Not sure where all the 5 star ratings are coming from, we tried the buffet and it was nothing special. Yes the price is cheap for a buffet but the place looks very nice from the outside and deserves a much better setup. Just charge extra and do it right. They put the food in chafers!! This is not supposed to be a catering session . Most of the food gets mushy... besides, we have to open each one to put food in our plates! The restaurant name is Naan, so at the very least, the bread is supposed to be really good, but it did not taste fresh at all. I suggest you change the name to Naana :) Service was good. read more

1 star for the ambiance! Very cute. Came as a party of 3, two adults and 1 child. We all ordered, and after about 5 minutes they brought the kid's meal.....nothing else. Weird. I also find it weird how every single African American table was sat in the back section, near the window, despite there being ample space up front. But I'll digress on that aspect, maybe it was just a coincidence. An HOUR passed and the waitress had not even come back to check on us AT ALL!! Empty cups, and empty stomachs. After finally being fed up, we went to the bar area and just paid for the kids meal and sprite. No explanation, apology, or anything was given. Amazing ambiance and layout with multiple areas to dine. Menu is expansive yet not overwhelming. Service was great. As I do with most new Indian restaurants, had to try the Chicken Tikka Masala to just the baseline. Best local dining experience Pooler has to offer. The environment is warm and welcoming with top notch service and delicious food. We frequently visited their old location and this one offers the same experience that we love. Lunch buffets during lunch hours that's a great option to try different dishes if you aren't familiar with Indian food. We haven't had anything on the menu that we didn't enjoy yet. Some dishes were definitely spicier than others but their server (nicest guy you'll ever meet-don't know his name) is eager to explain and make sure you'll end up with a dish you'll love. read more

Perhaps we are harsh critics because we cook Indian-Pakistani food at home. Maybe we made ill-advised menu choices. But we were very disappointed. The kebab was distasteful and we sent it back. The owner/manager refunded our money. But we also did not enjoy either the biryani or the chicken curry. We won't be back. read more

This is the best Indian food I have tried in a long time. I pass this place frequently but never stopped until yesterday and I so happy I did. The food was amazing. I ordered the Butter Chicken ( Shrimp) and the Lamb Rogan Josh. Oh my goodness was it good. The shrimp were plentiful and most importantly not over cooked. The lamb was tender and delicious. Great service and good food! We got the gobi manchurian, two dosas, and mirchi ka salan, and all dishes were really spicy (although we did ask for spicy, so that may be on us a bit) but tasty. The gobi manchurian was crispy and saucy, and was probably my favorite thing we ordered - the dosa was also crispy and served with yummy sambar and chutneys. Pretty suprised that i found a great indian place in savannah! Their menu was limited but has all the right choices to satisfy your indian craving. We have tried their entrees that includes curry + side of rice or naan. You could upgrade your naan to garlic or butter by paying 0.50cents. I have tried their chicken tikka masala and chicken jalfrezi. Both were delicious. The food arrived quickly, fresh and well made. Plenty of parking and prices are not bad ($$). I eat here every time I'm in the area. It is always so delicious. Can't go wrong with any of their dishes. Naan is the best I've had too.

I had high hopes since I had such a wonderful experience at Wild Ginger and they share the same owner and kitchen. The ambience is nice (good for couples and families) and it's pretty much self seating. I went with friends in November 2022 for lunch on a Sunday. It was moderately slow when we arrived but quickly picked up. It's buffet only during lunch hours. I tried just about everything on the buffet. Everything was tasty and they kept the food hot and switched out when low, regularly. A few dishes were a bit room temp when we first got there though which we found odd since they'd just opened...however, they had a great variety of traditional Indian dishes and desserts. The buffet is about $18 per person and well worth it. Unfortunately, the servers need some help. There were only 2 staff members working on the floor, one behind the bar, so we had to wait a while for drinks etc. I'm looking forward to return for an evening dining experience. read more

Wasted literally a half hour through heavy traffic getting off 95 to come get masala dosa, which is listed on their website and was also on the menu that the waitress gave me after I was seated. After I ordered, she said that they don't carry them at all, but hadn't bothered to update their website or menu. Everything was tasty and I enjoyed the variety. My only complaint was the fried foods were not hot... They were lukewarm. The other hot foods made up for it! We loved this local spot for some excellent Indian food. The Tikka Masala was exceptional as were the Tandoori options the naan was fluffy and crispy on just the right way and the staff was very friendly and made many delicious suggestions. Server wasn't asked us spicy levels so that's No usual for curry house. I was hoping food is good But... On our way home from Florida to NY we decided to look up a dinner spot. Glad Yelp led us to this great spot. I had the paneer tiki masala and my husband had the garlic chicken curry. We also had an onion fritter app which came with a mint and a tamarind sauce. The app was alright. The two entrees were exquisite, very flavorful and a good amount of food was served. We did order a lot but, it shouldn't have taken over 1/2 hour for our food, even though they only had 4 "To-Go" orders. Another downside was that they were out of all flavors of Lassi...disappointing. The food was great, if you like Spicy or Very Spicy. What a nice little surprise Naan Appetite was! We were driving from FL to GA and craving Indian food badly! A quick search along our route showed NA was not far from the highway so we gave it a try. Indian cuisine is one of my favorites and something I order often when I'm on business travel. I got the paneer with peas, medium spicy. It was perfect. The cheese was hot but not rubbery, the sauce was flavorful and had loads of spices and aromatics, slightly chunky. I love that I could get naan in place of rice as I'm not a rice fan. I also got the papadum, this is how I judge if it's legit Indian. This is perhaps the best I've ever had. Light, crisp, slightly salty, studded with whole cumin seeds. Slight char with all that lovely flavor on the edges. No need for chutney. I may have dinner here again tomorrow. read more
