    Gatorland - Adventure hour

Absolutely would come back! So worth your time if you're in the area. The prices make sense and…read morethere are SO MANY gators! The lot of land is much much bigger than we realized. Our favorite area were the crocs - spent a lot of our time watching them. The show we saw was great and we were able to get photos with the gator after. There's also many other animals to see like farm and birds! Staff were all friendly and knowledgeable. Train ride was fun, relaxing, and we got to see even more of the park. Highly recommend!

What a unique experience. We've been to Orlando more times than I can count and never thought to…read morecome here. I wish we'd visited earlier. Our visit stated with a short view of the gators at the opening. However I booked the stompin gator off road adventure ride so we had to rush to the back of the park to meet our time. The ride was a fun short ride through a made up rivals gator park. It gave a closer view of gators. We enjoyed this as an opener to the park. Once done, we walked the entire path reading facts and observing gators in their habitat. There is a feeding area where you can feed smaller gators which my daughter wanted to do. That was a lot of fun and a unique experience. Mom enjoyed watching her experience it . Just be mindful the birds are watchful and will quickly snatch any unprotected fish. There is a walking path that makes you feel like you are walking in the Everglades. Don't miss that. It was both peaceful and scary. We kept expecting gators or snakes on the path and were scared too many times by bugs/spiders. Someone said to try the gator bites but we never found where they were served so that's the only thing we missed. Overall a nice visit but plan something else for the day. It's a few hours type activity not an all day activity.

If you're bargain-hunting to this extent, just go straight to Spirit Airlines, Frontier Airlines,…read moreor Avelo Airlines and call it a day. We were already an hour late to depart, which felt ambitious given the state of the plane. You'd think that extra hour might go toward, I don't know, basic cleaning? Instead, the crew seemed far more focused on policing personal items and charging people for carry-ons than addressing the crushed Cheetos graveyard we were all expected to sit in. I'm fairly certain a 6-year-old was in the cockpit, because that would at least explain the chaos. The flight attendants? Deeply committed to complaining as a full-time performance art. One of them moved through the aisle like a skipping adult child, while the other seemed far more invested in her beaded headpiece than, say, safety or sanitation. Boarded the plane and immediately thought I'd walked into a crime scene sponsored by stale snacks. I've seen cleaner floors at Waffle House at 2am. Long story short: if this is your budget, just walk. Or drive. Or hitchhike. Anything with a seatbelt and dignity would be an upgrade.

So, Allegiant really isn't that different any more except it is still much cheaper if you are traveling between the towns they serve. My flight out of Appleton to Sanford Orlando and my flight back were both packed, on time, with my luggage arriving on the baggage claim carousel shortly after I arrived. So, that's better than my last couple of flights on Delta and United. It was a short flight so I paid for no upgrades, I was boarded last, punished with a center seat, and had to buy clothes at my destination as well as do laundry in the hotel but traveling between small airports and saving hundreds of dollars, it was worth it. They are very strict about luggage, you just get one personal and it has to fit in the smallest space I've ever seen in front of my seat, though they don't count CPAP and other necessary medical equipment so I guess I had two little carryons. You can only put a bag in overhead if you pay for it, but if you pay for checked luggage ahead of time online (use their app), it's not any more than Delta or United and less than Spirit. Like Spirit, there will be sick contagious passengers and crying babies all around you. Bring hearing protection, reading material, snacks and an empty water bottle to fill past security as they charge a lot for drinks and snacks in flight.

I heard so much about Orlando's new "bullet train," but I had yet to experience it. So, I decided…read moreon my travel this past week, that I'd take the train. This station is located in MCO's terminal C, a much slower paced and quieter section as compared to the rest of the airport. The aesthetics were very appealing, modern, and chic. I love how easy it was to get from the outside to check-in. It may have taken me 10 minutes at most to travel through the terminal and make it to the station. The ease of the process alone makes it such a great travel option! My only point of improvement is that there were no visible security detectors for people to walk through. This did make me ponder the overall safety and security of the train. Nevertheless, I felt comfortable and the train ride was so smooth. Onboarding the entire train took less than 20 mins and Off-boarding takes only 2 minutes per stop! The interior of the train was clean, spacious, and sleek. I'm very impressed by this station and the Brightline. 10 out of 10, totally recommend!!!!

Of the Aventura and Orlando stations this Orlando location is by far superior…read more My main complaint was that there needs to be an attendant on the tracks as several wonderfully smart people decided to group up and block the escalator entirely. I don't know why they chose to wait for their massive group at the tracks and block every single person getting off the train, but they should have been asked to go up the escalator to wait as it was fire hazard. That being said, this station was incredibly easy to navigate once you made it upstairs and additionally had a comfortable outside seating area for rideshare. I do have the same complaint that they need to list the track that's boarding on the screens and not over the loud speaker, but this location seemed built for crowds, whereas the Aventura station just seemed poorly designed. All in all, I don't plan to take Brightline again, but I do think this is one of the better station set ups they have.
