Tried this diner style restaurant today for breakfast and we were beyond satisfied! We were greeted warmly the minute that we walked in and promptly escorted to a table. Our waitress was super attentive and friendly. You can tell immediately that people frequent this spot as the servers had quite the rapport with the majority of the patrons. It felt like you were going to a family's house for breakfast. My husband and I ordered Biscuits w/gravy, hash browns, corned beef hash, home fries, eggs, and blueberry pancakes. Everything was superb and not one crumb was left on our plates! The coffee is fresh and plentiful too. Price points were reasonable with it being about $13 per entree. Very worth it considering the portions you get. Enjoy!

Food service ambiance was 100% price very offeradable vacation from Columbus OH great way to end We will be back worldwidecatering44@yahoo.com

The breakfast with my finally filled coffee cup

I stopped at the Toasted Cafe for breakfast this morning and considering previous reviews, I expected something pretty good. I am sorry to say that I was disappointed. I was greeted by a lady who escorted me to a table and left me with a menu. After a few minutes went by, a waitress came over and asked what I wanted to drink. I told her coffee with creamer and after a few minutes went by, she brought it over. She asked if I was ready to order and I told her that I needed a few more minutes. I noticed that if you want eggs, you have only two choices (fried or scrambled eggs). I also noticed that if you want cheese with your eggs or omelette, there is an additional charge. I had notified in a previous review that the bagels were delicious and there was also an additional charge for that as well. I ordered scrambled eggs with bacon, well done home fries and a toasted everything bagel (they only had an everything or a plain bagel). After I ordered, my coffee cup remained empty for 7 minutes 58 seconds with my waitress passing by me 3 times and not observing the empty cup. When she brought me my food, she finally asked if I needed coffee. The food cooked by the cook was fine, but the bagel was not fresh, but you could tell it was originally frozen. It was so lightly toasted that it was very doughy tasting. Although the waitress asked if I needed ketchup when she brought the food, she NEVER came back to the table again. I had finished my second cup of coffee when the owner/manager came walking by and immediately asked if she could get me more coffee. What a difference. This is only a breakfast and lunch restaurant. On its advertising, it says that it is a Greek restaurant. Greek restaurants are known for their hospitality and food quality. Although the food that was cooked was fine, the bagel, the ambiance and the service lacked a great deal. Unfortunately, I find it very difficult to recommend this establishment.

WOW! I'm a local and I can't believe I have never been to this cafe. I have past it several time, and I remember it being one of margates top picks and I finally got to try it this morning. It's a plaza on Atlantic blvd. As my guest and I walked in we were greeted and seated immediately. The cafe was clean and had cute little touches to it. Our waitress was amazing, she was so attentive on refilling coffee, and getting us whatever we needed. We both started off with hot coffees which were good! I ordered the French toast platter in addition to side of grits, and my guest ordered the Supreme omelet with a side of grits and rye toast. The food was FRESH, and DELICIOUS! The rye bread was superb. They are open 7am-2pm 7 days of week; Great prices, and atmosphere. I will definitely be back, I had an amazing experience. They have really great people working there.

I am very disappointed in my visit yesterday, it took me a day to get over this. I ordered 1 egg and a bagel. Mind you my co-workers and I eat here alot! I was floored when the bill came and was charged $8 for 1 egg and $1 for the bagel. Well Lester's it is you from now on! Dont think any of us will be going back. The food it good. But if you have steady customers treat them a little better. Sorry.

I've been here twice, the first was on a Monday morning, it was very empty and clean and the service was on point and the ladies were very kind. The second time I went during the busiest time of a Sunday morning. And yet despite all the busyness it was still very clean, everyone was super polite and the food was super delicious and flavorful! The food is not only very tasty but for the price especially now in this day and age is amazing. This place is close to where I go to church so I'll stop by more often.

Bustling breakfast spot ! Local diner was too busy & Yelp recommend this place. Friendly service (ask for Joanne) and great breakfast. Belgian waffle was the highlight. Would have loved real maple syrup instead of the pancake "syrup". Still was delicious !

I'm sure that location is still great but I was able to live without having to buy donuts for some years. Then came an impromptu trip to Margate since we saw there is a Dandee Donut Factory there. And Costco. Because why not. The time to eat donuts is now. We only bought donuts to go so I can't speak to the dine-in experience or food. The diner counter and tables looked fun to sit at. Their breakfast sandwiches sound amazing and I drooled a little accidentally looking at their diner menu. Did they always make bagels? I'm not that much of a Dandee connoisseur but I feel inspired to go back and try the bagels and their food food. The counter wasn't very busy when we walked in, thanks to two staff workers who were taking orders. Imagine my delight when we asked for a half dozen donuts and the gentleman staffer said we can choose 7. I will now miscount dozens from now on. I asked for the sour cream donuts because the shelf for them was empty (gasp) and he reassured me that they have more in the back to refill. We asked what the crunch part of the blueberry crunch donut was and he said the blueberries themselves have been prepared to be crunchy. We got 2 of those and they were the best bites in the whole box. The donuts were chock full of flavor of the blueberries and the crunch from them was the unexpected texture you want in a donut to cut through the dense dough. No wonder these donuts are one of their best selling ones. We got an apple fritter because it was massive, like a bear claw ate a stack of biscuits. The cinnamon and apple tastes were present but the dough was a little empty to me, so it left a lot of oil taste. Like it reminded you that all these buggers have been deep fried when you don't want to be reminded. The chocolate, double chocolate and cookies and cream donuts all used the same chocolate donut base which was a little dry to me but had nice cocoa flavor. It's strange but I ended up preferring some frosting to the chocolate donuts to have some moisture to the bite. With carb loading season coming up, I'll plan for another excursion to Margate to get a half dozen box of sour cream and blueberry crunch donuts! I mayyyy share.

I went with the Drunken Goat on his suggestion, and he did not miss. This burger was exceptional. The lamb and beef blend brought deep, rich flavor, the honey whipped goat cheese added a smooth tang, and the purple haze raspberry jam gave it just the right sweet edge.
