Something attractive about this place was the creativity of the owner in designing the restaurant with a modern twist. It was a very pleasant environment where you could hear indian music in the background. Menu was designed the way to give you a good idea what you are going to order. The owner seemed to really care about the customers and would help you with questions about the menu patiently. We ate butter chicken with rice + garlic naan and I loved the flavors. Came here for the lunch buffet last week. Pretty good deal, $14 pp. I was there for about an hour and unfortunately many of the main items in the buffet took a really long time to be replaced (So I did not get to try everything). Many of the meat items and popular sides were gone but we were reassured they'd be replaced soon. I waited for about 30 minutes and those items still had not been replaced, so I decided to leave. The food I did get to taste was absolutely delicious! Naan, fried rice, basmati rice, pepper chicken, curry chickpeas, and fried potatoes were tasty. The host was polite and the restaurant was clean. Popped in to grab some to go before heading to hotel. Place looks pretty nice and the waiter was very polite. Ordered the Bhindi Masala, extra spicy. Came with either rice or plain naan and I went with the naan. The masala had zero spiciness to it which was disappointing. It was also very oily but if you could get around the oil the taste wasn't bad. The naan was fresh and tasty. The little tub of masala was $14, seemed expensive for what was received. My wife and I hadn't been in well over a year and this visit really made us question why we waited so long. Naan Appetit has yet to disappoint. This latest visit was the busiest we have seen them. All tables were in use. Phone ringing off the hook. Customers coming in nonstop to pick up their To Go orders. It was a longer wait than usual and the staff was apologetic, but there was no question they were doing their best and I knew it was worth the wait anyways. Started off with the garlic naan and Tandoori wings. Best wings I've ever had by the way. That flavor is unmatched. Kid got the cheese pizza, which is naan with cheese so of course I had to steal a bite. When my butter chicken came out, I could have had an endless line of garlic naan to dip in the sauce and I would have been beyond satisfied. This is hands down the most delicious Indian food I've ever eaten. Yesterday was the best meal of my entire life. I got the buffet. The sauce for the butter chicken was out of this world. Not thinned down at all (like other restaurants I've been to). They use fresh and dried whole herbs, not pre-made pastes. Whole cardamom pods, curry leaves, cinnamon sticks, etc are all throughout the dishes. The chili peppers are left in large tender chunks so you can push them aside if you can't handle heat, or enjoy them with your food if you can. The bean masala, vegetable stew, homestyle chicken were also all divine. 2 days earlier we ordered dinner take-away as a family and had saag, tikka masala, banyan Barta, and salmon curry. Everything was outstanding. I live 4 hours away and am already planning another trip to Savannah for my birthday. ...not to see Savannah as much as to just have an excuse to eat at this restaurant. I love Indian food and since moving to Pooler I've been craving it. A friend recommended this place to me, and I was pretty disappointed. Paneer tiki masala with garlic naan and a side of rice is my go to order, and when I went the first time I was shocked with the lack of flavor in the dish. I've had authentic Indian before and this just tasted like a watered down version. The rice was perfect, but the naan was very underwhelming for the price. I decided to try again as I really wanted to like this place and so I ordered it spicy, hoping that would give me more flavor. Just a little more heat, not even that spicy, and not that much flavor. Sadly the paneer also did not taste that fresh when I went the second time, and I was very disappointed. Went here last night for dinner. We've been to the location in downtown Savannah but it's always too hot and humid inside. Turn on the ac. The Pooler location was indeed cooler inside and the food did taste better at this location. Unfortunately the service was the worst I've had in a long time. We walked in and the host pointed to the stack of menus and told us to grab them and find a seat. We waited over 5 minutes for our server to come to table. We knew what we wanted and placed our order immediately. Beers took a full 10 minutes to come to table. Appetizer came out fast but dinner.... everyone around us came in after us and was server dinner. We sat and waited and waited. No manager on staff. The host and one server were all hands on deck. Driving from Savannah to Pooler for this dreadful experience. Lack of management. Lack of attention. Lack of timely service. Bad night. Do better. read more

Finally an Indian restaurant in Pooler. This place is great, considering it's the only Indian restaurant in the area. The price may seem a little high but it's definitely worth a try or two. Lunch buffet from Monday to Friday during lunch hours, totally worth the money. My favorite is the Mutton Biryani. It's delicious and can be easily shared between two people. Its better than the Chicken biryani. Make sure they give you the "Raita" with the Biryani, because the last time they forgot to give me. On weekends, they serve the South Indian speciality called "Dosa". It comes with "Sambar" and two different types of Chutneys. It's a good portion size too. One of the best Places for Indian food in the coming country! I came from a very large city where we had a lot of options, including Indian restaurants. However, they can't even come close to this place. When you walk in, the atmosphere is awesome. Casual but upscale design greets you along with a warm welcome from the hostesses. We were promptly seated and were waited on quickly. When the food came, it just continued the quality. The food was very tasty and came very well presented. It was also very filling. We didn't really have room for dessert but we ended up doing it anyways and we were glad we did. They have a very unique spin on some traditional dishes and it was amazing. Our appetizer was amazing, would definitely recommend it (Chilli Paneer). After eating our appetizer my husband stated "we are in for a treat" ... he was wrong. The food was ok, but definitely did not compare to our favorite Indian Restaurant in Charlotte. I ordered the Chicken Korma (which is what I always get) and it was kind of bland, the sauce was really thin compared to what I'm used to, it wasn't terrible, it just wasn't great. My husband got the Chicken Vindaloo, he said it was ok but his sauce was also very thin. He stated if the sauce was thicker it would have been a lot better.
