Reminiscent of an old-school New York deli. Of course that cuts both ways. You can get all the foods those delis carried, I.E. stuffed cabbage, hot open turkey sandwich, brisket, corned beef, matzoh ball soup, etc, etc. the other side of this coin is that like those NY delis the people are a bit "uncaring." You can stand there hungry waiting for an available table and wait and wait and wait, they're in no hurry nor do they seem to care. Guess that's a trade-off potential customers will have to consider. Located inside the isles casino.. I wanted a quick bite before dinner. it was around 2pm when I sat at the counter and sadly the service was so slow.. maybe I should tell people I'm in a hurry, but I wasn't in a hurry.. I was in the middle if that makes any sense. so I guess if it was slow then it was slow?? maybe my expectations were too high of this place. the veggie burger tasted like a can of veg all made into a pattie and served on bread, tomatoes and lettuce.. the fries were good and so we're the complementary pickles and tomatoes. Had a burger. It was good. Fries were hot and crispy. However, the food is not the reason I'm writing this review. The service is, specifically a lady named Fran (I hope I remembered that correctly). She was full of energy, a pleasure to talk to, and never stopped moving! If she wasn't wiping down tables, she was putting away ketchup. If she wasn't helping a customer, she was running an order. It kind of sucks being hungry inside a casino in Florida. I know the Isle has an amazing buffet (seafood Friday and Saturday) and a few higher class restaurants, but we wanted something quick and not too expensive. They do have a stand up in the poker room with a few snack like items, but no where to really sit and eat it. We ended up at Myron's just kind of by process of elimination. It's a deli so we figured a quick sandwich would suffice. We were seated immediately and I had brought in my glass of wine from the casino bar, though I assumed the deli probably didn't serve wine. I was wrong, the waitress was happy to get me another pinot grigio (though at $2 more than the center bar price, still $5 for a glass of wine is not a bad deal). The waitress delivered a dish of pickles to our table. It had pickled cucumbers, pickled tomatoes, and pickled red peppers. They were all great but I especially loved the red peppers. I need to pickle these at home as I hadn't considered this options before .I looked over the menu and my boyfriend and I decided to do a grilled cheese and a tuna melt and switch half for half. The food came out very quickly and we did a good job of confusing the waitress after we switched our sandwiches. She saw our plates and was concerned the kitchen did it somehow, but we assured her it was our plan. The grilled cheese was about average, could have been a little meltier. I was surprised by the tuna melt. I found the tuna salad to be quite flavorful and better than I've had at other delis in the area. The grilled cheese comes with fries, while the tuna melt does not (they come from two different sandwich sections of the menu) but the fries from the one sandwich were plenty to split between the two of us and they were pretty good as well. Our bill was a little high (the basic grilled cheese was $8), but that is kind of expected with Florida casino dining. The prices here don't even come close to what you find at the Hard Rock though, so I'm definitely not complaining. When you go to the Isle Casino at Pompano Park you become part of the "captive audience" and if you want something to eat your selection is limited to the Isle run restaurants. When I'm there I always enjoy a corned beef or pastrami sandwich at Myron's. What's more, for people who are not on the standard eating time schedule, they are open with a late night menu until 2am. Last Monday night Michelle and I dropped in for dinner at 10pm and were very satisfied with our selections. We each had a bowl of Matzoh ball soup which was presented in a unique way. We were first served a soup bowl with chicken, vegetables and a matzoh ball, then hot chicken broth was poured over it at the table. The soup was good and had plenty of white meat chicken in it. The knadle was good, too, but not as good as 3G's. I had my usual corned beef sandwich on rye and Michelle chose the pastrami. Both came with fries and we enjoyed them very much. When they first opened the place was a disaster. The hot open turkey was cold!!! I asked for a side of hot gravy and they brought cold gravy. I asked them to bring hot gravy and it was still cold. I asked the waitress if they had a microwave to heat up my gravy and she said they don't put gravy in the microwave. This went on for 30 minutes. The service and food was just not monitored. I have gone back in the last year. The service and food was better the last few times I have eaten there. We have eaten here and ordered many items off the menu. The experience has always been tainted by the first year. I have the idea that they are about to screw up the next time I go. First impression was bad. I love deli food and hope by now they have their act together. I will try them again and update my review. read more

Used to come all the time before pandemic. they used to give tray with pickles, peppers, and tomato's, now they give a slice of pickle. This place does a great job breaking through the "casino food" genre and establishing itself as a great New York style deli. The prices are just reasonable enough to keep us coming back. I highly recommend the Nosher fries and the Jewish penicillin. Complimentary pickles are a nice touch as well. Only downside: the staff have been surly with us in the later hours and the portions are not always consistent. Sometimes a dish will have way more or way less of an ingredient than it usually does. These are easy fixes. It's a fine place and we always look forward to coming back. read more

We enjoy going to Myrons because the food is always good. Last night unfortunately was a bad night. Four of us went there for dinner and asked the waitress for separate checks. Things went downhill from that point on. First the waitress told us one check for the table. When the orders arrived, three of them were wrong. The waitress then cross examined us on our our orders until but she ultimately got them right. Also, at the end we received two checks although we had been told it was impossible. We will return because the food is good. We will just avoid that particular waitress. Adding to the confusion, I called Myron's to speak to Mike Y who responded to my initial review. Nicole, you need a new career or at the very least a huge attitude adjustment. Maybe you were put off by the fact that I was put off for commenting negatively on the 20% surcharge for take out food. I realize you didn't make up that ridiculous policy but it really shouldn't have ruined your day. So I decide to sit down in Nicole's section rather than pay an extra $1.20 to walk out with my breakfast sandwich and she seemed ok until I complained about the food. Myron's serves the ham and egg sandwich on brioche and they are kind enough to cut it in half for you. And they serve it with home fries. I like my home fries with a little ketchup and a little tobasco. After doctoring them up- 1st bite- Luke warm, no crisp to the potatoes, just a soggy, cool mess. Since Nicole was busy waiting on the one other person in the restaurant, she didnt come back and check on me until I had finished the 1st half of the sandwich. Now I ate the 1st half of the sandwich slowly as the cooks were able to manage to soak up that brioche with enough grease that I had to apply a certain amount of pressure to release it- just like a sponge, just to eat it. And hey, nice use of powdered eggs. You couldn't crack a real egg? Really? When Nicole returned, I responded to her, "how is it?" question with my observation that the potatoes were cold. She laughed and rolled her eyes. Not sure if that was aimed at me or the cooks but she was certainly put off by my comment. She even asked me to scrape the potatoes off my plate and should world have the cooks "reheat" them for me. Remember, I have already put ketchup and tobasco on them. So yeah, after I have finished the 2nd half of my powdered egg brioche grease sponge, here come the home fries. On the same greasy plate!! The cooks couldn't even give me a clean plate for my refried home fries!! What a joke!! And no, I didn't eat them. I don't want to eat cook spit. The kicker was Nicole made change for me at my table and didn't say a word to me. No thanks. No fuck you. No nothing. Going back, ate with a group and bill had an 18% surcharge for a tip which of course is proper. My tab was closed out. I made a separate individual take-out order. They grabbed my ticket (guess I should have paid with the cashier before giving my private order) and altered it to combine the in-house and take out order. Myron's is a true NY deli in south Florida. Even liked the location in a race track cum slot palace I can get my deli fix here now that the best ever-The Rascal House is gone. After several recent visits to The Carnegie and Stage in NY I am afraid the deli may be a dying concept. Too bad for the next generation. read more

What a huge disappointment this place was! I like the Isle Casino, & the convenience factor of eating in house, but you would think a Jewish deli in a primo spot like this would be really something to write home about, not so! The only thing I liked about this place was the pickled peppers, tomatoes, & sour dill pickles tray @ the start of the meal, after that it was pure unadulterated crapola, absolute garbage was served, the food is Horrendous with a capital H. The staff was very accommodating, having said that the rest of the visit was disappointing. 'Deli' conjures up big beautiful sandwiches on thick FRESH rye bread or rolls. Came here last week for a late afternoon meal and to spend a few hours in the casino. We were seated immediately, and our server brought us a plate of delicious pickled cucumbers, green tomatoes & red bell peppers; I loved it. For the meal, I ordered a grilled chicken breast sandwich, which was served with a side of fries. All of the food was fantastic; I just had to add a little more mayo for full satisfaction. He ordered a breakfast plate of some kind, and liked it all as well. Our server was attentive, but could have shown a smile once in a while (maybe she was tired or having a rough day), but she did her job and gave us everything we requested. Quality First? My tuchis! eh This Kosher-style deli has declined considerably in recent years. The Pastrami & Roast Beef is simply inedible. It has an organic-like aftertaste. This wasn't the case when I began frequenting Myron's in 2010. They obviously changed brand names. They would rather sacrifice quality & taste to save money on food - be it Kosher, Kosher-Style, or otherwise. I will not be frequenting Myron's again until they finally address the concerns of myself and others. Rare beef brisket? Come on. Not even close to being good. Second time to Myron's this month. First time it took 25 minutes for a green salad with a piece of salmon. This time rare brisket covered up with brown gravy. Myron's has got to up its game. Never had or have seen a brisket recipe calling for it to be rare. We're always on the lookout for a good NY style deli. Myron's looked like it had potential walking in. I asked about the pickle tray I saw in some pictures and was told they don't do that anymore? Matzo ball soup was average for south Florida. Pastrami and corned beef ( we tried two sandwiches) were slightly better than average . Cole slaw was not creamy as you might get in NY and the potato salad was definitely not close to NY deli quality. So there you have it. Promising because they do have Dr. Browns soda and egg creams but they fall way short on authenticity. I believe part of the problem is that many now a days in S Florida wouldn't know good deli anyway so the deli's get away with average to save money. What they don't realize is that people talk. A great deli this is not but for a quick Pastrami Sand. It will have to do in this area or while in the casino. Service was very average. read more

You have got to be kidding. I have been to this restaurant twice...The first time they charged my card an extra 20% for three days! The service is horrible...the hostess actually treats the clientele there as if she is doing them a favor!!! And all the manager, Dave, can say is "I am sorry". Ugh!! What is the problem with this restaurant ? Every time I come then it is another issue with the warmth of my food... If I want hot food a.k.a. hot pastrami a hot - why do I have to eat it as a Ben & Jerry's ice cream..... Don't these people in this restaurant have devices known as the stove, oven, microwave?..... The last time my friend and I went we asked for a hot knish because the last time we were there, knish was ice cold we emphasized three times hot knish each of us wanted one... The waitress looked at us like we were nuts repeating it three times over and sarcastically said I got it don't worry , I've been working here a while... Sure enough my friend got his knish and it was cold in the middle I didn't have the same problem I just never got my Knish.... Generally the pastrami and corn beef are fine just avoid the knish... the latkes needs about a quart of salt as does the soup, to have any semblance of taste... So I went here last night, I didn't expect much for being 2 am but I should have listened to my gut and just went to McDonald's. It took 45 mins for 2 eggs sandwiches. That finally she looked over at me patiently waiting and I guess realized that my to go order had been ready sitting there.
