I stopped by here on the way home yesterday. I live an hour away and when I got to the party I attended, it was still so good! Everybody enjoyed it. I appreciate the daikon it comes with because it balances out the flavors. I ordered the Vons special oven baked chicken, honey butter fried chicken, and crispy padak fried chicken. All were so good. Felt cozy and simple. The food was great. I ordered the boneless chicken with french fries and white rice. The food was hot and seasoned nicely. The chicken had a good blend of spicy and sweetness to it. The french fries were super crispy. The order also came with a pickle radish I believe. Fried chicken is consistent and super crispy. The lunch deal is a steal and a boos portion where I can only eat half with the 3 giant drums and kimchee fried rice. All around 15.00! Pick up a breeze, and that is before even trying the food. I ordered the yangnyeom at medium level added kimchi and opted for the radish (daikon). The food was hot and they vented the containers to maintain the crispy texture of both the fries and chicken. Both the fries and chicken were seasoned well and frankly some of the best fries I've had from a restaurant in a while. I don't like fried food in general, and the yangnyeom flavor just wasn't my thing. One of my friends wanted Von's for her birthday. She wanted the spicy yangnyeom flavor and kept insisting I take a bite, lol. It was actually super delicious! Since then, I've been craving their spicy yangnyeom and started to really enjoy Korean fried chicken! They are getting closer and closer to me and I'm loving it. This place is located in the plaza across Cattlemens and next door to Starbucks. My order was always crispy no matter how long my drive takes me to get home. I love getting the crispy chicken which was breaded and sprinkled with their 5 grain powder. Every bite of their chicken oozes with the juiciest meat and crunchy breading. The breading that coats each chicken is thin enough that you get chicken meat in each bite. I also love getting spicy yangnyeom. The red spicy sauce was so spicy and I am addicted to it. It's spicy yet does not burn your mouth as it has a sweet and tangy flavor to it and I still get to enjoy every bite. Always crunchy even after my long drive home from pick up. I really honestly hate giving low ratings, but I have to share my honest experience. I was really missing Korean fried chicken and ordered myself some from Vons for takeout. The one that I ordered was the one with spring onions. Picked it up, and got home and sat down to eat. The spring onions were not there! I had to drive all the way back and pick up the spring onions again and the fact that they didn't even offer anything for my troubles was a little alarming to me.. this completely ruined dinner, having to travel back-and-forth and waste 30 minutes while our food got cold at home. I had to ultimately ask for a discount and they only gave me two or three dollars in cash, and there was not even really an apology. By the time that we got home, our chicken was cold and hard and just not tasty. Anyway, I don't think I will ever be ordering from here again. Service could really use improvement. read more

I usually go with rice but this time I figure I'd try the fries and I also went for boneless chicken. It did not disappoint. It made me want to tell all my friends to come here!
