If you ever wondered what it was like to cross the country to a new frontier in a covered wagon, then this Airline invokes the worst of the worst in travel options. I will say I have yet to fly Spirit. I first flew Frontier over 10 years ago since they had a Direct Flight from Orlando to San Diego. I got "the works" package or whatever they call it and it was wonderful. More recently, I was going to Charlotte and American was absolutely ridiculous at $800 round trip. Frontier had it for $182 with a "good" seat that I chose when booking the flight. Being somewhat unfamiliar with the process, and having priority boarding, I asked the 3 ladies at the counter, after standing there for a few minutes while they just BS'ed with each other how boarding works. They said they'd call for the priority boarding. Well, after listening and waiting and going through pre-boards and military and all of the other more deserving people getting on the plane, they never said the word "Priority", I guess they call it something different that's 'on the boarding pass which makes it confusing. As far as prices and getting there, it's a pretty good option even if you have a carry-on and are checking a bag. The drink and food options on the plane were a bit pricey so I'd say load up at the Airport first. You get what you pay for for sure. But they got me there on-time which is half the battle. But the gate staff was 1-star for being so unhelpful. I'd fly them again if I had to, but never again by choice. read more

I dont get the low reviews . It was a seamless experience for me. Their boarding procedures are very simple. Announcements are made ahead of time to lyk. They pre board...id you're military you get to pre-board. Then the board by the number on your boarding pass 1-6. Also they are very serious about boarding. They will send you to the end of the line if your a 5 or 6. Cabin crew are always friendly. Waiting area is clean but not .many charging ports so bring a portable device. My flight back to Dulles was eventful.. major turbulence.. so plan accordingly. The seats and aisles are narrow... you have to pay for everything.. Assigned seats Priority boarding. Checked bags Carryon bags.. You can bring a personal bag.. however a gate agent is also watching and will pull you out of line to put your bag in the personal bag sizer... I was on flight F91875, Conf# VB4U5Y: Fri March 27- Tues March 31 from MCO to Las Vegas. Someone was supposed to contact me regarding my First Responder Registered Nurse off duty services I helped/gave for a passenger on the flight who passed out and had a seizure. The flight attendant took down/documented all of my information and told me someone would be contacting me regarding this incident and compensate me for my services. No one has reached out to me or have I been given any compensation for my time/services. When I followed up with Frontier, they proceeded to tell me that there was no record of this incident. I escalated to a supervisor- Vikas, and he only repeated what the previous rep told me. I emphasized how this is even possible, when paramedics came on board to pick up assistance, when we landed. My husband and I booked round trip tickets from Las Vegas to Orlando late June. The flight from Orlando to Las Vegas was an early morning flight that left around 8:15 A.M. est with a 10:00 A.M pst arrival in Las Vegas Nevada. We ended up booking business, Frontier's newest offering, with seats in the front [2] rows. Check-in process was a breeze. Boarding was on time, starting 40 minutes prior to departing. We had no delays! We boarded first and sat in the second row. We used the space below the seat for our personal item and the space above in the storage for our carry on. We had one carry on and one personal item. The seats reclined with a button at the bottom of the seat. With Frontier Airlines, you can purchase snacks or drinks. Unlike other carriers like Southwest or JetBlue, they do not provide complimentary snacks. The seats were uncomfortable though! The flight did arrive early by 15 minutes! Overall we were impressed that the flight left on time, and arrived early! I would use Frontier Airlines again as a backup! The Frontier team members on our flight were great! read more

My experience with you was so horrendous that I'm convinced that you are incapable of caring about your customers. You had the nerve to state, in flight, that first class was coming to Frontier?! I usually never post negative reviews, but with this airline is not the greatest. My mom was flying out of Orlando to go to Raleigh Durham, International Airport. The plane got delayed by 52 hours and she had to drive all the way down to Tampa to take a flight to Atlanta International Airport. I think Frontier gets a lot of unjustified hate. I have taken over 20 flights with this airline. I have had just as good of service onboard as with most other airlines. - the exceptions would be Hawaiian, Bahamian and Etihad airlines that go well beyond regular service. I have had delays, but we all have. Orlando has terrible storms that stop all planes. Is service perfect? No. But Frontier is pretty upfront with their pricing and services, even if people say they don't like the prices and services...those same people still choose to fly with them. I will never ever fly with Frontier again. I paid full price for my tickets a total of $635 for 4 tickets as well as paid for a carry on around 47 bucks and this company didn't even treat us like paying customers. Their service was so degrading we came one minute ONE over boarding time and nothing was even said over the intercom and as she closed the door she acts like she doesn't even see me walking up and she knew because my older son came to her first a few mins before and there was no last boarding call with our names. I didnt even hear the general last call from them either. Then some others come like 2 minutes after us and after boarding and we even mention we're basically still on time because it was 1-2 minutes now but she stays no it's when I close the doors! The flight was suppose to take off at 8:10 and it takes off at 8:05 so a FULL 14 minutes of time in between where she could of made a choice to let us in.. once the plane finally departs I ask the other lady does this mean we have to pay again and she basically talks to me very degradingly about it like I was her child. It's so sad as she seen I was with my children too. When I went to the main terminal even the worker Loudice says this is crazy, that they are doing this to many people And she says it more than once during our conversation. Thank goodness she helped us as much as she could to figure out plan b and others they were doing it to! Also when I came telling and asking her whats going on with them she was so polite and understood something needs to be done and didn't even interrupt up me and I was expecting her to yell at me like the other lady who was boarding did. I just wanted to add TSA to my ticket. The lady at the agent counter at 6:30 this morning clearly had no working ability. She did something on the computer and told me to show my phone boarding pass when i going to TSA security. Then I went to the TSA line, and the security officer told me that my boarding pass didn't have add TSA. I came back to this lady again, saying that I didn't have a TSA boarding pass on my phone and like showed her my phone. But she unhappy said that the phone was mine and she had no obligation to help me check what was wrong with my phone. I said, "OK, can you print a boarding pass with TSA for me? Otherwise, I won't make it to the plane." Before I could finish my sentence, she rudely said that it would cost an extra $25 to print. I said that was fine. But then she told me to go to the check-in counter across the way. Although the man there was kind enough to waive the $25 printing fee after hearing my situation, by the time I reached the boarding gate, it was too late. The gate closed five minutes early before i went to gate.I had no luggage and had TSA, but I wasted an hour going back and forth between the counter and the TSA line then missing my flight. Purchased the $599 Go Wild Pass at launch last winter (it became active 5/2/23 I believe) and I have been using it here and there. First trip was to New York LGA in late May. That overall flight and return went well. Frontier is not the best when it comes to reliability at times but the pass is well worth it in my opinion. Hopefully when the pass renews it's for the same price and I'll def renew. Flying out of MCO today. I have a bag purchased from Amazon with the specs of their personal item requirement. It works well. I'm able to pack 2-3 days work of clothes in it. I never pay for extras such as a carry on with Frontier. I paid $50 for a trip from Orlando Florida to NYC. There is nothing cheaper than that. So i wouldn't expect first class seats, first class service, etc. The plane was just a plane, and the seat was bare down seat. No tv screen, no fancy tray, no free snacks nor drinks, nothing. As expected. All i did was get in and get out, and get my business done. Done There was no subtlety in customer services. Before boarding the plane the attendant had everyone have their backpacks go thru their volume measuring tool, and forced noncompliant ppl to pay for their carry on. The carry on size seemed smaller than airport standards. They were yelling and it was a mess. On top of that it delayed the plane from taking off... There was some plane rattling during the taking off and landing. It gave me the impression that the plane was not properly maintained... I was a bit concerned during the flight... Did y'all know that those clowns who are at the gates and at the counters are not even Frontier employees? For some reason Frontier thought this was a good idea? I'll by the time I got to the place to ask for help I was told I was too late (5 minutes past the hour requirement when I was already in 2 lines for an hour. Only to be sent to a different line to figure out an alternative which took another 45 minutes. The next flight to my destination was the next morning. I ended up booking on sun country so I could get home. The customer service people were all either yelling, very condescending, rude or they just plain didn't care about anyone's stress or missed flights due to no fault of their own. I went to the Frontier Airlines ticket counter to get my TSA Pre added to my ticket, and the individual Frontier employee at the counter was frustrated with me because I asked him to speak a bit louder and clearer since I couldn't understand a word of what he was responding to. Well... excuse me, it's not my problem that you can't communicate clearly and I have to ask you to repeat! Needless to say, this individual was going out of his way giving me a hard time instead of helping me get my transaction done. So, I proceeded to TSA pre, and the line was as long as the regular TSA. TSA Pre employees were standing there useless; instead of opening another line for TSA Pre, paying for this priority does not work at this mediocre Orlando airport. After the TSA checkpoint, I proceeded to Frontier Nightmare Airlines gate #10 / Orlando to Boston / F9-1978 / supposed departure at @9:30 pm. There I found chaos with the rudest Frontier agents at the gate, going back and forth with passengers who were traveling together demanding them to pay for backpacks! I heard one of the customers saying that they always fly with the same backpack and never had issues and the Frontier employee threatened them with not letting them board the plane! So, I passed the gate ordeal and sat down then waited, and waited, and waited, and waited for an hour-plus delay, sitting on the tarmac. The aircraft was still not on and it was 100 degrees and humid inside the aircraft. Finally, after waiting for an hour + delay the pilot decided to turn on the aircraft, but we were still sitting on the ground without signs of departure. In the process, Frontier crew members, employees, and attendants were going in and out of the aircraft, joking around, talking, laughing including using the lavatory. At one point I couldn't hold it anymore and had to use the bathroom immediately or my bladder was going to explode, so I got up to use the lavatory, and an extremely unpleasant, rude, and unprofessional Frontier Airlines male attendant (photo attached to review) blocked my access to the lavatory with his arm, scolding me aggressively as if I was his 2-year-old to go back to my seat, making me feel embarrassed and humiliated in front of passengers witnessing! I firmly insisted I needed to use the lavatory or my bladder was going to explode after waiting for so long! until a female attendant intervened and demanded he let me use the lavatory. Due to Hurricane Debby, our return trip from Tampa to Chicago was diverted. Our usual Airline, cancelled our flight and we had to find another way home. We searched Cheap Flights and decided to book on Frontier flying out of Orlando. The one way ticket was "$221". HA! After you pay for seats, checked baggage AND carry on baggage (YEP, $25 per item), our flight came to $400 for 2 people or $800! Everything is deemed an extra. Our round trip tickets from O'Hare to Tampa which included checked bags and seat assignments and free cocktails/beverages was only $730 on a major Airline! The incoming flight from O'Hare was delayed by 3 hours. Frontier did send me an email of the delay but, at the Gate, there was no updated arrival time. It said we were still going to board at 9:42PM. BTW, the waiting are has a shared electronic device station, not individual seats like O'Hare! Inconvenient. The Attendant at the Gate quickly stopped by, very softly mumbled some update into the PA system, which no one heard and then quickly left. As for beverage service on the flight, everything costs $$$. Our seat mate ordered a beer for $10! I am not 100% sure, but I think they even charge for water. This was my first time flying frontier after a cancelled flight in March. Compared to spirit I was actually quite impressed! Some of the pros: the staff is nice and polite, our flight left a couple minutes before time (all the passenger boarded), and overall not too bumpy of a ride.
