I recently flew out to Orlando for my first time since around 2013 for a work conference, and…read morememories immediately came back from the last time I was there from the airport to the hotel. Unfortunately, I didn't have time on my trip to enjoy a lot of what makes Orlando unique and special. I flew on American Airlines and found myself flying in and out of Terminal B, Airside 3. It was easy to navigate between the gates, baggage claim, and shuttle pick-up area. Unlike friends who absolutely hate flying, I enjoy the travel experience, especially when using some helpful tools like CLEAR, Global Entry/TSA Pre-Check, airport lounge membership, and airline status, most of which I was able to enjoy during my Orlando visit. When checking in, I typically have been able to skip the check-in area if I didn't need to check bags (as I checked in online) though this time, I checked in at the priority area for assistance and checking bags. I then went to the Terminal B check-in and used Global Entry and CLEAR (or TSA Pre-Check Touchless) to skip most of the line at Security while keeping my shoes on (thanks to an American Express Platinum card which comes with credits for both). Orlando's Terminal B offers multiple airline lounges including The Club MCO, Delta Sky Club, United Club, and Admirals Club. While the AMEX Platinum (or Priority Pass) provide access for entry to The Club MCO (when flying any airline) and the Delta Sky Club (when flying Delta), they weren't near my gate, and I wasn't flying Delta. Rather, my gate was right next to the Admirals Club, which I also had access to. After a short wait, I was able to enjoy that lounge. I wrote a separate review about my experience there, which was quite positive. When I initially arrived to the Orlando TSA West Checkpoint, I couldn't tell it was the West Checkpoint until I asked someone. Though I knew where I was, I was easily able to tell the difference for the regular line, the TSA Pre-Check line, the CLEAR line, and the TSA Pre-Check Touchless line. The CLEAR and Touchless lines were moving the fastest with the Pre-Check line going rather quickly, and the regular line went at a steady pace but had many more people in it. The security were helpful and friendly, and the TSA agents were reasonable with what they allow to be in luggage without questioning items. Upon arriving and picking up my luggage, which had a bit of a wait, my colleague and I headed to Ground Transportation to take advantage of the Mears Shuttle to one of the hotels in the area. I then took rideshare to get back to the airport, and I was dropped off right outside of the check-in area for all of the Terminal B airlines. I also found the tram was easy to get on and off and to navigate between my gate and baggage claim. I have no idea when I plan to be back in Orlando again but I would certainly welcome the chance to fly through the Orlando International Airport again.

I haven't had any issues during my visits here. Despite the long crowds, it moves pretty quickly. I…read morecan also appreciate the chokehold Disney has on this airport and we love seeing the fun custom tray for Xray lol!

If you want to be packed in like sardines, this lounge is for you…read more This place definitely wasn't designed with comfort in mind. The seating is so cramped you'll practically be breathing the same air as the people next to you. If you're lucky, you might even get to hear their entire phone conversation while you're at it. I did. I got to listen to a mother on the phone giving live updates as her daughter went from 1 cm dilated to 4 cm. By the end of the call, I practically felt like I was sitting in the delivery room waiting for the baby to arrive. The food options are very limited and honestly not very good. It's not the worst lounge I've been to, but it's nowhere near great. Just be prepared for a crowded, uncomfortable experience where you have no personal space.

It was clean and did what it was suppose to do. The foods was good and light the hummus was really good. The chicken with sun-dried tomato was very tasty. I also enjoyed the falafel wrap with hummus and chillies. The bartender was the man of the hour. I can't remember his name but it was a black guy with dreads and he was the only one working at the time on Monday around 6pm. He held that place down there was a line but he moved it quickly with a smile top tier. Overall another good experience.

Our travel…read moreagent was able to book us 1 x Double King Size Bed Room for just over $200, which was a great price comparative to staying on property and this avoided needing an uber to a Walt Disney World Resort (WDW). Pros: + When booking DCL Transport, you get to arrive at the terminal earlier. First time sailors, and we managed to get boarding group 3!!! I think Hyatt MCO takes priority over WDW Resorts. + Modern room that appeared clean and well-maintained. + Love the rainforest coffee as had at another Hyatt and enjoyed. + Two restaurants on site, plus you can go to airport food court if you desire. + Conveniently located in the airport, and has a great view! Cons: - Beautiful balcony to the airport, but can't open the window. I'm sure they could at one time, and someone ruined it sadly. - Toilet and shower are together, so it makes it difficult if multiple people on the room. I prefer a split. - Depending on your room, you will walk A LOT to your room. Ours was equidistant to the elevator whether you went right or left. Definitely a pain if you plan to venture for food, the pool, etc. - No hot tub, and only a rooftop pool. We were prepared to go into a hot tub, and ended up turning around as there was not one. Boo! Overall, I would still book this for our future cruise as we booked a placeholder to save 10% on next DCL Cruise (up to 25%). It made DCL Transport so easy, and they were well organized! Definitely suggest if you need for DCL or even just a hotel for an airport travel stay.

In the terminal are some shops and a food court. I was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't noisy when we slept. The carpet felt not clean. Though they have a pool, leave it to your preferences on if you would swim there. The bed and furniture was fine.
