I love to eat at Myron's when I come to the casino. The food is ALWAYS good and the service is VERY fast!

The menu isn't great, almost too simple. While the food was good, it was incredibly expensive for a half of a sandwich and a soup. The sandwich was literally just meat on bread, nothing special. I wasn't able to get the bread I wanted because they simply would not do it. The menu is not clear at all and they nickel and dime you on everything. There are much better delis in the area that are more deserving of my business. It doesn't even feel like they try or care to try. read more

Ordered beef pot roast with mashed potatoes at 9 o'clock at night and it was good! The pot roast was so tender and the mashed potatoes were real, handmade. Yum! Another side was a colorful and fresh fruit cup. My waitress, Jackie, was sweet and kind. Very nice meal and very nice staff. read more

Their Reuben hit the spot after some drunken Roulette at Harrah's Casino across from Top Golf. Delicious! We need more vintage delicatessens in SoFlo where you can be shouting the odds of gambling amongst patrons while enjoying a nice meal at the counter. This brought back fond memories of 4am Wolfie's in Miami after the clubs. read more

The service was excellent today, but my corned beef on rye was a sandwich of thin fat slices. It was terrible and chewy. They need quality control here and should buy meats from Carnegie Deli. They're still making product even though their famous Manhattan location has been closed for years, and it's still owned by members of the Parker family. We went on a Tuesday for lunch. We were told to sit anywhere. We selected a booth and waited to be acknowledged. And we waited.... They were not busy when we initially entered however traffic picked up for the lunchtime hour. It appeared there was only one server. When we were finally acknowledged I think our server was a manager who jumped in to help. She was great. Our food took longer than expected to come out. I had biscuits and gravy, $7.99, and my friend had an omelette with hash browns, $12.99. Her hash browns would have been too well done for me. The food was average. The prices were very reasonable for the servings. Breakfast is served all day. There is currently a lot of construction going on inside and out of the casino. Parking is convenient in the 5 story garage, valet is available also. read more

Waitress was horrible. Did not get her name but she had an eye patch. When we walked in she said '2?' We said 'yes' she grabbed menus and walked off. We werent sure if we were supposed to follow or wait. Apparently we were supposed to follow. When she eventually came back to the table for the initial greet, she said nothing. I was expecting 'can i start you off with something to drink'. All we got was a smile. That was it. Just staring at us smiling. Very awkward. I eventually just said our drink and food order. Food took a bit to come out. It was ok. She never checked on us. I waved her down to ask for a box and the bill. When she gave me the bill there was a $25 steak on our bill along with our food. I waved her down and said 'we didnt order steak' and she said 'oh i know he is fixing it' no idea who 'he' is but she seemed like she already knew the steak was on the bill. Whole thing was strange. Place looked like it could use a good cleaning. Floor looked dirty and in bad shape. Cracked tiles and floor moulding was dirty. I expected a little more from Harrahs. The Food was suspect, but the service was good. We walked in to the only restaurant opened at the casino on a Sunday night. Renka, was the bartender who waved us over to one of her booths while she served many other people at the bar area. At first we were hesitant to sit in her area, but Renka was a 5 star waitress. She was super pleasant and very knowledgeable about the food. Unfortunately, the food was well below standard. The chicken had an okay flavor, but was difficult to chew. The mashed potatoes were runny and slimy which freaked me out! The patty melt was edible, but forgettable due to a bland taste. The fries were the only good thing going. Last Sunday we hit the casino to try our luck and decided to stay to grab a bite. The counter was busy so one of the waitresses (Ally) saw us and called us to come around to be seated in the dining room. Ally sat us in a booth in the back where it was warmer as I felt chilly. She quickly brought me the chicken noodle soup which was full of noodles and chicken and then I tried the pot roast and that was very hearty. I thought it was great and the amount of fresh green beans they served was crazy. I had so much that I had to take the leftovers home for lunch. She always had a smile on her face when we see her and we actually prefer to sit in her section whenever possible. We will be back for more of the potroast, large portions, and the great service from Ally. read more

Solid service and generous food portions. If you are looking for comfort food --- then look no further than Myron's. From fried chicken to meatloaf, hamburger's to steak sandwiches --- they have you covered. I stumbled on this place because it is located inside the casino. Just a brief update. Myron's is our go to restaurant at the casino now -/ since they closed our favorite bragozza many many moons ago. Their steak restaurant is just a tad too formal for a quick bite. We usually sit at the counter for faster service -- although this is not fast food. We were at the casino for the first time in over a year and decided to have a bite before losing a few dollars in the slots. I got my usual -- a grilled hot dog with fries. He got an open faced turkey sandwich. The hot dog was perfectly cooked -- well done on the grill as requested. It comes with a small side of sauerkraut and mustard. It was surprisingly even better than remembered. And a petty inexpensive dinner. There were a lot of French fries -- way too many to eat in one sitting. His open faced turkey came on rye bread with mashed potatoes and brown gravy. It was a huge portion. He took half home for another meal. The mashed potatoes are still the real deal. And the turkey is not the processed kind either. They didn't have many diners on the night we were there. And everything is cooked from scratch so it isn't the fastest experience. But what we had was quite good. I'd expected an increase in prices or a decrease in quality and neither happened. If you order wisely -- there are some expensive items here -- keeping in mind portions are large, you can dine relatively inexpensively right inside the casino --- and not lose any precious time at your favorite machine. read more

If you are looking for a good, generous-sized deli sandwich and sour pickles this is not the place for it. This place is hit or miss for deli.. and miss for attentive service. Especially at the counter it may take a while until the server even acknowledges that you exist! One elderly lady got up and left after being ignored! For $17 I had a very fatty corned beef on rye; each half of which was gone after 3-4 small bites. It came with a tiny portion of coleslaw in a flimsy paper cup and one very small pickle. The only positive was a generous portion of fries, which tasted salty. If you happen to end up here I'd skip the (fatty) deli sandwiches and get a dinner platter. If you want a good sized, NY style delicious deli sandwich for less go to Ben's in Boca. P.S. I mentioned the fatty sandwich to the server... no comp/discount.. nothing! read more

It has been a while since I have commented on this establishment. The last three times we have been here? The service actually was better. Let's say a 3. But today, with virtually NO ONE sitting at the counter, my wife and I sat and ordered at 530 From the counter we saw our food come up 550 or so. Our server, bless her heart saw the food and LET IT SIT THERE. She waited on a few folks then decided to bring it over at 605 pm. We told her to take the food back and that it was UNACCEPTABLE. So, my suggestion is this. STAY AWAY from Myron's. Expectations are so low, bring a peanut butter and jelly sandwich with you instead of eating there. Or go to Farradays if it is open. Because quite candidly, the service for this "premium upscale property" in this deli SUCKS. We did speak with the supervisor about it, and he apologized, but we have heard the same song and dance before. Didn't offer anything except words. If you look back at my previous comments, a manager commented they would do better. So there is plenty of opportunity to fix the known issues. The question is, in what year?. We are done. Never again. Fool me once shame on you, you folks fooled me twice, so shame on me for believing this place can work. read more

Yikes. The majority of this poor score is due to the bizarrely bad service that we got here. We had looked up the hours online, rushed there and arrived to eat dinner about 20-25 minutes before their closing time. We could tell walking up that they must have decided to close up early. There was also no one at the to-go counter which was supposed to close even later! We flagged someone down and she dismissed us immediately and said "we are closed". We asked if they closed early and she just said they close when they don't have customers. We asked to get some food to-go and she said we could only get what was in the cold case. She eventually agreed to let us buy soup since it hadn't been thrown out yet. That was a mistake since it was luke-warm and seemed to be a mix of multiple soups they had left over. Don't advertise a closing time on multiple platforms including your own website and then close early. And if you do, at least be apologetic about it and don't act lIke the customer is at fault. read more

Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Parking: 1 Myron's is located inside of the Isle Casino on Powerline Road just south of Atlantic Boulevard in Pompano. Most people only go here if they are already in the casino, but it is more than worth the trouble of dealing with the crowded parking and walking through the casino to get to it. Unlike the reservation casinos, there is no indoor smoking allowed here and for me, that makes it much more tolerable. The food is amazing. I can only guess that they benefit from the expertise of the same people that design the high end and fine dining options in the casino, because the gold is in the details, sauces, and dressings. We shared the fried chicken sandwich, that had a lights out Chile Mayo that will be addictive. We also had the griddled meatloaf, which was tender, juicy, and flavorful. Again, the show stealer was the sauce, this time a tangy ketchup to accompany the meatloaf. Finally, the best deal in the house and an absolute must try, The Nosher! This is a bowl of French fries, topped with carmelized onions, brown gravy, and a huge portion of freshly roasted and fall apart tender brisket. I was so happy to see this is still on the menu, and still only $6.50. Look at the picture, amazing. To offset The Nosher as much as we could, we subbed side salads for the fries that would have otherwise come with our meals. The side salads were huge, with generous thick cut veggies toppings, and fresh! The salads were so nice we were very surprised there was no up-charge on our bill. My only small disappointment/complaint is you used to get a bowl of garlic pickles and green tomatoes when you sat down (ala free bread at most places). They must have stopped this practice, because when I asked for some they brought out a plate with only two pickles, no tomatoes, and charged us for them. Nevertheless, still an easy 5 stars. 5/03/23 My friend, Paul, told us about Myron's, mentioning that they had delicious sandwiches. So, we stopped in today to get a bite, and we took some videos of the demolition of the Grandstands at the old Pompano Park. We ordered a hot beef brisket sandwich, with a pickle, and cole slaw. It all tasted delicious. Our Server, Jackie was as nice as she could be and did a great job. She represents Myron's in 5 star fashion. When I read the History of Myron's, I was very interested, because my Dad loved his dry, anecdotal humor. Back in the day, Myron was in a class by himself. He didn't seem to smile, while on stage. My Dad even had some of his records. Thank you Mr. Goldstein, as your gesture of naming your restaurant was a great one, in respect for a terrific entertainer. It was a pleasure to stop by today, and we enjoyed the experience and will come back for a nice breakfast.
