all too common with most Indian restaurants. 12/10 would recommend!! My sister and I stopped in to order after the gym. The service was second to none and the food was ready in a timely manner. The food was delicious and the individual at the front was super helpful in making suggestions. We usually have our "go to" dishes but we were excited to try something new and he was happy to help.
