Born and raised in Midwest near KCMO, land of abundant top tier burgers and choice meats. Lived in California past 10 years, always craving a proper smashed like we had at Town Topic. Marty's is by far the best burger I've had in Cali. The quality and attention to detail impeccable. The tots, hot dog, chicken tender and pb banana sandwich were also outrageously good. Don't Tell Marty!! Best burger truck in Pleasanton/Dublin. Their truck was at a soccer tournament last weekend. The food was so good I wish I had bought an extra one for drive my home to 916. On day two.. my 4 year son ordered something that wasn't on the menu and the nice lady was happy to obliged! Finally located Marty's joint in their food truck at Wood family Vineyards this weekend. After hearing so much about their smash burgers, my wife and I wanted to give them a try. They did not disappoint.Not only were they very pleasant, They assured me they would stay open until I returned from a previous engagement. We did return and what we were able to enjoy were the best burgers by far we have ever had in the valley. Totally enjoyable, great food, good people, Marty even remembered my name!!! The only downside is that he doesn't have a permanent location I can go to whenever I want. We will be Marty's customers whenever we can find him and for as long as he's in Livermore. Seeing Marty's Joint at Charles R Wineries this past weekend was a very pleasant surprise! The smash burger is what I ordered and I have to say, the buns were so soft it was like biting into a cloud and the burger patties were seasoned to perfection and literally melted in my mouth. The other star if the show, for sure, is the homemade chili that went with the chili dog! You can taste the thought and care and time put into the chili. The food all went very well with the lovely sunny day and enjoying wine tasting in Livermore. These guys are super friendly and are definitely worth a follow on all social media so you know where they'll be next. We drove 45 min to try their bbq tots after seeing the menu on Yelp. I was so excited and then found they switched it to chili which I won't eat. I asked if I could substitute the pork belly which they had in two other dishes. I was willing to pay extra but they said no because it was an event in Livermore. They lost our group as customers.
