Another place hubby's friend had been dying to try. I can say for certain if you ask for spicy they will definitely not hold back! I'm craving Indian food just from writing this review. Most of the dishes come with either rice or naan. I highly recommend getting both but it's up to you and is extra to get both. One thing I noticed they don't do here is they don't have the free rice cracker and sauces appetizer I've seen at most other Indian places (the equivalent of salsa at Mexican places). I really cannot remember the name of it so It may have been on the menu and I didn't know. So I ordered Butter Chicken, Hubby got Tikka Masala Chicken, and his bestie got the Saag Paneer. I ordered mine max spicy and will admit it ruined the flavor, so I wouldn't do that again. It tasted really good when mixed with the saag but next time I will hold back a little bit because Butter Chicken has a delicious flavor and only needs a little kick to it. This place is our CHEERS ... we return often and they never disappoint. First. Garlic Naan. That is a Must. 555 Shrimp appetizers... share or don't share. It's perfection. So delighted they brought dosas back on the menu! We came from Hilton head to have one of our favorite dishes; masala dosa. Delish! All the accompaniments coconut chutney and sambal were soo good. I wish I could give this place 1000 stars. Firstly, the employees were amazing and quite honestly so were the other customers. My boyfriend and I went here so we could experience authentic cuisine and it did not disappoint. I also wanna point out how they serve the food, because if you are like us it makes it easily shareable and more enjoyable. They serve you in big bowls separate and then give you plates so you can serve how you'd like. I personally have never been to a restaurant that does this and it was amazing. We have loved Naan Appetit for years, and yesterday we were finally able to go to their new location! The atmosphere and decor are a major "GLOW UP"! Seeing the staff welcome us in is always such a joy. They remember who you are, and take the time to ask how you are too. They remembered our daughter from when she was a baby too. I used to frequent this restaurant for their delicious lunch buffet, but it just hasn't been the same since they moved locations. It seems they can't keep up staffing to meet the demand of a busier location. The last few times I've been the buffet stays empty. Today several tables were just sitting and waiting for refills from the kitchen. It's one thing to be out of one or two things but not 80% of what's offered. The buffet also rarely changes like it did at the old location. Bring back the crispy chips! The drinks on our table stayed empty as well. I also tried their restrooms at the new location and was surprised to find one of the doors completely off the hinges so you couldn't close it. So several of us were all crammed in that tiny hall trying to get into the other rooms with working doors. This place is too new to have so many issues. Bring back Allwyn! This place is the real deal. Each time I order the buffet because it is so delicious, and not thrown together as most buffets tend to sacrifice quality for quantity. It is well maintained with a grocery store connected to the dining room. There is a variety of curries, dosas, rice, and vegetarian options. I really enjoy the service at this place! Our server remembered my boyfriend and I from our first visit nearly 3 months prior. He even remembered our appetizer order! The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because I really enjoy the saffron in the basmati rice, and they just have regular rice here, or rice with cardamoms. I was pleasantly surprised! Excellent lunch buffet with all the standard dishes and a few things that are new to me. We take frequent week trips in the southeast and this is the best Indian buffet we have had. The restaurant is in a store front, but is clean and quaint. As a long time fan of Indian food, was so excited to hear about Naan Appetit. Unfortunately, the food did not meet expectations. Perhaps the most basic of US Indian foods, chicken tikka masala, had a sauce that was mild in terms of spice but so harsh we tried it then threw it out. All other dishes, including a shrimp dish from the Chinese side of the house, were poor. While we would normally give a new restaurant a second chance, there are other solid options nearby and no need to be back. read more

Also when your sign says to wait to be seated then the least you can do is walk your customers to the table where you are seating them. Visit Date: March 11, 2016 The day before our last day Savannah hubby and I went to this restaurant to meet his friend and his family since they live in Georgia. I was excited for Indian Food and this place was okay but it's no match for the Indian food found on Long Island in Hicksville NY. We ordered the meat appetizer and the vegetarian appetizer. The somosoas weren't as tasty as the ones I've had in NY. The tofu was interesting, it was doused in a nice sweet sauce. For dinner I had the vegetable korma with rice and naan bread. The naan bread was good but a little different than the Naan I'm used to seeing back home. The vegetable korma was good, very delicious and salty. For dessert I had fried dough balls they were good, very sweet but also very hot. Overall I am guessing this place is good Indian for Georgia but if you're living in NY the Indian Food is better fare. read more

So in our current Covid-19 plagued earth this place was a nice oasis of Indian food. I walked in and waited at the front for probably 2 minutes before anyone walked out of kitchen. I would have been worried but my food was sitting on the counter. I paid without contact beyond passing my credit card and was then on my way home with fresh Indian food. I ordered the paneer butter masala and butter chicken as entrees. To chase it down we ordered buttered naan, armitsari kulcha, and another naan that was stuffed with lamb. The butter chicken was absurdly good. It was a bit sweeter than normal but in a very good way. This may have been best butter chicken I've ever had (although might be because I've been sheltered in place and haven't eaten out in awhile). The paneer butter masala was a little too sweet for me, but my wife loved it. The butter naan was okay. The naan that was stuffed with lamb wasn't better than regular naan. The armitsari kulcha was delicious. The reason I didn't give more stars was because my order was taken down wrong and I wasn't given a rice and a naan. Maybe that's my fault for not checking but was frustrating once I realized it when I got home. The food was 4 stars. I will order out again. I'd like to try the buffet some time. read more

We were immediately seated and our drink orders taken. We started with the vegetable samsosa. Two were brought to us and it was tasty with a pairing of two different sauces. My entree was the butter chicken with garlic naan. The chicken was tender with a slight sweet taste that complimented the spices. My husband had the goat fry which he said was spicy but good nevertheless. You can have the chef adjust the dish to suit your spice level. Came here for the lunch buffet last week. Pretty good deal, $14 pp. I was there for about an hour and unfortunately many of the main items in the buffet took a really long time to be replaced (So I did not get to try everything). Many of the meat items and popular sides were gone but we were reassured they'd be replaced soon. I waited for about 30 minutes and those items still had not been replaced, so I decided to leave. The food I did get to taste was absolutely delicious! Naan, fried rice, basmati rice, pepper chicken, curry chickpeas, and fried potatoes were tasty. The host was polite and the restaurant was clean. I only wish they were more efficient in replacing buffet items in a timely manner. I'll be back to try again. read more
