First time going to Myungrang Dublin. There was only one person working. I went on a Saturday afternoon. No wait to order and no people either. The restaurant was pretty empty. It took about 8 minutes for my food. I ordered the hotdog with cheese and sausage. It was good! It came out to $6.05. There is plenty of parking.

Monster double, added ketchup. Tastes ok. Very heavy on batter.

Service 3. Lady was yelling. She gave me a receipt w order number. But to get my attention she kept yelling "excuse me!" I was w someone so we were talking. Didn't realize she would yell. Food 3. It was ok, very heavy on batter and the batter was very dense.

Sweet customer service however it was mediocre. I tried liking it however the mozzarella hot dog had a alright breading. The Korean rice cakes were also nothing special and the flavors were doable

Surprisingly good and also a really good price. There are not many food items these days that you can get for under $5, especially Asian snacks! I'm thinking iTea calamari at $12 - this is much better value!! Good service and nice place too. Wasn't busy so it was quick! I'm not really a hot dog person but I liked this. Had the original. The cheddar and mustard sauces are good. They are colored suspiciously brightly, I hope the food coloring they used to make that was safe! That's alright though, I've seen much worse as a former food service worker. The sausage is made with beef. I like the plants and decorations. Was not a fan of the table, that could use an upgrade.

I was pleasantly surprised by this new Korean hot dog place. New, so the interior is spotless and plain but obviously focuses on takeaway sevice since there were only 2 tiny bistro tables and 4 chairs. The service was quick and friendly, patiently waiting as I decoded the new menu with so many options and combinations! The Mozzarella and sausage had a beautifully crisp lightly breaded exterior. The sausage was tasty, but the mozzarella was perfect - dense, rich and perfectly melted. So delicious, a lovely treat! The Monster Double was even better! The sausage and decadent mozzarella was wrapped with not only the light and crispy crust but topped by nacho cheese and shredded cheddar, then topped with pickled jalepeno peppers! I can't wait to try other options such as the potato cubes and the squid ink batter!

Mozzarella and sausage hot dog is always my choice! Can't go wrong with both items combined into one stick. You gotta get the sugar coating as well, it compliments the savoriness perfectly. Good crisp outer shell, not too heavy/greasy (though in contrast the air inside the shop is quite heavy once they deep fry). I'd recommend stepping out to enjoy the food. The hot dog and mozzarella were both delicious. This location is pretty quiet/ not super busy.

Myungrang Hotdog is a Korean based Korean Hot Dog franchise that recently opened here. No indoor seating. Seating while waiting for orders yes. Offerings: many varietals of korean hot dogs with choices of cheeses, sausage types, toppings on top of breading. Eats: Squid Ink Mozzarella (5.49) with cheese mustard -squid ink & breading is applied to mozzarella stick and fried upon ordering. -squid ink too nuanced to be tasted. Saw it applied. -batter was crunchy. Cheese mustard dip had no taste. -the mozzarella et al. was sliding down the stick as I was trying to eat it . 3.5 stars. Big dog. Not much flava. Dogs imported from Korea. Doubtful repeat. Take outs: -big parking lot. Many eateries not open yet. -many floral banquets stacked together to celebrate grand opening. -smiling, quick courteous service.

The menu says 5 pieces of tenders, but I only got 3. When I told the employee, she said, "No, you're wrong," instead of checking. I also saw her go to the restaurant next door to cook our food--she said it's the same owner and that she didn't want to turn on the stove, so she cooks there instead. The food tasted like it was just microwaved. Overall, not a good place to go.

i usually visit the location in cupertino, but decided to stop by this location since we were craving these hotdogs! our group decided to get boba nearby while we waited for our order and after waiting around 15 minutes, i went back to check in on our order and it wasn't ready. i waited even longer in store and once my order was ready, the server was generous with the sauces i requested (chili and sriracha mayo) which was nice. we all got hotdogs with mozzarella as the base and it was very crispy, delicious, and fun to eat with the cheese pull. inside seating is very limited, so we ended up eating our hotdogs at the boba spot. would come again, but wait times are definitely longer than usual at this location!

Tried this place out with my mom and brother because I was craving some Korean hotdogs. We ordered a monster double potato half & half, sweet potato half & half, and a normal potato half & half. They cheese was melted, the hot dog was good, and the potatoes were perfectly crispy. The monster double potato came with a lot of other toppings too, like jalapeños and cheese. The other dogs had the cheese mustard sauce and it paired well with the hotdog. The man that took our order and made our hotdogs was incredibly nice and patient and helped recommend the cheese mustard that we enjoyed. The place had a little bit of seating and was pretty clean inside. Overall I would definitely recommend this place to others!

We spent a day shopping and stopped by for a quick snack. Our kid somehow talked us into trying one of the fried hot dogs. Received a friendly greeting and some help in figuring out what to order. We ordered the half cheese/half hot dog with the fried potato coating. Took about 5 min and it came out piping hot. We tried all 3 sauces on the side- sweet chili, an odd looking cheese, and mustard. The fried cubed potato coating was really good. The menu is a bit limited. Would have liked some fries too to go with the dog. Nice little spot to check out.

The lady who took my order was so friendly. She greeted me with a smile and enthusiasm. The interior is small with only two tables to sit. I got the mozzarella and sausage one with sugar. I felt like there was too much batter and the sugar was dispersed unevenly. It was just okay, I think Bazak Bazak rice hot dog in hmart is definitely better.

Cute little corn dog shop, I ordered for pickup and was ready in like 5 minutes. The interior is brand new and looks very clean. I got the original hotdog and original mozzarella, both are battered in their dough and breadcrumbs for extra crunch. I guess these are not really corn dogs if there's no cornmeal in the batter huh. I like adding the sugar topping but it's messy to eat, gets all over your mouth. Each dog comes with one free sauce they taste fine but look a bit strange like neon yellow and orange not sure if it's just weird food coloring. I would come back here if I needed a quick cheap hotdog itch, I liked the hotdog over the mozzarella.

It used to be you can only join where you come near the restaurant. It must be only for busy days like Mother's Day? There was a sheet offering specials for Mother's Day, cocktails, mocktails, a kurobuta pork belly and 2 desserts. We ordered our usual fare. Great service by Ariel, she handled everything as a pro, even with the crazy business. Food came out with no delay. The only change that we noticed id the teriyaki beef. The rib eye was usually so tender and juicy, everybody that we invited here were amazed how tender and great they were. Yes, we came here quite often, and brought every and all out of town guests here. But today they were tough, on the dry side, even though cooked Rare and MediumRare. All 3 steaks. So disappointed. We finished with the Biscoff cookie sundae, which they had for Valentine, a tempura fried ice cream dessert with crumbles of Biscoff cookies and caramel drizzles. So good. The room was busy with laughter and guests enjoying the food and company on this holiday.

The fried oysters were also a great size and came with two dipping sauces, which was a nice touch. The maze ramen was a big portion and even my toddler enjoyed it. The standout for me was the tempura ice cream--perfectly crisp with a thin, light shell. Service: Our server was friendly, efficient, and very accommodating. However, the host experience was frustrating. The Yelp waitlist wasn't working on a busy Friday night, which seemed to cause some disorganization. We were quoted a 25-minute wait for a party of three, but ended up waiting 45 minutes. During that time, multiple parties of three who arrived after us were seated first. When I checked in at 35 minutes, I was told we were "next," but that didn't seem to reflect what was happening. At 45 minutes, after checking again and explaining how long we'd been waiting, we were seated immediately. It was confusing and especially difficult with a hungry toddler. Parking: Parking can be tricky. The restaurant is located under an apartment complex with limited guest spots on the first floor of the garage. If it's full, you'll have to exit and find street parking (which is minimal) or park across Dublin Blvd and walk. Overall: This was close to a perfect experience. The food and server were great, but the disorganized wait and host interaction took away from it. Hopefully they improve their system for busy nights, especially if the Yelp waitlist goes down again.

We did get seated by the kitchen, so it was a bit hectic with staff constantly rushing behind us. We got the premium set and the meat quality was great. The vegetable platter that came with the set had a nice variety of fresh veggies. We ordered udon noodles but what we got was broken up pieces of frozen noodles that looked only to be half a serving. Other than that we still enjoyed our meal and were both stuffed. Personally I'd choose the Emeryville location over this one just because it's bigger and you're not sharing a table with other guests as much.

I have always had fond memories of this place, even with it being constantly packed and busy, and with limited seating. I finally had the chance to revisit recently, and brought my husband along. We went on a Sunday, so it was inevitably packed. The parking lot is as crusty as I remember, but that's part of what makes no-frills, hole-in-the-wall restaurants solid. The ambiance inside is loud and cramped, but we were here for the food. Service was decent, all the servers were so busy taking care of everyone, I can only imagine the chaos in the kitchen. And hands down did the food deliver. The price of everything was reasonable, and the flavors were delicious. I went with the dduk bulgogi while my husband went with the mixed soondubu (medium spicy). The banchan variety was splendid, and honestly I couldn't choose a favorite. I loved the creamy potato and corn mixture, since that was unique. Sometimes restaurants skimp on banchan portions, but not here. My dduk bulgogi was packed with veggies, rice cakes, tender beef, and glass noodles. The broth had a good depth of flavor, and was not oily or rich. My husband's mixed soondubu was also delightful. I had a quick sip of his broth and it had a lovely umami flavor. The spice level was perfect. We did both wonder, however, why his bowl didn't come out bubbling while mine did. Regardless, it was still steaming hot. Both portions of soup were served with rice, and we thoroughly enjoyed taking our time savoring each bite. I dumped the remainder of my rice into the broth at the very end and that was the perfect way to end our meal. We are almost never in Hayward, since we generally frequent other parts of the bay, but I would definitely return and try some other dishes next time. Everyone always orders the seafood pancake (and a ton of people were when we went and it looked so good). Of course if I had enough stomach space, I would have ordered that too. Well that just means I have to go back, haha. All in all, don't let the location or exterior fool you. The food is solid and The Sister House is definitely one of my favorite Korean spots in the bay.
