Overall, Southwest has been super reliable for me. Sure, there are occasional delays, but they've mostly been weather-related. On a recent MCO to PIT flight, we had about an hour delay due to weather, but they made up time in the air and it only ended up being about a 30-minute delay. Plus, the flight wasn't full, which made for a really comfortable ride. One thing I actually like is their boarding process. It's almost like a virtual queue--check in early, get a better boarding position, and you've got a solid shot at a good seat. Wait too long, and you're probably heading toward the back. Flying solo, it doesn't matter much to me, but with family, that early check-in strategy definitely comes into play. Their rewards program is solid, the staff is consistently friendly and communicative, and they just get you where you need to go without the headaches. Not much to complain about here--Southwest has earned its spot as my preferred airline in the sky. Wheels up!

Pay attention to signage that lists the cities managed by the counter. We easily printed off boarding passes and luggage tags. The line took time to check in our bags so beware and allow buffer time. Employees were friendly and made sure we had what was needed for a smooth check in with security. The gates had plenty of seating and when our flight was ready, the agents called the boarding groups quickly. We also took advantage of checking in our carry ons for free.

This station is located in MCO's terminal C, a much slower paced and quieter section as compared to the rest of the airport. The aesthetics were very appealing, modern, and chic. I love how easy it was to get from the outside to check-in. It may have taken me 10 minutes at most to travel through the terminal and make it to the station. The ease of the process alone makes it such a great travel option! My only point of improvement is that there were no visible security detectors for people to walk through. This did make me ponder the overall safety and security of the train. Nevertheless, I felt comfortable and the train ride was so smooth. Onboarding the entire train took less than 20 mins and Off-boarding takes only 2 minutes per stop! The interior of the train was clean, spacious, and sleek. I'm very impressed by this station and the Brightline. 10 out of 10, totally recommend!!!!

I don't know why they chose to wait for their massive group at the tracks and block every single person getting off the train, but they should have been asked to go up the escalator to wait as it was fire hazard. That being said, this station was incredibly easy to navigate once you made it upstairs and additionally had a comfortable outside seating area for rideshare. I do have the same complaint that they need to list the track that's boarding on the screens and not over the loud speaker, but this location seemed built for crowds, whereas the Aventura station just seemed poorly designed. All in all, I don't plan to take Brightline again, but I do think this is one of the better station set ups they have.

Our visit stated with a short view of the gators at the opening. However I booked the stompin gator off road adventure ride so we had to rush to the back of the park to meet our time. The ride was a fun short ride through a made up rivals gator park. It gave a closer view of gators. We enjoyed this as an opener to the park. Once done, we walked the entire path reading facts and observing gators in their habitat. There is a feeding area where you can feed smaller gators which my daughter wanted to do. That was a lot of fun and a unique experience. Mom enjoyed watching her experience it . Just be mindful the birds are watchful and will quickly snatch any unprotected fish. There is a walking path that makes you feel like you are walking in the Everglades. Don't miss that. It was both peaceful and scary. We kept expecting gators or snakes on the path and were scared too many times by bugs/spiders. Someone said to try the gator bites but we never found where they were served so that's the only thing we missed. Overall a nice visit but plan something else for the day. It's a few hours type activity not an all day activity.

I will say I have yet to fly Spirit. I first flew Frontier over 10 years ago since they had a Direct Flight from Orlando to San Diego. I got "the works" package or whatever they call it and it was wonderful. More recently, I was going to Charlotte and American was absolutely ridiculous at $800 round trip. Frontier had it for $182 with a "good" seat that I chose when booking the flight. Being somewhat unfamiliar with the process, and having priority boarding, I asked the 3 ladies at the counter, after standing there for a few minutes while they just BS'ed with each other how boarding works. They said they'd call for the priority boarding. Well, after listening and waiting and going through pre-boards and military and all of the other more deserving people getting on the plane, they never said the word "Priority", I guess they call it something different that's 'on the boarding pass which makes it confusing. As far as prices and getting there, it's a pretty good option even if you have a carry-on and are checking a bag. The drink and food options on the plane were a bit pricey so I'd say load up at the Airport first. You get what you pay for for sure. But they got me there on-time which is half the battle. But the gate staff was 1-star for being so unhelpful. I'd fly them again if I had to, but never again by choice.
