What can I say about MADNESS? It's spacious and clean. It's an upscale Chinese buffet. I say upscale because they have head on shrimp, crab legs and frog's legs and chicken livers (my favorite). The serving staff are efficient and nice.

We had a very good lunch experience here. It's a buffet of both Chinese and Japanese food plus a hibachi station, too. I did a brief walk around and decided to try the Chinese side first. Sampled egg rolls, dumplings, shrimp, two types of chicken, baby clams, baked stuffed oysters. My only minor quibbles were that the oysters were just stuffing oyster flavored and the hot food could have been hotter in temperature. On my second plate, I tried some of the sushi including seaweed salad and squid salad; masago; krab; California roll. Tried another "oyster" just to see if the first one was a one off -- without an oyster -- but no. Also had a very good salt n pepper shrimp and an excellent baked mussel. Then there were the desserts -- lots of little cakes, fried doughnuts puddings, flan, ice cream, etc. I enjoyed the lychees and the hot apple pie the most. Almost everything was in the very good category. And there's certainly a lot of choices and quantity. We'd been to this location many times over the years through all its restaurant genres. This one should do quite well here as the neighborhood discovers it.

Well finally a hit for this Pompano Beach corner! Madness Buffet is a great addition to the community and should do quite well here serving Palm Aire, Cypress Bend , The Pomp, and local workers in the community. The food is very fresh and very delicious! I served myself mainly from the Sushi buffet. The hot dishes from the other buffet sections were tempting. My wife always kids me for asking if there is Banana pudding for dessert, no matter what restaurant or cuisine... Well they do have a dessert buffet and they have BANANA PUDDING! ... and it is a very good Banana pudding at that!

Located in Pompano right between 95 and the turnpike and across the street from Harrah's The Pomp casino, this fairly new sushi, Chinese, and hibachi buffet is a great new addition to the buffet space in Broward. Adult prices range from $15.99 - $22.99 depending on lunch, dinner, or weekend. Seniors and kids 3-10 are discounted. Staff if welcoming and around to clean plates, fill drinks, clean and refresh the buffet. We came on a weekend and there was a decent flow of customers but we never saw a wait or did it get super crowded. The busiest spot at one point was the hibachi pick up drop off area. For the price you get a good variety of warm dishes and the sushi was fresh. They didn't have any seaweed salad which I always look forward to on a sushi buffet. They have shrimp cocktail and raw oysters but they did not have crab legs. Hibachi had a wide selection of items to include, some I haven't seen before on a hibachi line. Desserts were pretty standard for a buffet but the did have lychees so that is always a plus in my book. Not sure what the difference is between lunch and dinner as far as the food offered goes but it's very hard to go out nowadays and get a good quality meal for either of those prices, let alone all you can eat. I'll definitely be back to try either lunch or a weekday dinner to see if there is difference.

I come from a family of all-you-can-eat buffet lovers, so it was basically a given that we had to check out Madness Buffet on Powerline Road near Atlantic Ave. It's located in the old Ruby Tuesday's spot (which I think was also a seafood boil place at one point). We went on a weekday for lunch, which is a great deal at $15.99 (dinner is $22.99). Right when I walked in, I was impressed--the restaurant is bright, clean, and very well-kept. The walls have fun graphics, but the real focus here is definitely the food. We were quickly seated at a comfortable table, and then it was time to dig in. We started with the sushi, which had a surprisingly large selection: spicy tuna, salmon, kani, Philadelphia rolls, veggie rolls, and a few specialty options like the Florida, Madness, and Love rolls. I also tried some of the cold items, including Caesar salad, cucumber salad, a really tasty apple slaw, and fresh peel-and-eat shrimp. For hot foods, there's a solid variety--hibachi, fried favorites, and a mix of chicken, seafood, and other dishes. Standouts for us included the dumplings, green beans, seafood boil, crab Rangoon, and little neck clams. They also offer a selection of soups if you're in the mood for something lighter. Dessert had plenty of options too: fresh fruit, Jell-O, pudding, small cake slices, palmiers, and ice cream. One thing I really appreciated was that the ice cream comes in individual pre-packaged cups--much more hygienic than the typical buffet setup. I tried the fudge and strawberry ripple, and both were delicious. They also offer vanilla and even cotton candy. Throughout the meal, the staff was attentive without being overbearing. They regularly cleared plates, refilled drinks, and checked in on us. The level of service really stood out. Overall, I thought the quality and variety of food were excellent for the price. Even the restroom was spotless, which says a lot about how well they maintain the place. You can tell they're on top of everything. We left completely stuffed--and officially fans of Madness Buffet.

This new buffet place was great... for $15.99 lunch ($14.99 if you are senior over 65) you get a large variety of sushi, soups, hibachi, raw bar, hot food, fried food, desserts and more. I thought the quality of the food was really good compared to other similar buffet establishments in the area. And the price is very attractive. The staff was very nice. All the stations were very cleaned and food was replenished often. My favorite dishes were the steamed tilapia, the chicken teriyaki, the egg drop soup, the sushi (over 20+ types), the little neck clams, the chicken on a stick, the hibachi and the seafood boil. Overall a great meal for little money.

Located across from the Harrah's Casino is the newly opened Madness Buffet. It is an all-you-can eat restaurant offering a wide variety of American-Chinese cuisine, a hibachi station, freshly made sushi rolls, meats & seafood, and yummy desserts all at a moderate price. There is also a to-go option priced by the pound. I stopped by for lunch. After I greeted the hostess, got seated quickly, and gave my drink order, I walked around the various stations to see what was being offered. The various food items were neatly displayed and labeled for identification. I made sure to take small portions so I would not get overly full too quickly. The atmosphere was casual, featuring a large brightly-lit dining area suitable for groups. The employees were hardworking. They made sure to replenish the displayed food items when necessary. The support staff came around in a timely manner to remove the empty plates, refill your beverage, and to make sure the tables are cleaned for the next guests. I was stuffed after three plates. For $20, I was able to eat to my stomach's capacity, which was not bad at all. I thoroughly enjoyed my first dining experience at Madness Buffet and hope it won't be my last.

Came here for my dad's birthday yesterday. They have a great selection of sushi and other dishes you don't see in other buffets. The place is kept clean and the food was yummy. The service was also great and our waitress was attentive and helpful. I also like how the ice cream was in individual containers. Definitely a place to try if you're looking for a buffet or just great food in general.

Let me start by saying this: I am not usually a fan of Chinese buffets... but Madness Buffet completely changed my mind--and then some. This place offers all the classic Chinese buffet favorites and levels it up with a fresh sushi bar and on-the-spot hibachi cooked right in front of you. Yes, please. From traditional staples like General Tso's chicken and Moo Goo Gai Pan to shrimp boils, seafood galore, and endless options, the variety here is honestly impressive. Everything was fresh, well stocked, and beautifully laid out. Even better? The restaurant is clean, bright, and welcoming--something that really matters with buffets. The staff deserves a shoutout too: friendly, attentive, and constantly checking in to make sure everything is perfect. One of my favorite things is that if you're short on time, you can always make a to-go box and bring the goodness home. Convenient and delicious. I walked in skeptical and walked out a believer. I'd absolutely go back again and again--without hesitation. Oh, and don't leave without ordering the sweet tea. Trust me on that one. If you're craving variety, freshness, and solid service all in one place, Madness Buffet delivers on every level.

Welcome to Madness Buffet!

After months of waiting, Madness Buffet has finally opened! I am so happy that it did! From the moment you walked in, the staff was welcoming and the buffet was clean and bright! After being seated, I made my way around the buffet to see what I wanted to eat. Have targeting everything I wanted, I went straight to the sushi bar. The sushi chefs were nice enough to explain to me what was in some of the rolls in their specialty area. I then went over to the Chinese buffets followed by The hibachi. Everything tasted fresh with delicious aftertastes. I took my time so it's not to get filled too quickly. I can honestly say that I enjoyed every single bite! The prices are the best I've seen and I'll be back for sure!

This place was fantastic. Table service was quick and friendly. The restaurant looks brand new and everything was spotless. So many delicious options to choose from at the buffet. The quality of the sushi was good. The hot food options were terrific. I wish I could have put this place in my pocket and brought it home with me. We went for lunch and it was not very crowded.

The polenta is no longer served at the table, but it isn't really missed. The salad bar is well-stocked with fresh greens and several savory sides that are always plentiful. The meats are served frequently and are always cooked to your preferred temperature upon request. For dessert, my favorites remain the passion fruit mousse and the brigadeiro cake--they even brought me the mousse with chocolate sauce when I asked! The atmosphere is private and cozy. It isn't ostentatious, yet it feels special enough for a celebration or a nice casual dinner. Thank you for the wonderful experience!

(6997 w commercial Blvd…read moreTamarac Fl) My girlfriend and I visited this Chow Time location twice within about a week, spending well over $100 between the two visits. The food was decent, and while the desserts tasted store-bought, the food is not why I'm leaving this review. The reason is how we were treated. While we were still sitting at our table eating dessert, another employee politely brought us the check and said, "Thank you. Pay whenever you're ready." That was professional and exactly how it should have been handled. Less than 10 minutes later, our waitress came back to our table, even though she had already seen the other employee deliver the check. She shook the checkbook in front of us and asked if we were going to pay. We were literally still eating dessert. We had not been sitting there for an unreasonable amount of time, nor had we given anyone a reason to believe we intended to leave without paying. What made this even more disturbing was that there were customers of other races who had been seated longer than we had, yet they were not approached or pressured to pay. As a Black man, I have experienced similar treatment before, particularly at some Asian-owned restaurants. On one occasion at a different restaurant, I was even followed into the men's restroom by a waitress asking if I was going to pay. I usually don't complain & ai have never really pulled the race card because I often feel nothing will change, but this experience was the last straw. From my perspective, we were singled out because we are Black. I cannot say what was in the waitress's mind, but I know how we were treated, and it was humiliating, disrespectful, and completely unnecessary. No customer should be made to feel like they're under suspicion simply because they're enjoying the end of their meal. I tried to resolve this professionally by calling the restaurant and speaking with the manager. Instead of listening to my concerns, she was dismissive, refused to provide the owner's contact information, and ultimately hung up on me. That response only reinforced my disappointment. This review is not about getting free food or seeking attention. It's about being treated with the same dignity and respect as every other paying customer. If the owner truly values every guest, I hope they read this and contact me directly because this experience deserves to be addressed. Until then, I cannot recommend this restaurant (especially to black people) based on how we were treated. Everyone deserves to enjoy a meal without feeling singled out, stereotyped, or disrespected, apparently we blacks don't pay for our meals at this point I am done with Asian restaurants Greek Cuisine here we come..

VERY GOOD ALL YOU CAN EAT SUSHI!…read more Walked in to TemakHouse on a whim because my boyfriend and I were looking to have sushi for dinner. His conditions were: 1) All you can eat 2) Nearby My conditions were: 1) Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice was on the all you can eat menu 2) Good reviews on Yelp I happened to really like everything we ordered, and everything they served us. . . It was funny that every time we ordered our rolls, even though they were the same roll, they came different every time. For example: we ordered the 'Fancy Roll' twice, and one time it came without cucumbers, and the other time it did. (It's supposed to come with cucumbers.) (I maybe thinking of another roll from the menu but this is an example that happened.) Another thing to note is that this is a Brazilian x Japanese establishment, which my boyfriend and I didn't know. Basically everyone was only speaking Portuguese, even the hostess greeted us and farewelled us in Portuguese. I'm giving TemakHouse 4-stars because they had wonderful service, great food, lots of options, everything was pretty to look at, and clean, my only criticism is the prices, and the inconsistentcy in the sushi rolls.

I came in for a delivery pickup, gave the name on the order clearly, showed it on my phone, and was still asked to repeat myself multiple times despite the information being right in front of the host. That alone felt dismissive but I stayed patient. What really caught me off guard was when I went to take the bag, the host grabbed it and held on with what I can only describe as a grip I've never experienced in any restaurant interaction. I've done hundreds of pickups and I have never had someone physically resist handing over a confirmed order like I was attempting something wrong. I wasn't rude, I wasn't aggressive, I simply came to do my job. The lack of basic respect shown toward delivery drivers here is genuinely shocking. These are the people keeping your third party revenue alive. I raised my concern with management and received a dismissive response with no real accountability taken. The reviews here suggest the food may be worth trying but if this is how the staff treats people who are there to support the business I can't in good conscience recommend it. Incredibly disappointing.

We specifically chose it because the wife loves crab legs, and they run an incredible All-You-Can-Eat special on Tuesdays and Thursdays. As you can see from my photo more than half of our table went all-in on the AYCE crab legs, and it was a glorious, buttery battlefield. The kitchen kept the supply coming--served up in big metal tins, consistently warm, perfectly cooked, and accompanied by absolute pools of melted butter for dipping. The quality and pace for an all-you-can-eat setup were top-notch. The wife was in seafood heaven! Now, with a name like Catfish Dewey's, you know I couldn't leave without testing the namesake dish. I ordered the catfish, and it was a total home run. It came out piping hot, with a perfectly seasoned, ultra-crispy golden crust while staying incredibly flaky and tender on the inside. The Hidden Gem Bonus: They start you off with complimentary hush puppies served with butter.
