A great hidden gem. The food was delicious, great customer service, and very reasonably priced. I highly recommend this restaurant. They are family owned so everyone servicing you is family. Meaning, they will treat you LIKE family and that's endearing. Please keep in mind that this is not a fancy restaurant but it is fantastic for a quick breakfast or lunch.

We were near by and the Kendall Kafe came up via Yelp and we decided to give it a try. It is located in a small strip mall in the middle of Kings Point on Nob Hill. It's next to a Humana office so the parking lot looks a lot busier than the restaurant - although when we left all tables were occupied and there was a short wait. First, the restaurant is clean and welcoming. There are a lot of positive affirmations on the walls and the staff is friendly. I had the Athenian made with egg whites. The filling was nicely distributed and there wasn't an overload of any one ingredient. I opted for grits and a biscuit for my accompaniments. I enjoyed it all. My coffee was hot and fresh. Since I drink it black, I always appreciate a fresh cup of coffee. My husband had a grilled cheese sandwich with ham. He had cucumber salad as his side. He enjoyed his meal as well. The menu has a nice variety, is reasonably priced and it was nice to not have to mortgage my home for breakfast. Will definitely stop by again next time we are in the neighborhood.

This is a case study on how business can change locations and still deliver the same level of quality in food and service The place is spotless as the previous location (D'apples cafe that was a tradition in Coral Springs pre pandemic, from veterans family and reopened a bit south few years ago) Today I left gym and decided that since wife was back home sleeping in,I would revisit the place And sure enough I found new options on the already good menu. It is healthy ! It has avocado on it ! And it is rye toast !(with butter but...I am just human) Jokes aside, it is a good omelet with good hashbrowns and the price is pretty good Service always on point.

Hands down one of the best breakfasts I've had. My husband found this gem while were down by fort Lauderdale. We both got the hillbilly (don't judge! We were hungover and it looked so good) we also asked for a side of gravy for our potatoes- def recommend! I got the home fries. They were the best home fries I've ever ate. Crispy on top! I might wear out the word YUM but yum!! I also got the sausage links. Which were huge. There was way too much food but I loved sampling everything on my plate. Our server was very attentive and nice. Everyone that worked there was friendly. The outside was was a little dodgy at first. But inside was simple charming old fashion diner. They don't have Wi-Fi but it gives you a chance to enjoy your company. My only complaint is there isn't one by me!! Yummmm!

We came in yesterday and were very disappointed. Our last visit wowed us, today we wondered what went wrong. The service was slow despite it being half full. It seemed like there were 3 servers. We were seated promptly but then another 10 minutes before sometime took our order. I ordered the tuna melt on rye with Cole slaw and an iced coffee. I was so excited that they had coffee ice cubes but the coffee itself was bitter and needed a lot more creamers than I'm used to putting in. My tuna melt was lackluster. A small amount of tuna with a slice of cheese on heavily buttered rye. The tuna tasted off to me. The cole slaw was the star of my lunch. My husband got the country fried steak sandwich which he ate but said he would not get it again. I highly doubt we will return or next time stick with basic breakfast fare which is what we had last time.

Kendall Kafe, formally known as D'Apple Cafe in a new location in Tamarac. Located in the old Thai Shushi restaurant in the strip Plaza. The owners had to close their old restaurant last year do to COVID-19, at that time I was very sad to see it as they had been there 13 years. Interior design is more modern. Has a couple counter seats. Great for breakfast and lunch. Was happy to see the friendly faces of owners and staff. They kept the other place very clean and this place was no exception. Being they had opened just a few days ago the kinks of being open for their first weekend were being worked out. Nothing major, just need to maybe move the host station over by the door for greeting, seating and menus. Same great food quality and service. Please folks support local family owned business. This is one of the good ones to come to!!!!

Walking into LaSpada's Original Hoagies isn't just ordering lunch, it's stepping into a deli version of a live sporting event. There's energy, there's precision, and yes, there's the legendary "airmail" toss of freshly sliced meat flying down the line like it's got somewhere important to be. Blink and you miss it. Smile and you're part of it. I went with my go-to: the Italian. And not just any Italian... this thing shows up dressed to impress. We're talking Boar's Head ham, cappy, pastrami, and provolone, sliced fresh right in front of you, then launched with deli theatrics onto perfectly waiting Italian bread. From there, it gets piled high with crisp veggies and those Italian peppers that quietly steal the show. Every bite hits like it's been rehearsing for years. Somewhere around bite three, I had a moment of clarity: "This isn't a sandwich... it's a commitment." Plot twist... you think you're just grabbing lunch. You're not. You're entering into a multi-meal agreement. A large sub here doesn't just feed you, it sticks with you. Lunch today, lunch tomorrow, maybe a late-night "just one more bite" situation. It's generous in a way that feels personal. My wife ordered the roast beef, and wow. Perfectly rare, ridiculously tender, sliced fresh and yes, sent flying down the line like it had a boarding pass. It was the kind of sandwich that makes you reconsider your own order mid-bite. Quick detour, because it deserves it... the homemade macaroni salad. I don't throw this around lightly, but I'd put it up against anyone's for best in class. Creamy, balanced, and somehow disappears faster than you expect. That's not an accident. And then you remember... this place took home "Best Sub in South Florida" from the Sun-Sentinel in 2025. Not surprising. Honestly, it feels overdue. Micro twist: you walk in thinking you'll try something new next time. You won't. You'll be back for the same order, and you'll be happy about it. After 25+ years in Coral Springs, they're not just consistent, they're automatic. The kind of place where you don't wonder if it'll be good... you just decide how hungry you are. Highest recommendation. Five stars, no hesitation. Final thought: Some places make sandwiches. LaSpada's Original Hoagies makes believers.

The first location was at Lauderdale By The Sea in Ft Lauderdale that I went to when I was younger. The Coral Springs location is close to me so I usually visit that one. It never disappoints because the hoagies are made to order with many toppings to choose from. The hoagies are piled high and come in 2 sizes. The sweet peppers are the best and are brought in from Chester, PA. The options of breads are wheat or white and always are soft and flavorful. My go to hoagie is the Turkey on wheat. The meats are sliced fresh to order right in front behind the topping station. The service is quick in making the sandwiches. You can also order over the phone or online for pickup. I always feel welcome. There is a small amount of seating. It's mostly a quick to go shop. Definitely will be back!

If it's your first time there it can be a little confusing on ordering but we figured it out and we were well taken care of. We were going to start with pretzel bites but we had a little snafu after a long talk about pickles and my pickle phone case so we ended up with the fried pickles. They were amazing and they weren't spears or slices they were bite size barely breaded (yay!) bites with a little bit of heat sauce. So good! They are obviously not made from frozen and are soooooo good! We then had the pretzel bites. It came with a thick cheese sauce that had a kick. My husband and I loved them too! I had a caprese hoagie (pressed) small. And my husband has a small North Fork small hoagie. It looked amazing and was HUGE for a small. We also had handcut fries. I love when restaurants serve fresh cut fries. They just taste different. So good. All in all, we loved it! There is something for everyone to eat and we are so happy we ended up here by default! Next time it will be on purpose.
