. Service is the best no question. The honor is so friendly and runs a top notch place with food that is amazing. The restaurant has nice warm, relaxed and clean environment. Eat the other day with my wife. The wrap was amazing. Nice thick wedge. With a base of perfectly cooked and crisped meat, lauers of vegies tjen more meat. And perfectly cooked fries. Made my anf my wifes day!!

This is what a diner is supposed to look like.

Disappointed!!!! The food tastes great, but the portion sizes have went down. I paid $12 without tax for half of a döner! I'm still hungry!!!

Still a fave, reliable quality, service and all around fantastic experience. You have to know German street food to fully appreciate just how wonderful this place is!

If you've been to Germany or are familiar with Turkish cuisine then you know just how good a Döner Kebab is. In Germany you can find them on every corner, Döner stands are like Starbucks in Seattle, they're everywhere! And with Döners being one of the most popular and cheap fast foods available there, it's almost impossible to not have had a Döner if you've ever been to Germany and if you have not you're missing out! From the meat to the veggies, feta cheese and yogurt sauce this street food is a must try. And who would have thought a little place in Georgia can serve up a traditional Döner Kebab. But let me tell you I was impressed after doing lunch yesterday with my husband. It's a tiny place with just a few tables inside but Sons Döner Kebab serves a pretty authentic Döner that is so hard to get my hands on in the states. I went with their number 1. with fries, lamb meat, all the veggies, yogurt sauce and added feta cheese and a pita bread. My husband ordered their number 8. With lamb meat, all the veggies and yogurt sauce. We also added their strawberry and avocado boba teas. However the teas were a miss, the strawberry one tasted like nestle strawberry milk powder was used and my avocado one had no hint of avocado but tasted like green tea which was just ok. However the food overall was amazing and prices were fair especially being we could not finish either. The only 2 complaints I'd have with the food are that the yogurt sauce was more on the basic side it missed that oomph I'm accustomed to with Turkish flavor and the fries were not seasoned. But neither of my two complaints would prevent me from going back because the Döner meat was spot on and overall my food was still amazing. Staff here were extremely friendly and get the food out to you fast. Even though this is a little establishment it is very clean and as soon as customers get up staff are there to clean the tables. The bathroom too was spotless which you can always appreciate. If you've had the real deal Döner or not I'd still recommend this place, it's so unique and everywhere should offer these delicious treats.

This little spot brings back so many memories to the time I was stationed in Germany. This Döner Kabab plate is hearty and filling. I always get the mixed lamb and beef with all the vegetables. The tender meat is always very tasty and the vegetables alway fresh tasting as well. The price is great and you can usually get in and out quickly with a to go order or eat in at their clean and bright dining space.

I CANNOT stress how much this place never misses. My boyfriend and I come here maybe even a little too often. The staff is friendly, the food is great, and the prices are more than reasonable. The menu is straight forward and all of the options are rather similar, so if German Döner Kebabs aren't your thing, you may not be pleased...but you should still go anyways and try again because how can you not like these things ?? Anyways, 10/5 stars - Please enjoy this photo of a happy BF and his food:

Very nice people. Food is good, if you like lamb! It's a game flavor, but not half bad mixed in. I would definitely eat there again.

Having taken a walking tour of Hinesville's downtown area while waiting for the farmers market to…read moreopen, my daughter an I had worked up an appetite, of sorts; so, the sight of this authentic German restaurant was indeed welcomed. Having grown up in the eighties, while the cold war still raged, and Germany was two countries, I couldn't help but to equate the German flags, displayed above each window, with West German flags, which, in an odd way, did evoke a sense of nostalgia in me. The music playing in the background, all in German, seemed to sway between pop and more traditional sounding German tunes. Sorry, no 99 Luft balloons, though. The bar stretched, in my estimate, throughout two thirds of the dining area, and the tables and chairs had a heavy, dark appearance, evoking the feel of a traditional German beer hall. We were pleasantly greeted by the hostess, and our waitress upon entering; and, we were immediately escorted to our seats. Our drink orders were taken as we settled in. During the brief time our waitress was gone, my daughter and I had settled on the Thursday special: Geschnetzeltes. This pork laden meal was served atop mildly seasoned fries (rice was the other option, which my daughter chose) and smothered in a creamy, rich and hearty mushroom sauce that I found to be flavorful to an acceptable degree. Although I didn't share this observation, and thereby didn't consider it as part of my overall rating, my daughter did observe that portions of her meal were cold, raising suspicions that her meal may have simply been reheated. But, moving on, I believe it was Rousseau that pointed out that " a Spaniard could live for a month on what a German eats in a day"; and, this meal exemplified that, in a good way. I walked away feeling full, almost to the point of having over eaten, having consumed a meal that I felt was easily proportionate to an average lunch time meal. There was one notable distraction that does bear mentioning. At one point during our meal, a family, obviously familiar to the hostess, entered and began to converse with the same. The hostess did respond in a very amicable but boisterous manner. Far be it from me to deny anyone thier sense of enjoyment; but frankly, not at the expense of my own, and especially when I'm paying for it. The cost was exceptionally fair, at $9.95 before tax and tip, making this one of the most affordable meals I've had in some time.
