I heard so much about Orlando's new "bullet train," but I had yet to experience it. So, I decided on my travel this past week, that I'd take the train. This station is located in MCO's terminal C, a much slower paced and quieter section as compared to the rest of the airport. The aesthetics were very appealing, modern, and chic. I love how easy it was to get from the outside to check-in. It may have taken me 10 minutes at most to travel through the terminal and make it to the station. The ease of the process alone makes it such a great travel option! My only point of improvement is that there were no visible security detectors for people to walk through. This did make me ponder the overall safety and security of the train. Nevertheless, I felt comfortable and the train ride was so smooth. Onboarding the entire train took less than 20 mins and Off-boarding takes only 2 minutes per stop! The interior of the train was clean, spacious, and sleek. I'm very impressed by this station and the Brightline. 10 out of 10, totally recommend!!!! read more

Of the Aventura and Orlando stations this Orlando location is by far superior. My main complaint was that there needs to be an attendant on the tracks as several wonderfully smart people decided to group up and block the escalator entirely. I don't know why they chose to wait for their massive group at the tracks and block every single person getting off the train, but they should have been asked to go up the escalator to wait as it was fire hazard. That being said, this station was incredibly easy to navigate once you made it upstairs and additionally had a comfortable outside seating area for rideshare. I do have the same complaint that they need to list the track that's boarding on the screens and not over the loud speaker, but this location seemed built for crowds, whereas the Aventura station just seemed poorly designed. All in all, I don't plan to take Brightline again, but I do think this is one of the better station set ups they have. read more

I bought premium service from Orlando to Aventura. Easy drop off at the station. You have to pay for parking if you don't get dropped off. Station is clean and well organized. Could not check my giant luggage because I am getting off in Aventura and there is no luggage off there I guess so I had to lug it through the station and left it up onto the belt to go through security. Hated that but it did state that there was no luggage checked through Aventura so I guess I cant complain. Got to the premium lounge and as I was early there was plenty of seating but it filled up quickly with hardly any seating available shortly before boarding. There was beer and wine,soda coffee and water available for no charge. Also breakfast items such as mini muffins, Danish, hard boiled eggs, cereal, yogurt, waffles, pancakes and fresh fruit were available. As I was getting ready to board they were bringing out some lunch items. I only saw chicken nuggets and some candy but Im sure there were other items. Boarding was easy with premium because you get priority while there is a huge long line for everyone else. Seats are comfy and the train is clean. Wifi is on and off so that's kind of a pain if you need it for work. The literature says that all food and drinks are complimentary but there are only 2 options for "lunch" but they have lots of snacks available like chips and candy and hummus. They come around with the carts like on an airplane. The food was ok. The drinks were good, including alcoholic beverages. The ride was smooth and the attendants were helpful and personable. I would definitely do it again but not necessarily premium. The experience was good but honestly you could bring your own snacks and drinks, sit in coach and be just as happy for almost half the price. Brightline trains are top notch and a nice break from the airport chaos or driving on a long road trip. The Orlando station is huge and located inside the Orlando Airport. You have to walk through the airport to get to the car rental area if you end up getting a car rental. Otherwise, I think you can walk outside of the train station and have your friends/family pick you up curbside. Don't take my word for it as we headed to car rentals when we had arrived. The Orlando station is a beautiful and spacious setting. More retail and food/drink options. Beautiful set up. If you get a chance to ride the Brightline, it's a really nice and luxurious experience! The train stations are all brand spanking new and so clean and modern. Easy to navigate too. You can find fairly inexpensive tickets from Fort Lauderdale to Orlando pending on the time you travel. I can snag $49 one way ticket to Orlando for super early times between 6-7am or random late afternoon times. Prices range from $49 up to $124 per person each way. If you think about it, it can be equivalent to flying but without the airport hassle. Travel time is similar to driving as you have to factor in all the stops along the way so travel to Orlando is about 3 hours for a direct train. Just had my first experience riding the Brightline to Miami and WOW! Now I don't want to travel any other way. I was taking a quick solo trip to South Florida to visit a friend, and I'm so glad I opted to take the train instead of driving. When I first heard that the train station was going to be located at the airport, I'll admit that I was not thrilled. I thought it would require a lot of hassle, but everything was so easy and smooth. The Brightline has its own separate drop-off/pick-up area located at the new Terminal C, and it was not congested at all. Your train ticket is in the app on your phone, so you simply scan it and walk through the gates. There is a quick security check point but you just run your baggage through the conveyor (no removing your shoes)... easy peasy. You can bring 2 carry-on bags on board with you for free. They also have a luggage check option. Once you enter the station, there is a bar and shop selling concessions, coffee, snacks, etc. I had an early morning trip, so coffee it was! You can also order hot breakfast and other meals throughout the day at the bar. I chose the cheaper SMART fare for the ride down to Miami and then selected the Premium option for my return. They both were super clean, comfortable, spacious and quiet. I was able to get so much work done in that 3.5 hour ride -- I've never felt more productive, haha. I had heard from friends beforehand that the wifi doesn't always work well, but luckily I did not encounter any issues. I enjoyed getting to experience the premium ride on the way back. This includes access to the Premium lounge at the station beforehand, so I only got to check out the lounge in the Miami station - not Orlando. There is a buffet, beverages (including beer & wine), and more comfortable lounge seating. On the train, you get served lunch and two beverages (including alcohol) so I treated myself to a mimosa. They also have single seats in the premium coaches, so you have more privacy and don't have to worry about anyone sitting next to you. There is definitely a significant price difference between the SMART fare and Premium, so I don't think I'd do it every time, but I did really enjoy it. With the rising gas prices, the cost of riding the train vs driving is probably comparable. The only negative is that you don't have a vehicle once you arrive at your destination, so if you have to uber/lyft everywhere, that definitely increases the overall cost of your trip. read more

I really had a great experience at the Brightline Orlando station. I was late to my original train and they were nice enough to reschedule me on the next train free of cost. The lounge area was clean and had lots of places to charge your phone and devices I ate a bacon egg and cheese bagel at Mari and it was good and fresh. The bread the bagel was very soft but not soggy. The beacon was good not the best one I've had but decent for a station. The trains are punctual. The staff in the train are very polite. The Brightline station has a beautiful white and gold entry with plenty of parking. The station itself is very spacious and has clean, modernized restrooms. My friend and I decided to take a day trip for the holiday and our mode of transportation was the Brightline Train. A few lessons learned, purchase tickets together, wait for boarding directions via announcements, and prepare for a long walk to your coach. Otherwise, it's great! We are taking an inaugural trip for the line called the Freedom Express Train, had service people, and an Olympic runner for the kickoff! From the Brightline website: "Brightline unveils a commemorative Freedom Express train, in partnership with America250, which features 10 moments in United States history. The 10-coach Freedom Express train set celebrates the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence and the nationwide America250 commemoration taking place in 2026." Okay, good to know. I had a chance to use the onboard Dyson restroom. Talk about sleek and the amenity of having the water dispenser and hand dryer in one spot, the sink was a new thing! There are large cartoons to assist with the use of the combo. The interior had plenty of room too! Wow! It was a great experience and the friendly staff were incredibly helpful. They could see the "lost looks" and come to provide guidance. We found that many riders were first-timers and were impressed as well. Be aware that the ride is a little pricey; however the speed and comfort are worth the price. Note, the train car seats appear and feel very well used making them a bit uncomfortable. The bright line terminal is amazing at each station. They come in all different sizes, this one at Orlando airport is big. The standard waiting Lobby is larger than the one in Miami. The entrance is like coming in to a Star Wars terminal, very futuristic. It is within a new terminal full of glass and natural sunlight. I've taken the Brightline between Miami and Orlando a handful of times, and the process of is always so easy. I never check luggage, so I can't speak on that experience. But purchasing a ticket, scanning on, and going through security is always smooth. Being attached to MCO makes things so easy. The station itself is clean, there are clear announcements and clear signage. The train terminal itself is small and seating is limited, especially compared to the station in Miami. I got a deal on a Premium ticket once, and the Premium lounge is quite nice with free hot food, snacks and beverages that you help yourself to. Though there weren't any vegetarian options for food in the lounge, there was one on the train itself. In the regular lounge, there is a bar towards the back and a small convenience store after you clear security which is card only. I am a big fan of brightline and when the price is allowable I love their premium experience. The lounge access is great before your ride and the complimentary snacks/meal and drinks on board aren't bad either. The Orlando station is conveniently located in MCO terminal 3 which is great if connecting to catch a flight. To get to any theme parks areas you will need to uber and its a 30 min drive with no traffic and approx $35 each way. This review is specifc to the Orlando premium lounge. Prior have been to premium lounge in Miami, ft lauderdale and Boca. Some are bigger with hot food options and some have more simpler options like sandwiches and wraps. The Orlando lounge is one of the bigger lounges. I arrived around 1045 and they were cleaning up breakfast items and just put out lunch items. Available were 3 flavors of boneless chicken nuggets, hummus, macaroni salad, cheese and crackers. There were also cookies and brownies for dessert. They had a make your own fancy coffee machine, a serve yourself flavored carbonated water, a cooler with sodas, and a serve yourself draft wine and beer. A few things I noted: The cooler was fairly empty. Several shelves were empty and never restocked. They didn't have any bottled water which I have always seen at other lounges. None of the charging ports were working. I tried about 10 of them and they were all broken and non functioning. Overall it was OK. I really needed to charge my phone so it was very frustrating that so many of the ports were non functioning. If the price is right I will do premium out of MCO again but I will make sure my phone is fully charged and I have a bottle of water with me. read more

I see why people take it to go to the amusement parks or to fly out of the Orlando airport because it drops you off right there. I was very nervous for doing the Brightline for the first time. My ride was from Orlando to Fort Lauderdale and I had gotten the premium class tickets. From purchasing the tickets online I was able to select the times and seats smoothly. I had the time to read through everything and it was explained well. Purchased the tickets and was set for the trip. went to the station and was checked like usual for security reasons. They had a seperate lobby for premium members. They had food, drinks, charging stations and seating areas. When entering train my seat was clean and was close to the bathroom which was great! I was checked up on everytime and even for the menu. The attendant explained everything thoroughly and I enjoyed the drinks( liquor ) . The food was decent and was able to see the beautiful views. I'm currently riding in one of the premium cars on the Brightline as I type this review. It is so incredibly convenient, no matter which part of S Florida you're traveling to. As a few others mentioned, you just walk into the Brightline section of Terminal C at MCO and take the elevator to level 5. After going through security for 3 minutes, boom you're in the station. Really, you only need to arrive about 20 minutes ahead of departure time. But definitely get there earlier if you want to take advantage of all premium has to offer as there is a lounge with food and drinks. read more

When I first booked a trip to Miami, I needed to cancel and they gave me a credit since it was my first booking (even though I had the Smart Saver which doesn't allow for cancellations). So don't get the base ticket which is the Smart Saver, because luck will have it that you'll need to change or cancel and why loose? The Smart Saver allows you to pick your seat and bring carry on's at no extra charge. I purchased a pet add-on for $45 each way and my doggy Chloe was very comfortable. During this trip me & Chloe enjoyed every step from the staff at the ticketing desk, to the security check line where the guard was so sweet and friendly (what was cool though is how the other guard was on full alert which make me realize they are serious about security), to the super clean environment in the station and inside the cabins. The food offering needs improvement though so rather than spend $25 -$30 bucks on a sandwich (with snack & beverage with little meat and majority bread) plan ahead and either bring a lunch box or eat before you arrive. I was glad to see good brands like Mike's mustard and Natalie's OJ! The passenger mix was very diversified and there was a friendly, helpful and energetic atmosphere. Sitting back and enjoying the beautiful Florida scenery rather than fighting traffic made it an overall great experience. read more

This is the way to travel! I needed to get to the Miami port for a cruise and couldn't wait to try out the Brightline for the first time. The whole experience was a breeze. You make your way to Terminal C. You can park in the lot right in front of Terminal C. The gate opens after scanning your cars E-PASS and will charge once leaving. It is a short walk into Terminal C, and you take the escalator that is right there up to the next floor, and BOOM, you are at the entrance for the Brightline. The security portion was a breeze. It was a quick process by placing your items on the security belt and scanning your phone for the ticket to let you in. Once inside the "station" there is a bar for coffee beverages and cocktails. A gift shop is available with clothing merchandise, sunscreen, snacks, etc. There were plenty of chairs and seating areas. The bathrooms were clean. There are water bottle fill stations. There are plenty of screens to see when the trains arrive. An announcement came over the speaker system to board, and it was really easy. I can't wait to travel on the Brightline again in a few months for my next cruise! read more

Happily surprised! I was on the fence to use it for so long, but I am so happy life pushed me to use it. I honestly feel like I was in Europe. I arrived way too early because I did not know what to expect . From the entrance by the airport, it is absolutely easy just go up the stairs or take the elevators, I was happily greeted by four different employees. One of them explained where to go and what to do ( which was just to go through the doors lol. They have a store with things that you may have forgotten and some cute merch. They also have a bar called Mary Mary. You can do the premium lounge, but honestly just a regular coach was super comfortable . You even have your tray and armrests. On my way back I had someone next to me, but I did not feel crash or invaded on my personal space. The only thing I would've loved is that the bathroom was a little bit more explicit on the door system closing. My ADHD did not help and thankfully somebody opened the door after I was done with my business. It was my fault by not reading, because I was just overstimulated checking everything out. read more

I will literally never make that drive again because the train makes it so convenient, easy, and stress free. The train station in located inside the beautiful Terminal C are Orlando International Airport. Security is quick and the lounge area is a great place to relax or get some work done with complimentary WiFi. I love that when I ride in Premium I get some snacks and drinks included too! Kicking off a trip with a glass of bubbly feels so posh and not having to worry about packing snacks is really nice too. Pro tip: Be sure to add your checked bag when you book your ticket if you plan to bring one. The checked baggage space is limited and it does fill up. Also sign up for their emails because Brightline has new promo codes all the time and you can save a bunch! My first train experience was a big hit and the Orlando station could not have been more of a breeze to go through! We arrived, went up a couple of escalators, walked down a hallway, walked right through security with zero line, and then walked right up to the bar for a drink before the train boarded. The total of time that took was about 5 minutes. The station was extremely clean and felt new...even though it's not. There were plenty of indicators of when the train was boarding and how much time you had to get on. Luckily we are a full stop station, so there's much more time to board/get off, unlike the other stations in between where you better be paying attention and GO! We took the brightline down to WPB and the trip was such a great experience. Parking in Orlando was mostly full so we did have a trek to the station but we are able-bodied and packed lightly so it was no problem. The train was clean and on time. We were only going a few miles more to our destination once we reached West Palm Beach station so getting a car service was no trouble. Only thing of note at both stations food options are limited and pricey. Also restrooms have very few stalls which can be difficult if you're disembarking from a full train and need some relief. read more

I had an excellent experience here at the Orlando Brightline station. The employees were very friendly and getting in was a breeze. I enjoyed hanging out at the train station and was happy to see it was clean. The ride to and from Orlando to South Florida was seamless. I would highly recommend anyone use the Brightline. read more

My husband was able to drop me off right at the entrance to the Brightline station so I arrived only 30 minutes before my train left. You do have to go up multiple escalators, but they also have an elevator. There is not much seating for standard ticket holders. This is not a big issue if you arrive shortly before the train leaves. They do have a bar that sells coffee and breakfast items in the morning. The website says they don't open until 5:30 but they were open at 5:20 am when I got there. This was a super smooth round trip ride to/from Orlando on the same day to meet up with fam for Thanksgiving. It saved from the stress and exhaustion of a 6 hour round trip commute. We booked through the Brightline app and purchased parking in advance. We left from the Boca Raton station at 8:30am with a return trip at 9:30pm. The Boca station is much smaller but sleek, modern and comfortably fit everyone en route to Orlando. The ride was super scenic and smooth like the trains in Europe. Each seat has a QR barcode with menu offerings from drinks to light meals that are delivered to you. We saved our appetites for the Thanksgiving meal ahead but enjoyed a Bloody Mary on the ride back. The Orlando station is much larger and rightfully so with the amount of people boarding and de boarding. Very modern! Brightline made this long day bearable. read more

Food here is trash. You're better off getting the boxed sandwiches, salads, or wraps from the concession stand. The only reason I didn't give it 1 star is because the bartender very kindly refunded the hoagie when she saw me get something else. Great service. ​​​​​ read more
